Nightmare

The worst hotel I have ever stayed in I am talking about serious safety and salubrious issues We found several cockroaches, bugs and insects everywhere. Everything was instantly dirty. I even got stuck in the bathroom as the door knob broke. The photos on Booking DO NOT reflect reality. No hot water, low cold water pressure, toilet didn’t flush, no refrigerator, main door was poorly locking etc etc Stay away !

There is absolutely nothing to like and everything to dislike. We had booked 2 nights but we obviously left after the first night. We asked for at least a partial refund considering the conditions and the only response we got was “yeah cockroaches come from the kitchen below what can you do…”. My advice: do not eat at the restaurant below either …

Great place to stay in San Pedro.

The hotel was on the beach. Beautiful view of the ocean. within walking distance of anything you wanted to do. Staff was great.

The water pressure in the shower was very low and not much hot water. That was the only down side everything else was great

Niet doen, er is genoeg andere accomodatie

De plaatjes op Booking bevielen ons eigenlijk nog het meest. Het ligt centraal gelegen in San Pedro op enkele minuten wandelen van de ferry. Er is een restaurant waar je kunt ontbijten. De pancakes waren zalig. De laundry service is niet snel maar wel keurig en niet al te duur. Je kunt voor de deur op het strand liggen.

We hadden een deluxe kamer geboekt maar we vonden er weinig deluxe aan. Naast een gammel bed was er een bureau met 1 stoel, een airco, fan en eenvoudige douche en toilet. De safe is zo aangelegd dat je deze makkelijk open zou kunnen breken. Er is geen koelkast, geen koffie of thee machine, dus verhoudingsgewijs is het geen deluxe kamer en betaal je ook nog vrij veel geld voor deze kamer. We wilden dineren bij het restaurant maar omdat er een visfestival was en het hotel dit sponsorde gingen de gasten daarvan voor. Men geeft aan caddy's te verhuren, dat wordt via via gedaan. In ons geval was het niet mogelijk omdat diegene die dat regelt op vakantie was. Prijzen in het restaurant erg aan de dure kant. Betalen kon niet met mijn AMEX, terwijl ik het hotel hier wel mee kon betalen. Het water voor het hotel is veel begroeid met mos, waardoor je bijna niet kunt zwemmen. Al met al vonden we de informatie op Booking veel mooier dan het in werkelijkheid was

Ubicación excelente y la comida de la San pestaña exquisita y a excelente precio, el camarero que nos atendió super amab

Lugar muy cerca a la playa, aunque lentamente hay mucho sargazo y no lo limpian, tuvimos que ir a otra playa para disfrutar de área limpia.

Mucha humedad, supongo que es porque estás literalmente frente al mar. Tampoco me gustó que te hacen dejar tu tarjeta escrita en una hoja de papel, booking no da aviso de esto, pero eran políticas del hotel así que ok.

Avoide this place at all costs

This place is by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Definitely not a 3 star hotel, nor is it worth the money. First of all, the staff at the desk are incredibly rude. Our room wasn't ready for 2pm check-in, and the staffs approach was that if the customer doesn't ask, we won't inform them. I had to constantly ask for updates to which of 6 staff present hadn't an answer. I was ignored. I was also charged twice for my stay. I paid in full 7 months in advance, and no one marked it on the system as paid. Secondly, the photos don't reflect the actual state of the room. We felt let down and catfished, really. Nowhere on booking.com does it meantion being beside a bar. Upon arrival, our floors were dirty, the bath and toilet were dirty, etc. Our window outside was hanging off as it was broken, and the door didn't lock properly. Our TV was broken, out lamps above the bed hanging off the walls. On TripAdvisor, it says a refrigerator is in the rooms, and there is NO fridge it was a nightmare to get drinks and to keep them cold. There's a safe provided and no safe key to actually lock it. There was also a weird smell in the room, but there's no vents in the room or the bathroom. To say we were disappointed with our stay is an understatement. Save your cash and go elsewhere, there's far better options.

Localização perfeita, perto de tudo e do boat (por onde você chega e sai da ilha). Quarto espaçoso e cama ok.

Chuveiro muito ruim, não tinha fluxo de água e ele não esquentava. Como o quarto era de madeira, cheirava mofo.

Great place to stay while diving in San Pedro

Great proximity to the dive shop, close to a lot of great restaurants, helpful staff, spacious room with AC

A little noisy with the dogs and the restaurant next-door but with the AC on it was not that noticeable

Exceptional

The rooms were super comfortable and the location was unbeatable. It was very easy to walk around and explore the local town/restaurants. Very short walk from the water taxi!

