Gutes Essen, nettes Personal, schöner Strand Bereich. Viele Tiere in der Anlage. Haben viele Agutis, Affen und Leguane gesehen 🙂. Viel Auswahl beim Essen und den getränken inklusive
Teilweise sehr Laute Musik beim Pool in meernähe. Essenssaal etwas dunkel und Speisesaal Charakter.

La ubicación súper bien, la playa hermosa como la de las fotos, la comida basta y de excelente sabor, las habitaciones súper cómodas.
No había servicio en la playa de bebidas y alimentos, solo tenían una zona para las toallas de playa. La entrega de habitación fue muy tardado.

I liked the fact that it was close to the sea, that was it, along with one or two friendly members of staff
This was touted as ‘all inclusive,’ when in reality what it offered was very very cheap buffet food with limited possibility to reserve the three ‘speciality restaurants.’
From the point of check in with the clueless staff taking forever to do anything, then not explaining anything to us regarding what was available or even the info around the meals, the whole experience was worse than the grimmest Butlin’s holiday camp.
The buffet food was bland, limited and with cheap processed meat (apart from the chicken).
The alcohol was extremely watered down to the point that the staff even laughed at the quality of it.
The room itself had a noisy clanging AC unit that was reported to the uninterested reception staff along with the non working TV.
The place was a shambles masquerading as anything above 2 star.
A complete and utter rip off with no customer service at all.

There is food in abundance, but not the best quality.
Receptionists. How can a big hotel have those receptionists?
Three males; all of them angry and lazy, everything makes them unhappy, even the hotel's faults.
Our room never had hot water, they were angry because we asked them to fix it. It was never fixed. They were angry from the beginning until the end. We concluded they hate their jobs.
This hotel looks old. We wouldn't come back at half the price.
It is impossible to give this hotel a good recommendation.

Room had a leak, housekeeping did not clean the room as requested, information in the brochure was inaccurate, telephone did not work nor was repaired when reported, reservations for specialty dinning was not available via phone or reception, only one hour per day is not acceptable, bar ran out of glasses various times so the food during peak hours, some staff was not friendly

Great beach front location, lush gardens and exotic wildlife, good water sport activities.
Rooms smelt musty and unpleasant, clothes felt damp in wardrobe. Water coming through the ceiling in one room. Food was average .

If you want a budget friendly vacation that still provides beautiful accommodations, then stay here. I’ve stayed here 3 times now in the last 18 months. What I like is that it’s affordable, the location cannot get better & the staff are incredibly welcoming and kind. The food was tolerable. Some nights it was great, other nights not so much. I did enjoy the breakfast as it was simple and had a nice variety. The location is only a 10$ cab ride to Fifth Avenue and takes about 3–5 minutes. The drinks are also good and the bartenders will treat you like family. I am looking forward to visiting again!

The location was amazing and the beach was truly breathtaking. It is the best beach experience I’ve ever had.
The check in process took about 4 hours, which is outrageous. The A/C was not working in my room, neither was the shower. The door’s strike plate broke and the door wouldn’t close. We asked for a queen or king bed in our double room but instead got two full beds. The mini fridge was not working either. The food was truly underwhelming, even for a cheap all inclusive. The staff kept enforcing the dress code on me and my group but yet let others walk around clearly violating it. I had stayed the previous week at a different all inclusive which was miles better, and it was only around a 15 dollar difference per night.

The bed it self had bedbugs and had to be change to a different room. On top of the front desk was only open 9-10:05 to make reservations for dinner. Couldn’t book dinner for other nights. Only able to book for on date of booking .
Beside the bed bugs , dinner reservations were hard to get due to the fact the front desk to book dinner was only open from 8 AM to 10:05 AM.there was always a line you couldn’t book for future dates you had to book on the day of you wanting to request to die for dinner. Staff tired to over sale packages for activities, while dining for lunch. Big inconvenience

Waiters and bar tenders as well as entertainers were very motivated and friendly. Buffet was varied and tasty! Beds comfortable and big. Beach directly at the hotel. There is an activities program with lots of fun stuff. All in all very clean apart from tap water.
Tap water very dirty, oftentimes sand coming out. AC working sporadically. On day two the ceiling started dripping, stopped a few days after reporting it at the reception. Door lock had a malfunction but was quickly repaired. Booking tours with the hotel would've been significantly more expensive than booking externally.

