The location was good for the university, cathedral, town and supermarkets. Kitchen largely well equipped with a washing machine, dryer and microwave . Chocolates, biscuits and water on arrival were a nice touch. Off street parking. Lots of toiletries and towels. Conservatory a nice space to sit in. A good supply of crockery and cutlery - the kitchen table was nicely laid out. Games available.
Too many bedrooms and not enough living area - there is only enough comfortable seating for 3 people, which isn't sufficient in a property for up to 8 people. The garden could be an attractive feature and place to sit but it was quite unkempt and the rubbish in the front garden didn't give a good first impression. There were instructions on how to use the dishwasher...but no dishwasher! Hot water ran out quickly - not enough for four people to have a shower in the morning. The double beds were not full sized and there was an unpleasant smell in one of the bedrooms. Overall it felt like accommodation set up for student living.

The location is perfect, located near the train station. The property is perfect for a family. The host is very responsive and kind.

The accommodation is it in high standard for living. Warm and tidy in a quiet area, very welcoming in terms of comfort. Located near to the town centre, you can reach very easy all the destinations in town.

Easy to find the keys and as per information. However only one set of front door keys for a multi bedroom house.
The property was lacking in services and places to store cloths. A very basic rental with little to no furniture for a stay of more than one or two days.

First of all I have to mention I was very sceptical about booking this property, as there were no reviews at the time of booking, but when we arrived in the property all concerns disappeared
We loved the welcome package when we first entered the hallway, there were chocolates with a very informative information booklet and a welcome note from the host. The accommodation was immaculate and there was everything we needed for a weekend away, including a washing machine (I mention the washing machine as we have stayed at many properties that did not have a washing machine and it's always lovely to go home with clean clothes after staying away).
It was lovely having the living room at the back, as I was able to be included in conversation with everyone whilst cooking.
Each bedroom had water and biscuits, which was a lovely touch.
Info that you may find helpful:
*The city centre was around 10-12 minute drive and it was lovely exploring the market and the rest of the city, there is also a bus stop at the end of the road.
*There a One Stop supermarket one road away with a pub next door (we did not go to the pub, so unable to leave a give information). Also Lidl is around a 7 minute drive, along with many other large stores.
I spoke to the host on more than one occasion, once the day before when I had a question and the other when we received a lovely welcome call on arrival and on both occasions they were very accommodating/lovely.
We had a lovely stay and would definitely stay again.
The driveway did not have a light to help to see when parking at night, but the host did notify us of and mentioned a light was being put in place after we left, so this will not be an issue for any of the other guest.
