Desayuno igualmente exquisito.

Bungalow close to the street. Noisy.

Very rewarding to arrive off the bus from Tulum and walk into this place! Amazing room with private pool and shower looking out to the garden through wall window. Helpful and friendly staff, unbelievable communal pool at the front and lovely food! Very, very nice stay. Recommended.

In the middle of the jungle this wonderful nice, moderm and comfortable, private cabins. I had experience before that places don't look like the pictures and it is kind of disappointed. But this was not the case the place is better than all the pictures I saw. A very peaceful an amazing place everybody was very friendly and accomadate all our needs. We stay at one with our own pool and porch that looks into the jungle, we felt like we were in our own private world, able to hear the beautu of the birds in the area while relaxing watching all the amazing plabts that grow in that area. I didnt like that they had a Starbucks, when I believe the local coffe is better, but I complete understand how that can attract people, the restaurant was all cook for you at the moment and it was worth the wait. CHEF Jose does a great job presenting delicious traditional dishes in a more modern style. We love it so much that we ate there almost our whole stay. Wilfred, Luis, Ismael theybwere all friendly and ready to serve all our needs. My brother in law told them the ceiling fan was amking a weird noise and not turning on or something. Well we went out abd came back to find out a brand new ceiling fan installed in the room. That is what I said more than excelent services you guys get +100

Lovely holiday hotel with a great pool in Coba! On site restaurant had great food options which were beautifully presented. Large rooms with nice showers. Shout out to Victor who managed to flag us down a bus to Tulum on the main road which waited for us avoiding a pricey taxi!
Close for visiting the ruins and cenotes close by!
Unfortunately the hotel is at the side of the road which might bother you if you are a light sleeper.
Also I wouldn't recommend staying here if you don't have a car. It's a 20 minute walk into the centre of Coba which isn't enjoyable in the dark and there's stray dogs which follow/bark at you en route. It's also quite difficult to get public transport from Coba.

The staff are friendly.
The pool is too dirty that it is unusable. The vegetation is overgrown that getting too and from the room involved gymnastics. The property is very isolated from the town that having a meal out would involve a long dark walk along a high road.

Staff and location
Paid $300 for a room with a plunge pool that could not be used because it was dirty. I asked for it to be cleaned but was not done. Not worth the money.

Perfect location for a trip to the Coba ruins! I stayed in the suite with private pool; the pool was a little chilly but lovely. Lunch in the onsite restaurant was tasty.
Service was a little slow at times, but overall pleasant.

Beautiful, secluded hotel/grounds with amazing service. The hotel manager (Hugo) went "above & beyond" for us - especially after our Cenote/Maya ruins tour failed us, literally, the night before! He managed to find us a driver AND guide for all things we wanted to do and at less cost! And all this happened around midnight just hours before when we were scheduled to go! Just outstanding - whatever they're paying this guy, it simply isn't enough! Everyone was lovely - cannot recommend enough.
Obviously, it's a bit of effort to get all the way here (from Cancun)- but not a bad thing if you're looking to visit Chichén Itzá & some of the amazing Cenotes in the area. The restaurant was great, but you need potatoes - especially for breakfast! Either some home fries or hash browns; maybe papas fritas with lunch/dinner? But really, these are minor issues...

the room was clean and spacious
the hotel is right next to the street so you hear the cars and trucks passing by all the time. the staff is friendly but the place it’s not living up to a 4 star hotel. food is overpriced, no fridge in the room, restaurant closes at 5 pm and the pool is more decoration than something that is to be used.

beautiful retreat. very nice surroundings. we had the villa with private pool, which was absolutely worth it. vast shower, great beds. Great coffee (Starbucks) and very tasty food. Recommended!
absolutely nothing!

great environment, well designed resort, good quality food
minor point: there is a street nearby which impacts the rooms closer to the entrance

