Loved the location of hotel and the balcony room is a must have if booking
Aircon was a massive bonus too
Hotel a little tired and needs some updating
Also it’s not mentioned about the parking payment required if you book through booking

Excellent location with parking. Facilities great, comfortable bed, amazing view.
A little on the expensive side, would have been nice to have breakfast included for the price we paid

The location. The breakfast. The outdoor seating
The bed was hard . The pillows were flat. The tv was old and blurry. The hairdryer was a travel sized one which constantly cut out. The toilet was extremely close to the wall. The light was bad when using the mirror

The bed was comfortable.
The rooms and bathrooms are really tired and needs a whole re-fit. The shower didn't work in the first room we were in and we were moved but there wasn't any cold water in the second room we were in. When I asked for some bottled water so we could clean our teeth and put water in the kettle, the receptionist told me sarcastically that she hasn't got a tap behind reception, try the bar. The bar staff were very friendly and we did get some bottled water. Both rooms were full of old cobwebs hanging down and the shelves and tea trays could have done with a good clean. The 'Superior Room' with garden view was a bit of a joke as you didn't look out onto a garden it was a neglected wasteland. If these rooms were supposed to be superior, I cannot imagine what the standard rooms are like.

Location
Having arrived after an 8 hour drive at 7pm that we couldn't have dinner as we hadn't booked.

The welcome was pleasant and the beds were comfortable.
Unfortunately the room was very tired looking and could do with a freshen up. The bathroom was even worse and had flaking paint on the ceiling. For such a grand hotel this was disappointing. Also had to pay an additional £7 for parking.

Breakfast good. Location and parking excellent
Hotel looks a little tired. Communal areas underwhelming. In our bathroom the bath panel was falling off with a large gap! Furnishings were shabby. Bed was good though.

Location Location, very short walk to old Lincoln, just a few minutes more, down a cobbled hill to the newer part of Lincoln. Lincoln is well worth a diversion from your journey to visit; indeed worthy of trip solely to stay a while.

Location
Receptionist seemed very miserable - the location of the room and signs and numbers peculiar

Rooms were comfortable but some parts of the hotel are dated.

Location was amazing. Directly opposite the cathedral, with a family of peregrines flying around the towers for 3 days.
Bedroom not clean and decor in bathroom very untidy and tired.

Breakfast was excellent and the staff friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable (we were upgraded to a room with a view of the cathedral)
The room looked tired, flaking paint on the windowsill, tables and cupboard that housed the tea and coffee. Mastic around the shower tray missing in places and what looked to be shampoo/soap stains on the back of the bathroom door.

Disabled room was easy to access & easy to get to breakfast room & lounge.
Breakfast was excellent
Would have liked bigger bed.

The room was a deluxe on the 3rd floor. It looked like the one pictured. Yes the view is that good. 1960s build allows for the large windows. Fridge, safe, comfy bed. P Shaped bath with shower over. Good storage. Patio doors to a narrow balcony. Parking £5 for the whole stay. Superb position. Good breakfast and Sunday lunch
Terrible cheap toilet roll, sometimes low water pressure to the toilet would have been less of a problem if there had been a toilet brush. lift can be unreliable but quickly sorted when there is a problem. Also found that a number of the customers were older and very wealthy and a few made unreasonable demands on the staff and were quite difficult to please. The staff were very accommodating and patient.

great location, easy to park and breakfast was nice. Staff very friendly.
bathroom was very dark, couldn’t see to put makeup on. No duvet.

The location was perfect, opposite the Cathedral.
The room was drab. The carpet was filthy and the furniture was scruffy. The side was coming away from the bath and was dirty. When we arrived on a very cold day there was no heating on in the room and it was freezing. The hotel had the nerve to describe this as a deluxe room.
