Hotel with great potential with the right workers.

Very comfortable. Good breakfast. Clean. Some assistants pleasantly helpful.

No bible in my room, in a religious city! Elevator got stuck in between floors, it’s been scary but thankfully it didn’t happen at night, and got resolved rather fast. The owner has been harshly telling off the kitchen assistant close to me during breakfast in the native language - that has been hugely unpleasant and disturbing during religious stay. Unprofessional communication about situation regarding delayed service. Shower was getting clogged.

Highly recommended.

Spotlessly clean room with plenty of space. Great staff, easy parking, good breakfast, etc.

In common with a number of stays during our holiday, directions to the property were not too clear.

Wonderful stay!

The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast every morning was delicious, so much to chose from and very tasty- you will not be disappointed. The hotel is a very short distance from St. James’ Parish Church, less than 10 minute walk. Everyone on the entire staff at the hotel was very pleasant and welcoming- they made us feel like family.

No complaints- everything was perfect.

Nice hotel in a quiet location nearby the church

The hotel was clean, staff was helpfull. The breakfast was OK, and the ladies at breakfast worked hard to provide the customers with coffee and eggs. The hotel is nearby the church and center (10 min. walk). It's position on a dead end street, so very quiet.

The only small advice would be to indicate with a sign if the hotel bar is open, as sometimes it looks closed. But, again just a hint.

Lovely modern hotel with very spacious room with spacious shared balcony. Good location, only a few minutes walk to church and town.

We were disappointed with breakfast. We expected a cooked breakfast but the only cooked items served are fried eggs, the rest was continental but it was fine, felt satisfied. Good coffee served.

Honestly , we like everything! Really! Guys at the reception are very helpful , polite and skilled! Any problems, questions they there to help you! The hotel is in mint condition! Sounds stupid , but if you dont want to eat from the table , you can eat from the floor without any issue. That kind of clean everything! The breakfast was good! I mean really GOOD! We eat a lot , because everything was so delicious! The guys help us orientating in the town , because first time was there. Nothing was false information... They also recommend a restaurant for dinner. We tried it. Was a bad idea, because the food was amazing and enormous! We eat a lot. I mean a LOT. About 10 minutes walk to the hotel but we cant. Just dragging each other and took 30 minutes to arrive 😊 And nothing was expensive! So , we enjoy everything there and if we going back in the future , just to there! Nowhere else. Was a very good decision to stay there! Thank you for everything guys! 👍😊

Well , we didn't like the weather, but nobody can change that. Nature! Seriously , can not say anything what we didn't like there! We enjoy every moment!

It made our pilgrimage so peaceful

It is close enough to the centre that it only takes a five minutes walk but it is far enough that you experience a quiet and calm sort of stay.

Beautiful, great value hotel near the main attractions of Medugorje

We really enjoyed our stay here, the hotel is new and very stylish, immaculately clean with very friendly staff . The bedrooms are very big, comfortable, well equipped and have huge wraparound balcony with lovely views of Apparition Hill and Krucifax Mountain. The balcony felt private as the hotel is not overlooked. Bedrooms have French door with electric shutter, had the best sleep as this blocked out light. Very peaceful surroundings of fields and vineyards but only 3 minute walk to St James Chapel. Good choice of continental breakfast and choice of fresh eggs cooked to order and fresh Italian coffee. All amenities you could want are close by eg restaurants, supermarket, chemist, bars, etc. shout out to the helpful staff especially Stipe who happily chatted with us and even taught me some of the language 😀 we’ll definitely be back!

Hotel Jana is wonderful!

We received excellent service from the very friendly staff. Location is very close to the church with beautiful views of Cross Mt. and Apparition Hill. Room is spacious and comfortable. Enjoyed the breakfast. We would highly recommend!

Amazing hotel. Staff was great. Room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Walking distance to everything you’d want to see in Medjugorje.

Surprisingly, the hotel seemed to only have a handful of guests when we were there.

The Family run Hotel Jana, is one of the best places I've stayed in and I would highly recommend it

The location was perfect, a close walk to St. James Church. We had an amazing view of the mountains and made great use of the balconies in the rooms. The breakfast was gorgeous, plenty to eat and all very fresh, omelettes were available every morning, and also freshly made coffee each day. This family friendly hotel looked after us and the children so well, we will definitely be back to stay. There was nothing which was too much trouble for the family running the hotel, we got to have a later check out, rooms are extra large and it is just so clean, don't think I have seen a hotel this clean in a long, long time. A bit thank you everyone at Hotel Jana, and we hope to see you all soon.

Wonderful hotel in the heart of Medugorje

Everything! The hotel is in a superb location in the centre of medugorje, while also being in a quiet location. The staff are so helpful and friendly, the hotel is immaculately clean and the rooms are spacious with very comfortable beds. We really enjoyed our stay here and will definitely be back soon.
