About this house rental
You're relaxing vacation begins the minute you walk in the door! With many new updates in this house you will never know that you are in the quaint and historic part of Mission Beach. This property sits on Mission Bay Boardwalk, overlooking the sandy beach and sail boats docked in the water. Walk one block to the opposite side of the peninsula to enjoy waves and our classic San Diego sunsets.
Newly renovated and designed rooms make this property the perfect home away from home. The patio is right on the beach front just a few steps from the sand! The kitchen has upgraded appliances and is stocked for meal preparation, dining and entertaining. The living room is equipped with a smart TV and cable! Doors and windows open right up to the patio and Mission Bay and the boardwalk. Enjoy your morning cup of coffee outside for perfect people watching! After an amazing day on the sand or thrilling rides at Belmont Park you can head out to the patio for “dinner alfresco” and grill up on the outdoor gas BBQ. Please note, the first level does not have central air conditioning. Only the second and third levels have central air conditioning.
Walk upstairs to the second level guest rooms and full guest bath with a tub, great for soaking the sand off. The bedrooms each have access to the shared balcony. The first guest room has a queen bed and its own smart TV. The second guest room has a bunk bed, with a queen bed bottom bunk and twin bed on the top bunk. There’s also a twin size floor mattress underneath the bunk beds and smart TV in this room as well!
The master bedroom suite occupies the entire third floor. With a king size bed and floor to ceiling windows you will never want to leave! The master bath has a separate standing shower and soaking tub as well. You will love how big this space is, great for parents with little ones to be together. There is also a private balcony looking over the bay.
Some extra features of this unit that will make for an awesome vacation are the dual pane windows that will make it quiet and cozy for your vacation nights and the rare beach feature of A/C will keep you cool while you sleep the night away! The garage fits two cars, has washer and dryer, stand up paddle board, boogie boards, beach chairs and beach toys!

NOISE/NO PARTIES: Quiet hours are strictly enforced, 10 pm – 8 am per city ordinance. This property has ZERO TOLERANCE for noise, parties or loud music which includes any excessive daytime noise, cursing, yelling or screaming. Fines will be applied for complaints. Drinking games of any kind ie: beer die, pong, funnels etc. and music that is audible past the property line are strictly prohibited. Immediate eviction can result if these rules are broken.
San Diego Municipal Code 59.5.0502 states that at all times; any amplified sound that can be heard 50 feet away from the rented residence is prohibited. Between 10 PM and 8 AM, even normal conversation must be moved inside the rented residence. Per SDMC 51.1004 and California Penal Code 415.2 noise violations can result in fines (Up to $1,000) for property owners and Renters if there are repeated calls for noise violations to one address. Renters will be liable for any and ALL noise violation fines charged to the property owner. Excessive Noise disruptions can result in immediate eviction without the right to a refund of rental fees or security deposits.
Drugs/ Alcohol: Use of illegal/illicit drugs by any Renter, Guest, Occupant or Visitor in or on the grounds is strictly prohibited. Consumption of alcoholic beverages by a minor under 21 years of age is strictly prohibited.
No Smoking of ANY kind: This is a non-smoking property, both in and on the property. A fee of $1,000.00 will be charged for violation of this rule, plus any costs incurred to remove smoke odor or damage. Smoking includes but is not limited to: cigarette, cigar, marajuana, cocaine, incense, or vaping. While Marajuana is legal in the state of California it is NOT allowed on this property.
Properties are subject to exterior patrol by our staff and homeowner. If Renters are causing a nuisance, having a party, acting detrimentally toward the property, breaking the noise curfew or any stated rules and regulations we reserve the right to terminate the rental agreement, without refund, and immediately remove Renters and guests from the property. Absolutely no disturbances are allowed within this home or anywhere on the property premises. We also reserve the right to refuse occupancy if a house party is suspected.
Our neighbors are very, very sensitive to vacation rentals as it affects their right to live in a peaceful environment therefore we will enforce these policies in exchange for the privilege of renting this home as a vacation rental. The City of San Diego has adopted stricter guidelines for vacation properties and bad operators will not be allowed to rent their homes. If the actions of the Renter and their guests are detrimental to our right to rent as a vacation rental we reserve the right to evict and retain any rental fees and/or security deposits and will report abuse to the rental platforms and will take legal action against Renter if their behavior results in loss of permits.
Guest Occupancy:
Occupancy: The maximum occupancy for this Rental Agreement shall not exceed the number stated on the reservation. Only primary Renter and guests accounted for on the reservation are allowed to be on the property.
Age Restrictions: Primary Renter must be 25 years or older. Guests must be 25 years or older. Parents and children excluded.
No Subletting: If Renter can not keep the reservation please alert us as soon as possible so we can assist in re-renting the unit. If the unit is not re-rented and at the rate of the current reservation Renter will not be refunded their rental fees.
Damages: Renter will leave property in good order.
Damage Fee does not cover excessive cleaning; including but not limited to overflowing trash, carpet or upholstery steam cleaning, Linen Damage (Sheets, Blankets and Comforters damaged from, but not limited to, tearing, food, blood or other bodily fluids and will incur full replacement value charges) or damage due to pets, parties or excessive guests in the unit.
If excessive cleaning is needed, Renter will be charged $100/hour, or actual charges, whichever is greater.If area carpets are excessively dirty after check out Renter will be charged a $300 fee for carpet cleaning or full replacement value PLUS any loss in rental income at $500/night.
NO DAILY MAID SERVICE: Daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. The cleaning fee referenced above shall be applied to the cleaning service after check out. If daily maid service is desired it can be arranged for an additional daily fee.
Missing or damaged items will be charged at full replacement cost.

