Best home away from home.

Great location with easy access via the tram to all of the sites. The beds were so comfortable. Marc is such an accommodating host. Entire stay was beyond our expectations.

A clean, light and well-maintained place in a modern villa.

In town for the usual annual trip to IDFA, I chose to stay away from the centre, and Villa Yburg was a great choice: clean, private, with enough space to park, work and store stuff, and despite the distance, easily reachable by public transportation ... all in a very quiet and modern but still charming atmosphere.

The room is not huge (though the bathroom is!) but that's Amsterdam, and there's no need to climb the stairs. And it's a quiet neighbourhood so no nightlife, but that was the point here.

Great choice for us- close to the city center and very nice neighbourhood.

The property was very clean and close to the city center. We loved the calm neighbourhood and also that we had a supermarket close to the property.

Fabulous, we would definitely go back again!

It was really a pleasure for us to get back to Villa Yburg every day after our visits in the touristic, busy downtown. Our bed was huge and comfortable, our bathroom was dreamlike (and also huge), we simply loved the place - and also the warm welcome by Floris. The place has a fantastic location, quiet and relaxed, close to nature, but with very good public transport to the city center (by tram). We also discovered that there is a direct bus connection (66) to the Johan Cruyff ArenA which we appreciated as we visited a concert there.

We can't complain at all, we liked everything here!

Hosts were very friendly. Room was beautiful. Bathroom beautiful and spacious as well. Quiet neighbourhood.

Bit far from city centre. But it takes just under 20 minutes to get to central station by tram.

A perfect stay in a perfect property in a perfectly fascinating city!

Starting with the welcoming host Marc and his partner, Linda, who were real caring professionals, everything was PERFECT. Property was new and spotless. the room was quiet and comfortable. getting to Central Amsterdam by 26 tram was easy and efficient.

our only dislike is that we couldn’t stay longer and enjoy the property even more.

Quiet spacious retreat with easy access to Amsterdam centre

Excellent place to stay, quiet, very easy tram into town and bathroom of dreams. Hosts were very friendly. There is a shop within a few minutes' walking distance for snacks/drinks. Definitely would recommend.

No milk for coffee/teas and local shop shut early, only takes cash, so was caught out. Also would have liked privacy curtain as window faces other house windows. But these are very tiny details in a superb accommodation.

I suppose it’s outside of central Amsterdam so that was a little annoying but it is only 20 mins from central. but we knew it was outside of central so I suppose we cannot complain.

Very good

The location is beautiful, closest to the sea if you fancy a morning walk. Public transport is 5 mins away and we enjoyed our entire stay. The room and adjoining bathroom are very spacious, in fact ideal for a couple. The hosts are very warm and considerate and we went back home the most relaxed.

A shared kitchen is mentioned in the facilities but it is actually just the host's kitchen, so don't expect that facility although breakfast is served if asked for in advance for a fee.
