La.location est parfaite avec tout le confort d'une bonne literie, très propre.. Les hôtes sont très gentils et donnent de bons conseils. A proximité du centre et du port d'où l'on peut se baigner.

The location was wonderful. Within walking distance to restaurants and shopping. Property was very well equipped. Host was wonderful. So helpful and friendly. His suggestions and advice really helped make our stay special.
The neighbor’s rooster crowed very early in the morning. Bring ear plugs.

This was our 2nd stay and it wonʻt be our last. This is a rustic, well appointed, one bedroom cottage sanctuary in a lush tropical valley, adjacent to, yet separate from, the ownerʻs home, ten minutes bicycle ride from Fare. This is for the DIY independent traveler. There are steep steps to the main bedroom, and you have to be able to ride a bicycle to town and back, on a rough road. Our gracious host, Smith, made us feel like we were honored guests in his own home, not just visitors. The valley contains many small farms, so you will hear dogs, cattle, pigs, roosters, horses, and chickens. Airport pickup and ferry dropoff. Stayed in May 2022 and 2023.
Nothing.

Smyth can speak fluently French and English, both him and Linda were absolutely fantastic.
Nice pick up and drop off at the airport, (XPF 2k) included in the price.
Lovely place in a charming setting.
Highly recommended to surf lovers.
Good location, close to everything you need.
We rented a scooter from Europcar with an appreciated discount thanks to a commercial agreement between them.
The wifi dropped a bit. We were absolutely fine with it, but maybe if a family comes with kids, it would be good to put the covers back on the fans. Also, a bit of soap for the shower would be nice, however, you can buy one at the store nearby, no issue. As much as the bikes are complimentary, it would be good to fix the saddle of one of them, and they are actually needed to get through the slightly bumpy road to get you down-town. A bit of cocks and dogs at the neighbours', but like everywhere in French Polynesia, so just put earplugs and you will sleep like a log. Maybe some annoying but totally harmless millipedes invaded the place at night, but we survived ;D, that is part of the wild aspect of Huahine that we actually came for, as opposed to the more urbanised islands! And do not worry with what I wrote, I am just being picky, this place is lovely and we will come back.

Smitty and Linda picked us up at the ferry and drove us to get our rental car- very convenient. They provided lots of information on things to do around the island. Frank’s is a short walk, bike or drive from everything in Fare- restaurants, beach, groceries. The cottage has a well equipped kitchen, outside covered dining area, a relaxing yard and friendly dog and cat. The neighborhood is real Huahine, not a Disneyfied over-water dream. We loved it!
The steep stairs to the bedroom are a little hard to negotiate in the middle of the night.

Great location, great space, great hosts. Everything you need - walkable but quiet, space for cooking, great bathroom. Awesome place. I will absolutely book again if (hopefully when!) I return to the island.

For us the location was spot on😊. Our cycle down the wee road to the village will stay with me for a very long time.
Possibly the bedroom could have been a little more air conditioned- but that said still loved it.

We got also another place close to the beach and Yacht club. Location was very nice. Bikes were available for free as well. Smitty also gave us some nice recommendations.
Unfortunately our host mixed up our booking, so we had to wait for his return. When he returned he paid a drink at the hotel nearby and got a bungalow close to the beach ready. Not sure about the real reason why "Franky's fare" was not available. He said it's the rain and road, but the road was as good as the one to the alternative location.
Further, the communication before the stay was a bit weird and unresponsive.

Nice location near the "city" with food options within biking distance. The cabin was beautiful and well-kept and we had a wonderful time exploring Huahine using Franky's Fare as our starting off point. Smith was super helpful, providing transport to and from the airport, and even helped us schedule and book some of our excursions. Highly recommended to anyone coming to Huahine.

Smithy is a lovely guy and more than happy to help you out with anything - be it a lift to your hire car, taking you to see the sunset on your first evening, help organise diving and loads of tips about the island.
The house is big considering it is just one bedroom! The kitchen had everything I needed and Smithy allowed me to do some much needed washing (after 2 weeks moving around!).
I found the noise of the cockerels woke me on the first night - but ear plugs worked a treat and I quickly became accustomed to them.
I'd recommend the place to anyone visiting Huahine! Thanks Smithy 😊

Smith was a great host. He is friendly and has great stories to share. He provided pick-up/drop-off from the airport and took us on a tour of Fare before bringing us to the bungalow. He even invited us over to a dinner party where we had an amazing home cooked meal.
The bungalow itself is basic but has everything you need and is comfortable for 2 people. We didn't use the kitchen but it seemed well stocked. The location itself is very convenient to the Main Street of Fare - bikes are free to use but walking only took 10 minutes.
Would love to stay here again next time we’re in Huahine!

Huahine was hands down one of the best experiences my husband and I had during our month long stay in French Polynesia and a huge part of that was because of our outstanding and amazing host Smitty. We loved this Fare, it was conveniently located 10 min walk from town, Yacht Club, and Fare Beach, bikes were offered, the surf decor was charming and it had everything we needed to prepare our meals and comfortably stay for our 1 week in Huahine. Also included was an extremely informative book of all the restaurants with menus, tours, activities, and local insight.
The Fare was set in a lush green background, we often sat in the front garden, where a bbq grill was offered for use and hung out with Franky (dog) and Billy (cat).
Smitty was above and beyond, he picked us up at the airport and pointed out all the must do's and must eats in Fare. Took us to the supermarket where we stocked up on breakfast items, snacks, produce and wine. Shows us the Yacht Club - for happy hour while watching the sunset - food was amazing, fresh, large portions and great prices! He helped us book tours, rent a car, met up with us a few times to mai thai and surf. He really introduced us to Huahine culture and the local community and made our trip to Huahine one of the most memorable and unique in all of our travels.

Great pick up from airport incl. little guiding of city, lovely house with nice garden, well equipped kitchen, big bathroom, free bikes for beach and city, fans in every room and mosquito net on every window.
Jocelyn and Smith are great. They gave us the feeling like being home. Thank you
The bed was comfortable but a little bit to soft for us.

Smith and Jocelyn gave us a warm welcome and were super helpful. The house in general and the kitchen in particular ate exceptionally well equipped - we had everything we needed and more ! We also loved the quaint beach house decoration and the lovely garden setting. Franks’s also offered a great opportunity to stay in an authentic local neighborhood, close to all commodities.