I stay every year with my family of 7 in SD. So far, this is our favorite house to stay in. I love the bay side of SD, as the Oceanside is just too loud and populated. The garage was big enough to house our minivan, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the location was close enough to entertainment, restaurants, and Balboa Park. It was a great stay. We will come back.

Perfect location for spending time with our 3 year old grandson. Great selection of sand toys, life jackets, paddle boards and chairs. Easy walk to 2 different resorts. Really appreciated not having to pack all those extras. Really quiet at night. Manager was very quick to respond to a wi-fi problem which was fixed right away.

We had a fantastic time in this 3 level home on the Bay! The views from all bedrooms were spectacular! The house was fully equipped with all the beach chairs, kids toys and boogie boards plus 2 paddle boards. Our kids had a blast and so did we! You can walk 2 minutes to get to the beach to watch sunset too! Perfect location, much calmer than other side of bay! Everything was great, but I would suggest getting Netflix fire sticks for the TVs. It was local cable with barely any channels. We had to screw the handles on the pots and pans so they didn't break completely. Other than that it was amazing!!

The house was pretty great, very comfortable. It came with everything we needed and more. Lots of sand toys, two paddleboards, and everything you need inside. The location was more than awesome, and the perfect weather was free!! We’d go back in a second.

A great place! The location was perfect the views were great and I was able to try Paddle Boarding for the first time. Truly an enjoyable stay.

The picture and information on the web is accurate to what we found. Kitchen is well equipped. Well stocked with paddle boards, toys, beach chairs etc. Clean with lots of room and comfy beads and good bathrooms. We would definitely book again.

This is a great property! We were looking for a calm property to just relax and this place was excellent. Directly on the bay, easy parking and rooms were a great size. This was our first family vacation so I was really nervous with our little kids but property made us feel right at home.

This property is in a great location on the bay side. It’s in a quiet area and there are several restaurants and stores in walking distance. We enjoyed staying on the bay side since it has less foot traffic and over all busyness. We enjoyed being steps away from the water and being able to enjoy the sand in front of our house. The house was fully stocked with everything you need - beach towels, toys and chairs, kitchen utensils galore and extra bedding and pillows too. It’s three stories so inside the house is quiet too. It’s a great spot for families - we will being booking again.

This was perfect. I would definitely stay here again. Accommodations were extremely clean and spacious. Location was perfect. Right on the bay and a block from the open ocean. Check-in could not have been smoother!

We had nice weather in November not hot or warm but comfortable as we expected, enjoyed SD very much! The garage is very small, do not take a huge SUV. We have a MBenz GLC 300 and a Nissan Altima and they fit well. Our 6 yr old daughter was in heaven playing in the sand when she wanted as it was walking distance and us parents loved that! Space was great with a nice view. It was perfect for our family we would rent again!

I want to start by saying the house is great, view is gorgeous, the property managers could not have been better, and there is a lot to love about this property. One thing that is really important to know that you might not glean from the pictures is just how busy the sidewalk between you and the beach is. Lots of walkers, joggers, bikers, etc. even when the beach itself is empty. When we were there, it was a massive covid surge and maybe 20% of those people wore masks. Totally empty and fine near the water and again, the house itself is great, but if you have high risk folks in your group or just don’t want to be that close to that many people even without a pandemic I would recommend a different property. The property managers have multiple houses and they are fantastic and responsive so check in with them if you don’t want crowds.

We loved our one week Flexcation in San Diego at this place. The house is much bigger than it looks in the pictures. The views are beautiful. We loved waking up to beautiful sunrise in the morning with a picturesque view of the boats and kayaks in the bay. Getting a run in later in the morning to the beach was equally great experience. Loved having mimosas in the porch and doing BBQ in the afternoons. The bayside was quiet to get work in during the weekdays. Downtown, Old Town, La Jolla and Sunset Cliffs are all within 30 min. distance from this place. We'll be back for another stay here next year!

Nice place. Great location for families with young kids looking for a relaxing beach experience. We could sit on the patio and watch the kids play in the sand across the boardwalk. The ocean was just a quick walk when the kids wanted to play in the waves. Kid-friendly set up and decor, and includes 2 baby gates for the stairs. Overall, a great experience.

When searching this house had everything I wanted. Ground floor patio w/bbq, balconies, close parking for friends and family, easy walk to beach side,steps to paddle board, along with a great house. The master bedroom and bath are amazing. The kitchen was stocked well with all you would need. This was the only thing I worried about. On the sight there is no real pictures of the kitchen. I was worried it would be to small. It was good sized with real nice appliances. I would definitely stay here again and recommend this house.

We absolutely loved our stay here. Our family will be back every year if possible. The house is beautiful and the pictures don't do it justice. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could need. Very comfortable furniture and beds so many beach chairs are toys for the kids. Perfect vacation!!!

We picked the perfect week to go to San Diego. The property is right on the bay. Great location for family with young children. The bay is calm and quiet. Beautiful sunrise from this side. Walking distance to the Aquatic center and Mission Bay Sports center if you want to rent kayaks or paddle boards. The beach is a few blocks on the other side. Much more activity on that side especially if you’re looking for waves to surf or a night life. The property is 3 stories, lots of linens and beach towels. Plenty of beach chairs, umbrella, beach toys, and a few boogie boards. Parking is tandem and can fit two small car. We have a Toyota Sienna, it was tight. Kitchen is on the smaller side but not bad. Basic pots and pans available. All in all a great location. Will definitely book again.