The hotel is located at the side of a nondescript jungle road that leads into the tiny town of Coba, but the unassuming location disguises a true gem of a hotel. It has elegant and serene grounds with a nice central pool, lush cultivated foliage, a delightful dining area, elegantly appointed rooms, and an attentive staff. We stayed in a unit with a private pool, which was amazing. Very large room, enormous bathroom with a huge glass-walled rain-head shower area, ceiling fan, fridge, a/c; then a patio with deck chairs, umbrella, and the small private pool. Dining was relaxing and service very nice. Food was good, breakfast was great, esp. the coffee - excellent cappuccinos! Staff were extremely diligent in wearing masks, which we appreciated. Parking was easy and shady out front.
Just minor things. The restaurant relies on its website for the menu - and when the server is not working you cannot see it. Our private pool was nice, but we had to fish out beetles and leaves - would have been easier with our own skimming net (would only have taken a moment). Certainly not a big deal.

great place for relaxing whilst exploring the beautiful Coba. staff was always smiling and friendly and made us feel welcome and looked after. food is great
internet connection is not suitable for working: this is a place for relaxing but unfortunately sometimes we need to work and even checking emails could be difficult if there are too many people connected.

the atmosphere is amazing and it is very calm and relaxing.the restaurant js very good and the staff is so nice and smiley
they should keep up a little bit more in terms of maintenance-the shower wasn’t working properly-and the hotel is too close to a main road

Fantastic hotel and staff, really nice setting and very closely located to the Coba ruins. The restaurant was excellent provided you ordered the right things - the breakfasts were magnificent and we particularly enjoyed the cervice and fajitas.
The room was great (we had one of the mini pool suites), and the bed was particularly firm and comfortable. One of the best beds I have ever slept on in a hotel!
A review of Aldea Coba wouldn't be complete without a note on the staff who were friendly and helpful throughout. Hugo and his team were informative and kind and made the whole experience fantastic. We were particularly appreciative of their information on cenotes which allowed us to visit one early in the morning which meant we had the whole cenote to ourself - just perfect. They also provided a cot which was ideal.
Easily fixed - Our little girl is at the crawling phase which made us realise that the bedroom floors could do with a really good scrub/mop - she had dirty hands and knees from crawling around the room a lot.
It would have been good to have greater clarity on what was included from the minibar. On departure we realised it was meant to be everything, but on the listing it only said 'bottle of water' so we ended up going out buying things we needn't have.

Very nice staff! Great food! Clean room and beautiful pool area.
Value for money could be better, overprized for what they offer but thats probably due to the location, very close to the ruins of Cobá.
If you have a room close to the main street, it can be very loud.

very peaceful and relaxing. great breakfast included

The hotel is very beautiful. The room is spacious, beautiful, comfortable. The private pool is set beautifully amid plants. We didn't use the shared pool, but it looked great too. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
Only downside was the shower, which didn't work well

We had a room with a private pool looking into the jungle and it was divine! Peaceful, clean and very comfortable.
The staff was helpful and the restaurant was perfect for dinner and breakfast.

We were certainly not expecting such a lovely place to stay at, hidden off the road from Coba... It offered a beautiful pool with lots of huge green trees & tropical jungle vegetation, we had a lovely bungalow, modern with a comfortable large bed & huge bathroom shower. The restaurant was great, we always had a lovely breakfast and to top it off there was a starbucks on the property and that was the coffee served with breakfast, a real treat after days of filter coffee offered from most hotels. Thank you so much Hugo u can be proud of your establishment! 🌟
The only thing we didn’t feel was acceptable was towards late afternoon on our second day a family with 4 kids showed up for supper. They weren’t guests of the hotel. They whole family used the pool and with that heat it was totally understandable but what wasn’t, understandable was that they jumped into the pool without a shower and with their clothes on. That is actually not excepted in any pool. Hugo, that has to do with hygiene and shouldn’t be allowed... what do u think? That was why I didn’t give full rating for cleanliness...hopefully in the future you check your bathing guests, make sure they wear proper swimming suits

Beautifully stylish super private accommodation. We slept with all the sliding doors and widows open with only the insect screening and it was a treat to listen to the sounds of nature all night. Attentive, very helpful and friendly staff. Excellent food. They also have a couple of bicycles guests can use to explore the local area ang go the the ruins. Highly recommended.
There was nothing we didn't like, we were there during a tropical depression, so it mostly rained in a Monsoon-like way, but the place is magical, in any weather

We enjoyed a lot, staff is very nice and supportive. Good food and coffee on site
