Proximity to township

Always a nice room and location
Cost of a glass of wine $17 - outrageous
Really disappointed with that
There are no cafes or bar near by
I usually have a wine in the late arvo
But no more…

Cosy, clean and a great view
The gym was on the small side but that would be only slight negative I could think of

Very large room. Lovely finishes
Absolutely no outlook from the room, which was quite dark. my fault for not checking on that I guess.

Room was lovely, views incredible, kitchenette great, bed comfy and large room for 2.
The "pull out" was a single sofa that was extremely soft and set up to sleep right next to the cold window, leaving my mum & I coming home to Sydney to return to work sick. Leaving this so the team could maybe alter this set up for future guests.

地理位置优越!早餐挺丰盛,晚餐也不错👍
小冰箱不能放冷冻食品,例如冰淇淋之类甜品。

Nice hotel with nice rooms. Bar and restaurant with beautiful view. Comfy beds.
Everything was fine but if you find it hard to walk it is good to know that the hotel is up on a hill.

The hotel has a lovely ambiance. Rooms are spacious and warm. The restaurant+bar has an insane view of the mountains. The lobby has a massive fireplace surrounded by high-backed reading chairs.
My wife and I thank you so much Nate for the quick little chats and travel tips, you kept us entertained most afternoons and we kept you busy. You are an awesome bartender 😀. Adios, See you next time.
The hotel is located in the middle of a steep hill. And if you go down the hill, you have to come up the hill to go back to the hotel.
3.5
The hotel is perched on a hill above the lake in Queenstown with a beautiful view. Unfortunately, even with a very spacious and comfortable room, the window was so small that it felt a bit like living in a cave...with such an awe-inspiring landscape, I would have wanted a much larger window. The hotel has many amenities and is one of the more upscale properties in Queenstown. They pay attention to environmental concerns an provide a voucher for use in the bar/lounge for those who don't insist on having towels changed every day. It was a very comfortable room, but given the $500+ per night pricetag, not great value.
There was mass confusion when settling the bill. My husband paid with his credit card. A day later I get a phone call saying the payment didn't go through, even though he had a receipt to prove it. They insisted on taking my credit card for payment. As it turned out, my husband's payment HAD gone through, which they did end up reversing, but it was a lot of phone calls back and forth for nothing. Frustrating.

View of mountains
Our bathroom had a terrible smell that came from the drain in the shower. Housekeeping fixed but evidently it is a frequent problem.

Not much about this property stood out as 5-star. I discussed the issues with the hotel Manager but would find it hard to recommend.
Booked for 3 pax, but got a room with one bed. Staff oddly didn't accept it as their error nor understand the issue even suggesting the bed be split/shared - huh? In the end it was suggested I pay the extra for a wirey old trundler bed (for the 3rd person) or a room upgrade which I naturally objected to. Lots of blaming booking.com but I stood my ground that it's not the customer's problem.
While I received an adequate response from senior hotel manager, the whole dealing with two poorly trained/lingustically challenged front desk staff ruined the experience.
Add to that, our room was very dark, dated and overlooking a big air-con unit yet so expensive. Certainly not worth the huge price tag. I've stayed in alot of a 5-star properties abroad and this property is not 5-star.
On a positive note, St Moritz restaurant/lake view dining is elegant and their location ideal.

The location of the hotel and the view from balcony
We were given a wine bottle on first day as a compliment to compensate for our blockage of balcony due to renovation work. The bottle was used only 10 percent. On our request hotel obliged us and changed our room with a balcony with a clear opening and view.
As the luggage was shifted I enquired about the wine bottle, the housekeeping staff said they have removed it which I found very surprising. I didn't like this behaviour of the staff.
Rest all was good

The rooms were large and well furnished, including a small kitchenette. The breakfast was delicious and views over the lake and mountains were outstanding. We will be back for sure!
We couldn’t stay longer.

It was very clean and staff were very helpful and pleasant. The beds were comfy as too.
The room was a little dark even with the lights on and a little small for the price.

We stayed there 11 years ago and loved it. Magical view. Relaxing hotel. We wanted to stay there again and it didn't disappoint.
The walk up the hill!!

The dinner was great albeit very expensive
Staff were, very short tempered, no parking, while still being charged $35 a night, the price tag was completely unfounded $400 a night for a room looking into the aircon vents
4.0
Lovely interior, a very long and large hotel room compared to what I'm used to and the restaurant and bar is always a great place to sit and admire the view. Getting the food/drink vouchers on days I did not require my room being made up was an unexpected bonus too - I've never seen that done before and it's such a great idea!
I found the beds a bit too firm for my back, and it would have been useful to be able to connect my laptop to the TV via HDMI cable.

Great location. Excellent service from all staff. Room was beautiful, view gorgeous! Small kitchenette perfect for a small family to have breakfast in our rooms. Facilities very good. Will stay again

A really comfortable hotel in a good location and reasonably priced. Nice spa tubs.

We changed our room several times. The walk way outside the rooms towards the back of the hotel isn't great.
The room itself was lovely.
Nice hotel but if you're on the 7th floor, not great if you have a disability, there's no lift
Exceptional food, almost Michelin quality
The staff were disorientated and disorganised.