Nothing like the pictures.

It was quiet and in a good location. Our dive shop was at the hotel beach. The restaurant was good.

The room we stayed in was in really bad repair. We both got locked in the bathroom at different times due to the latch being broken. The bath walls were finished with 12 inch vinyl floor tiles that were falling off. The water pressure was a trickle. The shower fixtures were corroded badly. The security latch on the entrance was missing half of it. The safe was made of wood! Anyone could get in it with a pocket knife.

Below average, and expensive beach hut

the location is good, and the staff were very nice

The rooms are essentially wooden huts on the beach, the floor is linoleum, multiple cockroaches were in the room and the sheets were not clean. I wouldn’t mind if it was $20 a night, but for what I paid it felt very overpriced.

A beautiful place to stay,right on the sea shore , staff were very freindly and caterred for all our needs . The resterant on the property was excelant , my two girls have told me to book the same room for a future holiday and they are fussy about where they stay all in all a big thanks for an excelant holiday . keep up the good work. Can't wait to see everyone in October - it's like our little home away from home!

This place was so amazing! We will be going back for our third stay this October and can't wait! I wouldn't book anywhere else in San Pedro. The staff, the views the food the location - PERFECT!!

Our last room didn't have a fridge which made it hard to keep our leftovers or drinks cold but I bought a little cooler with ice and it was fine!

Between Paradise and Scruffy Interior and Service

When I arrived for 6 nights it was paradise. 1st Floor, balkony direct with palmtrees and seaview, 5 Min to domestic airport, also to Water Taxi/ Belize shuttle Boat. I had a 3 bed room, plendy of space, beautiful restaurant direct sea view, the sea was hust a 100 m ( in this times seagress ) wow I was happy for 2-3 days. the negatives please ready !!

6 bughts guest, no room cleaning, no rubbish brough away, dotzends of empty Coke bottle in my bath,no towel changing, ( I done it myself ), furniture is old, need repair or repaint, even the shower, for 10 US$ you get Nescaffee and a sunny side egg, BF and all other meals much to expensive

Hotel location, walking distance from Airport. Good clean beach front property, wonderful. Plenty of good restaurants and bars near hotel.

Passable

Very good location you can even walk from the airport. Right on the beach. Had a live band Friday night. Breakfast was good. Staff very friendly and helpful.

The room is very old and directly over the kitchen. Bed not very comfortable. Great location but not worth the money for the accommodations. Walls extremely thin you can hear everything from next door even when you don’t want to.

Wouldn't stay here again.

Location was nice. Hotel staff was nice and recommended spots to go to.

Bed was so uncomfortable that my back was in so much pain. The room had a mold smell that I couldn't get rid of. The hotel is very run down and old. No upgrades have been.

What I loved most of all was the location - close to the stores, the ice cream shop, the park and most of all the close proximity to the Stadium for the concert.👍🏽👍🏽

Can't really find anything to complain about👍🏽 Maybe a room on the second. Oh, no outlet by the bedstand

good location but poorly maintained hotel

Location on the beach is good. There are good restaurants nearby

We stayed 5 nights. There were crazy loud music from hotel’s own bar for 3 nights (from 4pm til curfew) Even when we stayed on 2sd floor and kept doors + windows locked, the music was too loud I had to leave the hotel and came back only around 9pm. Luckily there was curfew starting 9pm, otherwise they may play music til late night and I’d never get to sleep. The rooms are very old. Had to move to another room because the water pipe was broken. Then in the new room, the hot water pipe was blocked so no hot water for shower.

An okay stay

The location to center of town and a bar/restaurant on site. Bar staff and checkin person were friendly

For the price paid, the room was not what i expected. It was overpriced. Also we paid for king room ocean view and they gave us a double room with no view. The beds were low and hard. Nothing plush about the sheets and no comforter was on the bed. It was was like staying in someone's spare bedroom at their home. No iron in room or ice bucket, but we had a wooden safe with a key, flat pillows, and only amenities were soap. Floor was dirty (tiled floor). No microwave no black out curtains.

Passable

Great location, very friendly staff. However the shower did not work and I didn’t find this out until they were closed so there was nothing I could do. There was tiny little ants all over the sink in the room and also in the bathroom. It didn’t look like they cleaned the room prior to my check in.
