The location was very good, a short stroll into the town. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The shower was excellent and towels some of the best for thickness and size.
A king size bed would have been better rather than the standard double. The room over looked a busy road into the town so the traffic noise started about six in the morning. The church was nearby and the bells rang intermittently throughout the day and for about an hour on Sunday morning - which we could have been for-warned about! The toiletries were minimal and the room was not cleaned (no bins emptied) during our three day stay, nor were the tea mugs washed.

Middle of skipton, staff were extremely helpful
Parking was extremely cramped

A very nice room but this hotel is not suitable for anyone with a disability.
Breakfast, this was at the Curious Fox adjacent to the hotel and sadly the same cook ( can't call him a chef) as the previous night. The food was overpriced and badly cooked, the only positive thing I can say is that the waitress was lovely.
The stairs ! I think it unfortunate that the hotel is linked to the Curious Fox opposite as it had to be the worst restaurant I have eaten in for sometime.
The hotel bar was really nice a very pleasant place for a drink.I do wish that I could say that I would stay again but the stairs prevent this. It is in an excellent position in the town and near to excellent restaurants but not the one opposite.

Good location, nice room
Got a parking fine despite parking in the designated bay. Coach House did not respond to messages asking for it to be sorted out.

That we had a car parking space was helpful. The location was very central which made it convenient. Skipton is a really pretty place. If you haven't been I recommend it. It is also handy for Haworth and other places. The staff were very friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. The room was lovely and clean. Spotless in fact.
We have a particularly warm day / night. A fan may have been helpful in the top room. A room maybe on the first floor preference need time.

Lovely double aspect room. Excellent shower, plenty of tea and coffee in the room.
The owner of The Coach House made us feel very welcome, and she was very friendly and helpful.
The bar downstairs was beautifully decorated and cosy and comfortable.
Walking distance to everything in Skipton town.
The full Westminster chime on the nearby church 24/7.

Room was nice and spacey. Bed was comfortable. Location was excellent
Although large and clean the room wasn't luxurious as stated and was a little over priced for what it was. No staff about and only ever spoke to someone through an intercom

Lovely room, comfortable bed, good location
Parking was very tight, arrived to find someone else had pinched our space.
Heating hadn't been turned on in the room at all, so it was rather cold.
Day 2. After a day of walking out in the Dales, really looking forward to a warm bath before heading into Skipton for dinner. Only to find that there was no hot water! My husband complained and was told that there were several bookings for a wedding party and that they had used it all... surely if the staff knew that, they should have made sure that the system had been boosted to ensure there was hot water for the other guests?! It took a further 45 minutes until there was water hot enough for a shower but not sufficiently warm for a bath.

Lovely room with good facilities but FAR TO HOT needs better fans / air cooling in summer months .
Far to HOT . Few little things missing bath robes. And better fans needed for Cooling as room was too hot .

Size of room
Shocking checking in - every day people were trying to check and with little success. Pub is mostly closed and lady doesn't answer doorbell or phone. Took us 30 minutes to gain access
Vomit stain on the headboard which had been cleaned but needs covering up.

The location is perfect, close to bars, restaurants and sites.
The service in B&B was not up to our expectations. For the price we paid we expected a better service.

Excellent Location
Small room, not luxury

Good central location with easy 24hr access. The room was lovely - quite spacious, nicely decorated and well equipped.
The music from downstairs was quite intrusive and went on till midnight on Saturday.
Breakfast was a problem - it is now served at the sister restaurant over the road, and although we could not pay for it via Booking.com, we received several emails telling us it would be either £9.50 or £10 each. Although it was excellent, we were charged over £30. We didn't see the owner again so couldn't raise it with her.

The room was beautiful and comfortable and the staff were friendly.
There wasn't any breakfast, which was a bit disappointing even though of course it was up to me to do my homework prior to arrival.
