Great time, would stay again.

Lovely pool area with beach access. Lobby was well decorated. Offer free wellness activities to hotel guests!

Overall really enjoyed our stay and great value for money. Some parts of the property could use a bit of an update but overall nice.

It just wasn't meant to be

Nice beach on front of the hotel View from the balcony

I am still trying to figure out where the title wellness resort comes from. They have one pool (and one private one). Gym - under construction. Wellness offerings: none The room was not available after check in time - where some hotels would offer a complimentary drink for the wait, nothing here We d booked a room with two beds for three nights - which was not available either. So we got an upgrade for one night and were left without a room for a few hours the next day. I asked for a complimentary breakfast for the inconvenience having to change rooms. Response: you got an upgrade. Yes, we did. But only because our room was not available in the first place..? They only wanted to give us one room key as we were only staying for one night.. (same game was repeated when we changed rooms) Wifi password was only provided upon request It was a hassle to get the big duvet changed as we were ok with sharing a bed for one night but not a duvet. They finally got it sorted once I pointed out that we are not a couple and not ok to share a duvet The water in the bathtub didn't drain Don't expect to get a pool towel - especially after 4pm as they run out by then The carpet in the new room was not laid & fixed properly The milky glaswall towards the bathroom and not properly closing & fitted sliding doors were not ideal They tried to be fancy with the light switch control - these could only be accessed from one bed though Overall a disappointing experience due to not friendly and accommodating staff and very bad organization skills. Hostels are more friendly and customer focused. I d save my money on this one

Great

Great staff, breakfast, located directly on the beach with the Lamai beach nearby. Pool has a great roof deck covered area for the hot summer months.

The air-conditioning system can be improved.

Location is Nice, staff was really friendly

They should invest in more sunbeds. Each Morning a towel ‘fight’ to get sunbeds. Only 8-10 in Swimmingpool and a few on the beach, without matras.

Unwellness resort would be a better name

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Beautiful view of the sea and garden. Their restaurant, breakfast, and the restaurant staff is truly exceptional!!!

The room. Absolutely the worst we’ve ever experienced in a hotel. For the expensive price, it was just appalling. Really very poorly finished. Airconditioning was very old and poorly maintained. We entered the room at 31 degrees Celcius. Airco was not working properly so had to run all day to get to 26 degrees, then all day and night non-stop just to keep it at a still unacceptable temperature. And then the kingsize bed… really.. the absolute worst bed we have ever had to sleep in. As hard as rock! Sleeping on the floor would be more comfortable. Me and my wife both left this hotel after 4 nights of no sleep and severe back pain.

Wij hebben een fantastisch verblijf gehad in Samaya welness resort. Dit mede door het ontzettende vriendelijke personeel

De kamers zijn net gerenoveerd en het hotel is weer geopend sinds eind december. De kamers zijn prachtig en van alle gemakken voorzien. Het ontbijt is gezond, afwisselend en voor ieder wat wils. Het personeel is uiterst vriendelijk en ze doen er alles aan om je verblijf fantastisch te maken! Lunch en diner in het restaurant zijn ook zeker aan te raden!

Wij vonden persoonlijk de bedden erg hard.

Mooi resort en vriendelijke personeel

Het personeel was onwijs vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het zwembad met uitzicht op het strand was heel mooi.

De bedden waren onwijs hard. Het personeel heeft heel vriendelijk nog geprobeerd het op te lossen maar het heeft minimaal geholpen helaas.

Great value, very enjoyable.

The room was comfortable and clean with beautiful garden, pool and sea views from window and balcony. Staff were extremely helpful in reception and special mention for friendly bar and restaurant staff. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Value for money.

There were some teething problems on arrival but these were sorted quickly. Seemingly hotel had just reopened after partial renovation. Still operating under further upgrades but main part of hotel functioning without too much disturbance. Have to say the bed was very hard.

Disappointing given the price tag and what you get in reality.

Location and proximity to the beach

The property was really old , there we non stop building activities going on. In addition to this decay was very obvious , things were falling apart , very poor WiFi and very poor breakfast.

The location and staff

It’s a little rundown, it needs a licker paint also needs some of the wood bridges repairing the bed by the pool were plastic and uncomfortable there’s no cushions so not ideal to lie on for any length of time.

Super schöner Aufenthalt

Wir hatten ein Deluxe Doppelzimmer mit Meerblick, was sehr modern eingerichtet war. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Der ausreichende Pool war direkt am Strand gelegen. Dadurch war der Blick natürlich einmalig. Wir haben uns sehr wohl und gut aufgehoben gefühlt.

Für unsere Verhältnisse waren die Betten zu hart. Dennoch hat jeder ein eigenes empfinden.

Die Zimmer waren sehr modern eingerichtet und sauber gehalten. Von unserem Balkon hatten wir einen Blick aufs Meer? Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Anlage im gesamten ist sehr sauber.

location on the busy road, no bar, no restaurant, feels a bit dead. The best is nice but the sea is not engaging for swimming

My experience of the hotel is like being blind folded and putting my hand in a box full of prizes and I was lucky to pick the jackpot prize

Exceptional

Staff were super helpful! Our room was very hot the afternoon we arrived, but they insisted on changing our room for us when we established our aircon wasn't working.

The shower heads were a bit odd and pointed into random directions (E.G the wall at the opposite end of the shower 🤣)

Go for it!

The view out of the hotel everyday was just stunning! The staff was outstanding, extremely nice, super helpful and whatever we needed or had a request with, they made it work! we stayed for 2 weeks there at the end and extended our stay, because we were happy with everything. The pool with the view straight to the ocean goes well with the Happy Hour ;) the beds are super clean, big and comfortable. There is a supermarket on the other side of the street and different restaurants around the hotel. You have to walk a little bit to the city center or take a cheap taxi, but that was fine for us as we preferred a quite environment and then going to what ever place we want to :) highly recommended

If I have to find something that could be improved is maybe a little renovation in some areas would make it look even nicer!

Had a good time in Lamai but wouldn’t stay at this accommodation again.

The staff were extremely helpful, they would go out of their way to make sure we were happy.

The hotel is very tired and in need of updating and maintenance. Although the rooms and general areas are clean the whole is in need of a deep clean. The pool area has very few sunbeds and they are very shabby as were the parasols. Breakfast was ok but limited on choice.

Very friendly staff and private pool worth paying extra for.

Location a bit far from town, needed a taxi. Room excellent, private pool was gorgeous. All staff were very friendly and some spoke good English.

Restaurant close too early No reception staff after 7pm. Buffet breakfast was good but not great. Lunch was very good.

Excellent 4 star hotel, and great value in time of COVID pandemic

Spacious suite! Great ocean view. Staff works hard to help guests with any problems.

Glass bathroom shower enclosure doors are dangerous, also no handgrip in shower, no small shelf to put shower creme bottles. The swimming pool too small for swimming laps. Fitness room equipment old and in disrepair, needs renovation of fitness room, new equipment. Also need cushions for balcony wood recliner chairs.

Excellent stay. Recommended.

Great hotel. Staff is super! Pools are lovely. Views are great. Would come back. Rooms are very nice.

About the only thing that can be improved is the mattress, which could be better quality. Also, on Friday nite the Blu Beach Club next door does an Ark Bar volume party till 12:30am. It can be heard throughout the property, but especially on the north side.
