Ideale per Oristano

E' l'albergo storico di Oristano: un po' vecchiotto, ma anche tanto old fashion... Bene la camera e buona la colazione, ma ho apprezzato soprattutto la gentilezza e disponibilità del personale.

Functional city hotel in Oristano

The outside of the hotel tells of time gone by when the hotel was probably the major hotel in the town. The location was good, within walking distance of the old town and the bedroom had a little balcony and a decent bathroom. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was ok, with eggs offered, and it was nice to be able to eat outdoors.

The hotel seems to be stuck in a timewarp with new features added onto what was probably once a beautiful stone building. Hence it is all a bit confused and we had to walk though the restaurant to get to our ‘wing’ of the hotel ! Sadly there was no kettle in the room, the coffee in the restaurant was from a machine and food was served on plastic plates - that’s not 4* standard.

Good breakfast included, plenty of space to sit, centre of town

Parking is a little bit of a problem, you can only park in the street in the white marked spaces, and these fill up very quickly, the blue marked spaces are available but only on weekend and til midnight……so if in a car be aware that all the other surrounding parking available is for max 15 minute stays…..

Great hotel to stay in Oristano

The location is great and it is very easy to find a parking nearby. The rooms are big even for a family. The breakfast was also good.

Acceptable for a one night stay but I wouldn’t recommend it for anything longer.

The location is close to the train station but right on the edge of the old town.

It is an older hotel which is in need of renovation - it feels very dated and the garden area is untidy and overgrown. The breakfast was disappointing. I booked a single room and the single bed was tiny and had head and footboards, meaning that I couldn’t actually fit it in when lying flat. My sheets were clean but had holes in them.

Great place to stay in the heart of Oristano.

The location is perfect, in the heart of Oristano and great if you want to attend the Sartiglia, access the best restaurants and get in and out of the city with ease. Rooms are comfortable and clean, and whatever is missing, the staff will provide for in a matter of minutes. The staff is indeed what makes the difference in this hotel: incredibly polite, friendly, thorough, and very helpful. Breakfast was very good for this kind of accommodation. The rooms are comfortable and clean.

The rooms are a bit outdated and the entire property would benefit with a refurbishment to give it a more modern look.

Did its job, in Sardinia you spend ypur time at the beach. Not in the hotel.

Perfectly functioning hotel. A bit outdated ..... Breakfast ok. All there not much attention to arrangement.

Booked same day as i was passing through area while on exploration trip with my 7 year old kid.

I liked the location, staff was amazingly kind and spoke English. Hot shower and clean room.

The bed mattress was pretty smelly, so I couldn't sleep without a pillow. Breakfast could be a bit better even in COVID times.

Hot water was a problem, that although we mentioned it twice, it was a reoccurring issue, which eventually was corrected the day before we departed.
