All aspects of the hotel.
The meals on the ala carte menu were somewhat rich for our taste but still enjoyable.

The location was perfect
The celebration package I had asked for was definitely not what was expected. Very poor. Room was very small and for a 4 star hotel I expected more .

Location was good, in city centre. The bed was comfortable. Staff were friendly.
Breakfast was nice.
The gap between the bed and a large pillar in the room was really narrow and I knocked my ankle bone on the pillar the first night - ouch!
We weren’t keen on the decor in the restaurant / bar. I’m sure it looks lovely on Instagram but it was all plastic flowers and foliage and pink neon lights, plus very loud music in the evening so we went out.
The shower was over the bath and I would have preferred it to be separate.

The orange juice & coffee.
Wanted a full English but they had no baked beans. My second choice was waffles but they had no waffles, said their delivery was late. Third choice, eggs on toast, perculiar toast had a funny taste & was very hard to cut & chew.

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful! Comfortable, clean, and for a very good price. I'll certainly stay here again!
The lift is rather small, so be mindful when bringing large luggage.

The staff were amazing, couldn't be more helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. The view wasn't particularly nice but didn't spoil our stay for one night.
I was particularly impressed that after contacting the hotel to say we were there celebrating my daughters birthday, they left a card and small gift for her.
Can't wait to visit again. Thank you.
View from the room was of the back and rooftops of other buildings.

Our double room was on the small side. Bathroom good size.
Couple of stains on stair carpet in room and crack in wash hand basin. But otherwise clean.

We could have been warned about the VERY noisy roadworks which lasted until mid-night. We had been warned that they would be there during the day.

Really noisy from outside of the hotel plus noisy people in the hotel that were guests

Reception Staff were really lovely. The food was great and the hotel itself is really nice and clean. It might of just been the room we were in that was a let down.
The room it's self was nice, but the layout was a little odd.
There is a big post in between the 2 windows which happened to be at the end of the bed. You have to watch your walking as we ended up with bruised ankles as the skirting boards come out quite far. It was the same the other side of the bed. It's a bit of a squeeze with 2 of you in trying to move around.
There is no plugs next to the bed.
The bath has no rail so be careful getting in to the shower and there is nothing to hold on too.
We had to connect our phone to the TV as there wasn't much signal for the channels.
Bed was comfortable but the pillows are duck feather so went flat quick. I had to use the decor pillows.
You can open the window but if you don't mind the sound of a loud vent outside, you will be fine.

Hotel was in a great location. Beautiful bar, lovely cocktails! Only complaint would be our rooms were quite small.

-very convenient location, 10 min walk to any tourist place in the city
- very nice restaurant, top quality of bar and kitchen
- very helpful and friendly staff
- room door lock was not working properly
- some furniture parts were loose
- weird spots on mirror
*we were ok with all that issues, we didn't address staff, so we didn't expect any actions to fix it
