A novel concept that saved me money by only using online check-in with all contact via text or email. The IRIS is a business model in the middle ground between AirBnB and a standard hotel. Loved it! Clean newly remodeled rooms, great location near shopping, dining and freeway access. Stayed 5 nights and this area felt safe and was close to my business meetings.
Nothing negative to say.

I loved the location the most and the amount of restaurants in walking distance
I didn't like the limited parking space

The look and feel of the place.... It a quite little neighborhood and was so easy to get around to locations and stores. Price was really great plenty to eat a do around Berry Hill :)

This motel is an amazing deal if you are visiting Nashville. There are plenty of food spots within walking distance which makes it even better. It’s also within 20 minutes of downtown when there’s no traffic!
It’s very bare bones since it’s a motel not a hotel but it’s still worth the stay.

No breakfast provided
Shower/toilet area very small. Being seniors, there were no grab bars so that was a concern.

The contact free entry
I liked everything ( just some recommendations: full length mirror on the bathroom door and better parking lot lighting in the back )

Great location

The Motel was nice, but I was not happy with the location. I was visiting Nashville for the first time, and wanted to leave the moment I checked in. A call to the staff at the Iris Motel handled my concerns with the upmost professionalism. I was able to check out the next day without penalties and I ended up at a hotel much closer to Broadway. Leah was exceptional and understanding.
Location played a very big role. There was no chair in the room. Unless you sat on the bed, there was no place else to sit. There was also no table which meant if you wanted to eat, you'd have to eat on your bed, which was really strange.

It’s in the middle of everything :)
Nothing to complain

No frills - perfect for us as we weren't going to be spending much time there - but so clean and comfortable. The staff communicates remotely and gives you all of the instructions via email and text. Great value when you just need a comfy, clean sleep that is close to the heart of Nashville. Will definitely choose again.

I liked that it was an old hotel that was renovated to be really cute. It’s themed after the Iris flower.

it was clean & easy to access. the staff was super nice & having an access code made it super easy to check in.
i wish there were more pillows. the tv acted up a bit & the vent in the bathroom dripped after a shower.

easy drive for o our granddaughter’s apartment. comfortable beds
the small bathroom and slippery tub. I have arthritis and other physical problems. It was hard getting into the tub and then I slipped on the slippery surface and almost fell. A shower would be better or at least something on the tub so it wasn’t slippery and hand grips. If I had been injured, I would have made sure you paid for the medical costs. Also climbing stairs to the second floor was hard on my back and injured left leg.

Pros: The location was very convenient for our planned activities. The room was very clean and had nice soap and shampoo/conditioners available. The tub and sink looked new & were very clean. I liked that the floors were not carpet. They were hardwood. There were plenty of towels & washcloths. There were several options for food within walking distance & plenty within driving distance. One hundred Oaks shopping mall is close by as well as a Walmart and Home Depot. There is a mini fridge which was convenient and there is a microwave in the lobby that we used to heat up some breakfast we brought. Overall a great experience and we will stay again in the future.
Cons: There were only 2 small pillows on each bed so more pillows would be nice & the road noise was loud until about 10:00 and then it stayed quiet until around 6:00 am.

Clean, comfortable rooms with convenient keypad lock, that makes it easy to check even when arriving late. Lots of shops and restaurants close by.

No breakfast
The sheets on both beds were dirty. There was no guest service desk. You had to call a number to voice your concerns. Parking was sketchy. The back of the property was too dark and the garbage trucks were very loud.
