Just where I needed it
Night staff a lot friendlier than the morning receptionist
4.0
Nice friendly welcome, clean room with all expected facilities.
The requirement to check in by 10pm is not ideal. The duvet looked a bit thin but turned out to be warm enough, though having a blanket in the room as it gets colder would be advised.
4.5
Super clean which is the number one thing I look for! Exactly what I needed. Amazing shower too with great water pressure which is always appreciated. Staff were extremely friendly and welcoming and I felt very safe!
The bed was squeaky which is why it isn’t a full 10 rating. It woke me up a few times and definitely would like the option for another firm pillow as the 1 of the 2 pillows given was very squishy which I can’t personally sleep on.

Absolutely nothing. This place is not as it advertises itself. Granted, the late arrival check-in did work as described although with a slight Addams Family vibe. The night porter looked as if they'd combust if sunlight hit them.
Where to start ? For a kickoff, the rooms are extremely basic (Holiday Inn/Travel Lodge standard) with incredibly poor ventilation (no air con, but a floor fan with the volume level of a turboprop aircraft), hence the black mould infesting the wall behind the main and only clothes hanging area. The only windows - at street level - face directly onto the car park. The bathroom, although ensuite was small: cupboard sized.
Staff ? they couldn't give a proverbial. It's "sort yourself out, nothing to do with us". Well, the two that were there the next morning.
What really shows the place up however is that they're complete ripoff merchants.
We originally booked for two nights and then transferred to the sister establishment - the Asperion Hillside (there'll be a review about that too...), so only stayed one night, having cancelled the one night.
We were charged for the original two.
The manager, lying, insists that we stayed both nights, despite a complete lack of evidence of same. We were also charged for two day's worth of breakfast, which translates to £25 for two bowls (tablespoon-sized) of muesli on the morning we checked out.
So....reported to Surrey Trading Standards.

The room was big and pretty, the bathroom was not too big but quite modern. However, it would have been nice to have in the bathroom maybe a shelf or a small chair in order to put on toiletries. The breakfast looked nice but unfortunately it is not included in the price. However, the hotel is 10 minutes from the city centre (it is located at the top of a hill, so the walk is not the easiest but still pleasant) where there are plenty of restaurants and nice bar and coffee places where to eat or have breakfast!
We asked (and paid extra per night) for an extra bed for my daughter and the hotel staff prepared for her a chair bed with a very thin mattress. Luckily my daughter was just 4 yo and did not weight too much, but for a bigger kid that is not ideal. Furthermore, the bed was so small that she fell from it a few times during the night.

Location, very clean
Charge for parking when booking.xom said parking included in the section at the top where everything that is included in the price is listed.
I will not revisit anywhere where there is dishonest dealings.
The amount is actually irrelevant.

Friendly staff, good room, very clean. Easy walk into town.
3.5
Close to the train station and town centre, but not right in the centre so felt a bit quieter. The staff were easy going.
The room felt a bit basic, but it was expected and for the price it certainly was still worth the stay.

i wish there was a mini fridge! and a kettle its a very very basic room
4.5
Excellent room, very clean, great bathroom. Nice staff. Free toiletries. Large room and free Wifii that worked well. Honesty bar which is great so I didn't need to even leave the hotel. Food is also offered.
I liked everything.
5.0
Very clean bedroom and bathroom, plenty of tea and coffee. Very comfortable bed
2.5
It was clean
The rooms are very very small. The building was too warm and the window only opened slightly. My room was right on the road so it was also very noisy. I definitely wouldn’t stay here in summer.
5.0
very clean bathroom
2.0
clean but very small size
I have to pay £25 for early checking at 11am instead of 3 pm which represents 25%

Location was good, 10 mins walk into town centre. Clean place, good breakfast. Efficient check in staff. Bed was comfy and shower good.
Lack of fresh shampoo/shower gel in room (I was there for 3 nights). Had to ask for more. Poky room. Hall areas in need of lick of paint. Parking expensive. Breakfast was OK, freshly cooked but pricey.

The room was very close to the trainstation! However if you are carrying luggage bare in mind it is up hill (I would recommend getting a taxi!) The hotel is a cute little one! They invest in what actually matters: super comfy beds, quality linen and pillow, proper warm shower! The single room is small however cause of the clever layout chosen it looks spacious! I have only stayed for an evening due to commuting requirements and I consider it is a perfect place for who commutes, working in the town or even if visiting Guildford and just needing a place for quality sleep and shower! Totally recommend!
The only little improvement I believe could be done is better noise cancelling. A person can easily listen noise from other room and corridors. Also better glaze for the same purpose would be beneficial. I have a deep sleep, however people that dont might find the rooms outlooking the main road a bit noisy.

I have always found the staff and level of cleanliness to be excellent.
All good.

Room was clean , fresh and comfortable.
Room was on very noisy road
4.0
The cleanliness of the room.
The size of room is small.
4.0
I didn’t have breakfast, I stayed there because of a family wedding and it wasn’t necessary
I found the room a little claustrophobic, but everything was spotless and the staff very welcoming and helpful.
4.0
Staff were great
Room was unbearably hot, and if you opened the window to let cool air in it was unbearably noisy
5.0
The room was modern & nice and clean.
Bathroom facilities were decorated elegantly and were very fresh (clean grout and silicon, dust free, etc), the shower was a really nice size, and the heated mirror to prevent steam was a great touch!
The only suggestion I could say would be that the shutting of the main door slightly rattled our room door, which wasn't an issue for us as it wasn't happening very late, but maybe a softer close on the main door or adjustment to room doors to be a tighter fit would help.

location
no airco, towel was stained
3.5
Nice sized room, well fitted out, quiet, comfortable beds, good reading lights, very courteous staff, and car parking was almost next to the room
The bathroom was very small and it was simply not possible to hang towels anywhere, nor was there room for 2 sets of bathroom/toilet private bags. So, everything in the bathroom worked but the hooks on back of door were of such a strange design that anything put on them would invariably fall off onto the floor.
I was also surprised to be charged extra for the car park, but perhaps that is naivety on my part

The gentleman who welcomed us was lovely and helpful.
The room was modern and comfy.
The lady at breakfast was very nice and accommodating to our dietary needs, and even sorted a razor for my hubby to use
Couldn’t fault it, lovely staff and lovely hotel.
4.5
a warm welcome from staff who were very helpful with some questions about places to go. the room was modern and clean, the bathroom was spotless with an excellent shower.
WiFi was good and a small desk which had power sockets for my laptop.
The road is pretty busy and noisy at times.
The drainage from the shower and sink was slow, so I had to turn off the shower after a few minutes to stop it overflowing.
it’s about 10-15 mins from the town and some of the public footpaths are thin with the road being busy, it may not be a suitable location if you have mobility issues.

Great service from a friendly, welcoming team. Hotel is a short walk to the town centre, so very convenient and is very modern and well furnished inside, with a creative use of space. The room was very comfortable with an excellent bathroom and shower. Lovely breakfast in the morning. Nicely stocked bar with an 'honesty list' for out of hours use, which made me feel trusted as a guest.
4.0
Very clean and comfortable room.
As I had booked through Booking.com, I had to pay if I wanted breakfast. There was just one price and no cheaper continental option. I would also have had to pay £10 per day for parking if I had left my car there.
4.5
beautiful room
that food wasn’t included in the high price
