Schönes Hotel, ABER..

Die Lage, Sauberkeit und das Badezimmer

Die Kopfkissen waren nicht komfortabel. Zimmerreinigung muss man anmelden wenn man jeden Tag gereinigt haben möchte, sonst alle 2 Tage! Eincheckzeit 16:00!!!! Auscheckzeit 11:00!!!

Spontan waren wir zu zweit - was keinerlei Problem darstellte! Auch der eigentlichen Check-Out, der sich verzögerte, war überaus entgegenkommend.

Wunderschönes Hotel, dessen Preise sich durch den früher mal tollen Spa-Bereich rechtfertigten.

Die Lage des Hotels ist für unsere Zwecke schon immer absolut perfekt gewesen. Die Zimmer sind ausreichend bequem und geräumig - das Frühstück sehr hochwertig.

Wir kommen bereits seit Langem 1x jährlich ins Dorint Hotel am Dom Erfurt - hauptsächlich zum Übernachten, haben das Hotel jedoch immer wieder aufgrund des tollen Spa-Bereiches gewählt, der sich nach einer kurzen Nacht als wahrer Lebensretter entpuppt hat. Dass dessen Nutzung mittlerweile teurer, dessen Ausstattung jedoch nun abgespeckt wurde (Whirlpool ist verschwunden), hat für uns leider die Grundlage unseres regelmäßigen Besuches entfernt.

Wir würden dieses Hotel für einen Aufenthalt in Erfurt jederzeit wieder buchen

Super Hotel, sehr zentral gelegen, sehr freundliches Personal vor allem am Empfang des Frühstücksraumes und der Barkeeper am Abend. Es ist alles sehr ordentlich und sauber.

Es fehlte etwas an Gemütlichkeit im Zimmer. Aber Ausstattung ist trotzdem top.

Erfahrungen aus dem Dorint in Erfurt

- Wie gewohnt freundliche und zuvorkommende Mitarbeiter. Durch die Lage der Zimmer zur Hotelmitte war es sehr ruhig im Hotel/ Zimmer, Zimmer top, Sauberkeit gut.

Das Frühstück war definitiv nicht auf 4 Sterne Niveau. Qualität der Säfte auf 2 Sterne Niveau. Meiner Meinung nach waren die Säfte mit Wasser verdünnt. Ich kenne die Säfte aus den Dorint Hotels und eigentlich sind diese sehr gut. Wenn bei den Eiern 7 Minuten Ei steht, dann muss man sich darauf verlassen können. Unser Eigelb war komplett flüssig. Keine Erdbeermarmelade, kein reichhaltiger Fisch wie Lachs etc. Beim Obst und Gemüse wurde auch nur das minimum angeboten. Auswahl der Speisen 2-3 Sterne Niveau. Da ich Dorint Hotels kenne und eigentlich stets nur sehr gutes Frühstück gewohnt bin muss ich sagen das dieses Frühstück meine Erwartungen nicht erfüllt hat.

Das Frühstück war hervorragend. In wenigen Minuten erreicht man zu Fuß die Innenstadt. Sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Mitarbeiter.

Quiet and peaceful

Very quiet. Glad to have a bottle of water. Restaurant was excellent and staff very pleasant. Staff great all round.

I did not like the artworks displayed either in my room or in the corridor. I would have preferred something more figurative and definitely more colourful. It seemed a bit rude to say - you have a bottle of water and if you want anything else you have to pay for it and go downstairs into the lobby! Also, I would have liked a kettle, I had some sachets of herbal tea needing hot water and none was available.

Die Lage ist perfekt für einen Stadtbummel und natürlich für den sehr schönen Weihnachtlichtsmarkt.

Eine schöne große Dusche, anstatt der Badewanne wäre super

sehr gutes Stadthotel

Die Lage in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Dom ist sehr gut. Die Zimmer sind komfortabel und groß genug, um auch einmal einen Abend dort zu verbringen. Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig und es sind genug Plätze vorhanden, damit man nicht zu beengt sitzt.

Jederzeit gerne wieder buchen

Ein sehr schönes Hotel, zentral gelegen, alles zu Fuß im Zentrum von Erfurt zu erreichen. Personal sehr höflich und kompetent bei Fragen. Frühstücksangebot sehr vielfältig, alles im allem , kann ich das Hotel weiter empfehlen.

Excellent location and breakfast

Excelent location: walking distance to the most important sites. Excellent breakfast - although initially the price leaves you somewhat speachless but I believe it is worth the money. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff despite the opinions I read, was really nice and attentive; especially in the bar - we were quickly offered the menu and then during sipping our drinks, offered complimentary snack. Restaurant open till 10 p.m. and the bar till 1 a.m. The parking may seem somewhat expensive especially that there is a cheaper parking just opposite the hotel, but for 1 night it was more convenient to use the hotel parking and we could leave the car there during our site seeing after check-out within the same charge. I was actually surprised about the overall rating below 8 because for me it is a solid 9. Some reviews complained about the deco but the hotel was builit in the 90s and everything is in a very good shape. Anyways I was positively surprised. I would definately stay there again.

If I were to be picky, especially that it is a 4 star hotel. The towels should have been already replaced with new ones. They were somewhat greyish and torn in some places. Some elements in the bathroom could use some scrub (there was a little bit of scale on the shower head, anti-slip strips in the bath tub were darker instead of white) nonetheless overall the bathroom was clean. And I'm not sure about the detergent used to wash the sheets and the towels. I could see that they were clean but the smell was funny - not fresh. Either the hotel uses unscented detergent for the laundry or stores the sheets and towels in a place where they loose the fresh scent.

A quick one night stay, but it was very comfortable and breakfast was excellent.

Breakfast was outstanding, staff was friendly, and the room was clean and comfortable.

The room was a little warm. It's possible we just didn't figure out how to use the temperature control.

Nice Hotel, good location, friendly staff.

Friendly Staff at check-in. Breakfast buffet was well organized with many options. Food was delicious. Air-conditioned room was spacious, clean and quiet. TV was a little small. Great location behind the Dom and next to Erfurt Zitadelle. Tram stop across from Hotel. 10 min Tram ride from main Train Station. Overall we can recommend this hotel.

A reasonably good stay but not up to four star standards in some ways.

Good location with short walk to town. Tram half a block away. New and Modern. Good Breakfast Buffet with many choices. Comfortable room.

Only 3 plugs in entire junior suite. One by bed. One on desk. One in bathroom. Not enough for a large 2 room suite which could sleep four. Should have at least a multiplug outlet on desk. When clearing tables in the breakfast room I never in 3 days saw any table wiped down even with a wet cloth let alone disinfectant! Only one coffee machine for this huge hotel breakfast room. (a second one was around the corner but always off/not working.) Not good enough for a large 4 star hotel! At least have a simple coffee pot full to avoid long waits unless you want specialty coffee.
