Siisti huone
Kaikki oli hyvin. Ei moitittavaa

I am so disappointed and annoyed by booking this hotel.
In general, hotels in Eindhoven leave lots to be desired for the price they charge but having spent 300 eur on a ‚luxury’ hotel, I am angry.
First things first: the bed. When I came in, I was negatively surprised to see a double bed (two beds put together) versus a queen/king one. In my head, I said to myself ‚Ok, probably not gonna stay here again’ as it’s a very uncomfortable set up to sleep on. But they had no other options in the whole hotel. Fine, my bad.
But the hardness of the mattress is another level bad. Mind you, I’ve been buying hard mattresses all my life but this one just kills me. Immediate hip and back pain the next day + as a result of this ‚luxury’, I am going to be tired second day in a row (spending two terrible nights here).
That’s not very great on a busy work trip. I can’t wait to leave this place.
Then there’s the problem of cleanliness. Right upon entry, I’ve noticed dirty liquid stains on the floor. Good thing I took slippers with me - there were more stains in the room and the bathroom on the floor.
The sink had discoloration which I discovered I could partially remove myself - meaning it has not been cleaned with a detergent. Alright…not sure a ‚luxury’ hotel should be like this.
As for the room decor or size, I honestly don’t care that much - yes, it’s pretty and maybe not super large but it’s the basics such as cleanliness and comfort that were not there and matter most.
Now on to the best part - the shower. During the first night, it flooded the whole bathroom. I had lots of ‚fun’ cleaning it while tired as hell from my trip. No phone in the room meant I had to get dressed again and go downstairs to the reception to ask for help. The nice person told me they were fully booked (interesting seeing how I could find a free room on the Booking app) and…GAVE ME TOWELS TO CLEAN IT.

Originele locatie, super netjes.
Weinig op aan te merken.
Kleine tip misschien om water op de kamer te voorzien en wat meer licht in de badkamer.
Het ontbijt was goed in orde maar wel krappe doorgang…

Impressive hotel in a converted monastery with plenty of rooms and stairs and artful decorations. Sometimes the number of stairs and steps can be a bit challenging, but there are lifts available. Breakfast was plentiful with a wide range of options and good coffee.
Dazzling steps in the stairwells. Would be good to provide a pair of sliders to put on your feet while in your room. A few more options to hang up wet clothes in the bathroom.

absolutely nothing!

Excellent hotel in a great location. The hotel was clean and the staff was welcoming and friendly
The breakfast is exceptionally overpriced and not worth the money (35 euro per person).
The hotel really needs to do something about that.

Great location, great hotel, great room, great staff - what a wonderful place to stay. The hotel is located is almost in the city centre, so everything is in the walking distance. Very clean room, impeccable bed sheets and the bathroom is sparkling clean.
In the room we were staying the windows face the internal atrium, so there was no fresh air from the street and we had to rely on the air conditioning system. They have rooms with the windows facing the street, but we wanted to be in this particular room as it was looking so great! Otherwise, it's just an unforgettable place to stay.

lovely place. fantastic food.

We love the modern feel in such an old.building. with the approximity of a wel secured garage and the perfect location of the city centre, this hotel doesn't feel like an normal hotel, it feels more like an experience. Super compfi beds and clever room lay outs, with a less is more approach.
It's an old building, and although everything is done to keep noise out, you can still here some footsteps in the hall or someone laughing above you....it's old walls and ceilings are high and mighty and tell tales, there is life there.

design and comfort and parking
didn’t explain properly where the parking was and we parked in the car park opposite thinking that was the car park and then got charged for their car park apparently around the back. they did refund us so it wasn’t a problem. but staff a little thoughtless and impersonal ..

Everything is simply stunning
The whole concept of having a hote in old monestery, and in city center, it’s simply amazing!
Helpful staff, close to town center, comfortable rooms, everything was spot on!

This is a hotel in a former convent, located in a very quiet area, not far from the centre of the city. You will find some Bible themes used for the design here and there... My room was also super-calm, very comfortable, with a huge bathroom, a high ceiling (as in a convent..), perfectly clean. A small fridge in the room, helpful staff.
The variety of choice for breakfast is not great, pretty dull. One gets a voucher for each breakfast and I was asked by reception to report the time that I wished to have breakfast for each day, but than it proved not necessary, and in fact one may come down for breakfast at one's convenience. So, why the fuss?
A former church belongs to the hotel complex, and when I was there there was a techno party in-there. Occasional noises could be heard until 1 p.m. but the hotel warned and apologised about it, to be fair.

I liked the look of the hotel and the location, it was also very clean. I liked that it was in an old church. The tower of the hotel is visible from town so you know which way is "home" during your stay.
The hotel is huge and it takes a while to get to your room walking through the hotel, there are alternative entrances to the hotel that could get you closer to your room, but that wasn't said to us at check in. We didn't mind because at least we could explore the hotel. The hotel was also just really hot inside, but the air-conditioning in the rooms can be set so also not an issue. It's just a hot walk to your room.
4.5
The hotel is very nice, big and comfortable. Modern rooms. Great WiFi. We have also enjoyed the hotel Brasseria for a business dinner.
Only the navigation to a parking lot which is a few hundred meters away could have been sent in advance and better.
