Good location
Bathroom had very poor water drainage and ventilation. My daughter slipped on the bathroom floor and badly dislocated her knee due to water flooding out of the shower when we lodged a complaint at reception we were advised manager would call us. WE ARE STILL WAITING

Excellent value for money, and the staff were very friendly. Check in was easy, and they let us store our luggage until our flight after check out.
The furniture was a bit dated, although very clean and functional. The bathroom has been recently renovated.

The bed was very comfortable and the room very cosy and clean. Excellent location, short walk to Sandy Bay restaurants, cafe’s and supermarkets.
The freezer was not very cold. I would have liked an additional face washer and tea towel.

Within walking distance to town. Spacious clean comfortable apartment but needs updating, especially with heating / electrical appliances, ie, hair dryer. Not suitable for those with heavy luggages as no lift available.
Electric heater wasn't working, but we were eventually provided with another portable electric heater. Hence, problem solved.
Door handle came loose in the 2nd bedroom, but I managed to tighten it myself.

Location was perfect as you could walk to restaurants and harbor. Room was very clean and comfortable.
We were allocated a room on the 3rd floor and only stairs to access. Had to carry 3 large suitcases up these and I am 64.
Parking was also very tight particularly if a few larger cars were in the complex. Kitchen was also very small and not enough items to cook a decent meal.

Our apartment was a short drive to all the places we wanted to see for our first trip to Tasmania. We enjoyed being able to walk to a wide range of places to eat in the evenings & having a Woolies that was open late around the corner. The apartment itself was a mixture of modern & traditional & well equipped. We would have liked a slightly bigger kitchen, but the bedrooms were a nice size & the kids enjoyed having Netflix & Disney Plus available. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
Our apartment wasn’t ready when we arrived & when we entered, discovered that the carpet next to the kitchen was soaking wet. We all had to change our socks & assumed maybe the cleaners had accidentally knocked over a bucket in their rush to finish up. That evening, when our son had his first shower, we found out that the drain was clogged & the bathroom quickly filled with water, spilling into the kitchen. We turned the water off before it reached the carpet, but it is likely this was how the carpet got drenched in the first place. Although it was after hours, the staff were wonderful & dealt with the drain promptly. We were lucky with weather during our stay & the carpet dried over the next day or two. It wasn’t ideal, but didn’t affect how much we enjoyed our stay. We were particularly impressed by how attentive & caring the staff were, especially Rosalie.

We did not stay in the apartments. We stayed in the house at 42 Grosvenor -- the original house on the property. It was a stone house in the grand style: one enormous living room, another spacious lounge, a very well equipped kitchen with a spacious table for 8, and a large private garden space with gorgeous trees, with a covered outdoor table and chairs for 6. The house's 3 bedrooms were various. The downstairs bedroom had an attached bathroom [oddly lacking a door!], and was very comfortable. The two large upstairs bedrooms had five beds total, one of them a queen bed. The upstairs bedrooms would be hot on hot days.
It was very handy to be able to walk to Woolworth's in five minutes!
We got used to having no closing door to the downstairs bathroom. But we'd have liked to have a door!