I loved the size of the resort and my room's proximity to the beach. The resort was easily walkable and the grounds were green and lush. The beach front, sand, and palm trees for shade were all perfect. We never had to work that hard for chairs, even with a large group. The beach was kept clean and organized by the staff. The staff was wonderful. Kind, friendly and attentive. Bartenders and drinks were great, food either met or exceeded expectations almost all the time. We went out dancing three nights at the club and had a great time. I like that the DJ quickly accommodated requests. During breakfast I loved the chilaquiles, omelets and juice. During lunch my favorites were usually the more Mexican foods, including fish and other meats in delicious sauces. We got wonderful massages at the spa and went parasailing, which was amazing.
I wish our bracelets were more like a watch style, because they often fell off which made me nervous about the $100 fine. I thought the process for requesting dinner reservations was overly cumbersome. It was annoying to have to wait in line during the middle of the day. We were also told multiple times that they wouldn't be able to accommodate us at certain times, especially with a larger group (8) but then the restaurant would never be more than half full. It would have been easier just to come at opening and be told what your wait would be, or potentially request through an app. The food at the Asian restaurant was my least favorite of the trip, especially the sushi. There is a lot of room for improvement there.

Great smaller resort with beautiful beach. The staff was great. Just some of the wonderful staff we connected with were Abel, Israel, Bernardo, Fausto. We enjoyed the beach, pool, night club & evening entertainment.
The signup for dinner could be more efficient. Waiting in line daily when you could be at the beach wasn’t fun. There were some small improvement that could be made to make the rooms more functional including shower heads that stayed in place and replacement of lights.

We could only like two things in this hotel - the territory, it is beautiful and well-groomed, and the food, it is of quality and tasty and varied compared to other hotels. This is honesty good. For New Year were even the lobsters for the dinner.
For many years I never wrote reviews in booking, especially negative ones, there was no reason. Everything was always in order. But this time I am obliged to write to prevent people not to reserve this hotel. 1) terrible rooms. There was NO water flush in the room. It means that , you can not brush your teeth normally, nor take a shower - you would not be able to do. Photo attached. Water stood all night and all day like that even after we said it to reception - no reaction. We spent only one night in this hotel, but it was enough for us. I do not understand how people live in it for two weeks without the opportunity to wash:))). This is the first time I see this in my life in the hotel 4 stars all inclus and for not small money. 2) Second - when we came to beach - it was NO towels:))) The reception said that it was bla bla - "finished, not ready etc", imagine??? this in 4 stars hotel all inclusive??? All the people who came to take towels on 01.01.2023 - didnt have this:) and of course people didnt take it from home - you imagine how "comfortable"was to stay on beach beds without towels. 3) VERY DIRTY BEACH and entrance in the sea. the staff does not clean the beach from algae absolutely. On the beach of hotel Allegro was not possible to swim. The situations saved the hotels Wihdhams just near where we went to swim and where the beaches were VERY clean (on the same day 01.01.2023 ok). So, it was like that. I dont recommend this hotel to people and I want to make reclamation in booking to receive my money back.

We loved the bungalow style rooms. Each room is in a 2 storey bungalow with 8 units, so it has a quaint vibe. There is lots of green space and gardens all around with wildlife! Spiny tailed iguanas, agoutis, and ring tailed coaties! It was just lovely! The pool right by the ocean is great! This section of beach is one of the best along the whole beach with lots of sand and beautiful palm trees. We thought the food was great and there were always options for our picky 3 year old.
Overall our family loved it!
It's an older resort so some of the rooms have some issues. Our room flooded when we took a shower. We heard other rooms had broken TVs or refrigerators. But you have to consider what's important to you. We looooved the bungalow vibe and lots of green space with native wildlife. So for us a run down room doesn't outweigh the loveliness of the place. But for others it would.
I was annoyed that the kids club said it was open every day, but it wasn't. They would just put up a sign saying "We're at the beach" but me and the kids searched the beach high and low and they were not there! We were there during non peak season, so the kids club was open on the weekend, but then had a permanent "we're at the beach" sign on the week days. Maybe they run it more regularly during school holidays.

Was a struggle to get things fixed: electronic door lock, balcony lights, warm water - no Essen water every second day. I went about 10 times to the reception for all of these pains.
