The cottage was nice and clean. Comfy beds. Not super king as advised. Says super king zip and link but it was two single beds pushed together. They were comfy but a bit short in the length. Super king beds are longer. The Bathroom was beautiful.
The bathroom although beautiful was a bit disappointing. Only a handheld shower over the bath and the water supply is not good to the bath. Very very slow and the taps are tricky. Instructions given to not turn on the taps fully in order for the water to keep hot. It took a while to run a bath but I enjoyed it once I managed to get in. I think the best way forward would be to change this to a walk-in shower. This would make a huge difference. Also a Street sign on the wall leading into the cul-de-sac with an arrow pointing in would be a great help. We accidently went past the opening and ended up stuck at the top of the very narrow road. Took us an hour to manage to maneuver and reverse back down the road again. Got there in the end though. AND STRAIGHT TO THE PUB.

Beds advertised zip up super king, IT WAS NOT. It was 2 rickety, worn out single beds without the length superking would give, one of the reasons we booked accommodation as husband tall therefore feet overhanging bed.. Shower over ball and claw freestanding bath, totally impractical, shower had to be held one hand, water not contained in bath therefore floor slippy. Insufficient bathroom lighting. Only one bedside table with one lamp.

A lovely cottage well situated for everything in Skipton,Amy was always on call, what a nice person,I may be back come summer.
I didn't like the shower, it takes an,A level to find the correct temperature,it takes a age to sort the temperature out due to the old pipes, needs to be addressed.

lovely cosy cottage, really well presented and within a few minutes walk of the town centre and the canal basin. really well situated.
I loved the look of the bathroom, but unfortunately due to health issues I did not find it accessible. The bath is a roll top, looks lovely but is quite high, and the shower is over the bath. This probably isn’t an issue for most people so this isn’t a complaint, just an observation.

2 minutes walk from shops and amenities in Skipton plus car parking outside property was extremely useful. Cottage was very cosy and comfortable. Kitchen area is compact but there is a microwave, electric oven, gas hob and small fridge/freezer. However you're on holiday and don't want to be slaving away cooking so it's a good opportunity to visit the local pubs including Wetherspoons and Bizzie Lizzies fish and chips at the bottom of the road is excellent 👌
Delay from owner to provide code for box on the wall in order to access the door key was frustrating. It would have been more helpful if the code had been sent in a message rather than trying to phone the owner and them not answering the phone. Also the remote didn't work to operate the Sky TV box however the owner came the following afternoon to replace the remote.
