Great location, only stayed one night, didnt feel we quite had the experience we could have

We stayed in the 'main building' would have been really good to stay in one of the others! Breakfast and especially service was excellent.

We would go back

The family room was massive, beds comfortable and everywhere very clean. Close to longleat, which is the main reason for the visit. Breakfast was amazing every morning. The owner was lovely.

Meals are limited. If open it was 18.30-20.30. A small fridge in the room would of been great aswell.

'Bunkhouse' holiday

Location.Very clean.Friendly owner. Good facilities in the 'bunkhouse'.

Higly recomended

We had a family room and it was so big and a beautiful details. Breakfast was so good. Specially eggs had orange egg yolks and so tasty. The best ever. We will came again

Hospitality at it finest.

I felt right at home. Peta is an excellent host. The grounds are lovely and the food delicious.

Great escape. There are not many amenities nearby, but perfect if you want to get away from everything.

Exceptional

Our family stay at The Vobster Inn was exceptional. The room was huge, clean and very comfortable. Peta our hostess was wonderful and very friendly. The location was beautiful. The breakfast excellent with a fabulous choice. We just wished we had more time to stay longer!

Fabulous place super friendly host. Loved it!

The location was beautiful. We had a fantastic 9 night stay. Nothing was too much trouble for the host. She made us feel so welcome and was very friendly. Loved it. Would recommend this property to anyone wishing to explore the area.

Pleasant but very tired accommodation.

Friendly staff, pub in nice rural location, very good breakfast.

The accommodation is very tired and in need of a complete overall. Grotty grout in the shower with shower door that doesn't close. Clunky tap, needs fresh paint. Light fittings in bedroom old, dusty and frayed. Bedroom carpet stained.

Fantastic family break, thoroughly spoilt by Peta and Raf!

Peta and Raf are fantastic hosts, room was perfect for our family. Location is great for our trips to Longleat and Bath. This was our second stay and we're planning next years trip in The Bunkhouse! Andrew

Excellent breakfast and good for relaxing

Good things: - Friendly host - Quiet place, perfect to sleep - Tidy, family style room - Excellent breakfast

Not so good things: - "Private bath" means to Me: a bath not just a shower. - The location is far from the major cities, nothing to do localy

Very welcoming owner and great quality breakfast in a quiet rural location.

Lovely owner, very friendly and helpful. Set in a beautiful rural location in a small hamlet. Great quality and choice for breakfast, which is selected on a form the night before. Good self service check in system.

The mattress was a bit soft for our liking but obviously that’s our preference. Not sure whether the bar in the main building is used as it was closed at 8pm when we got there.

Brilliant B&B, with a super breakfast

The breakfast was excellent, locally sourced and with lots of options. The host very friendly and accommodating and helped us with all of our questions. The rooms are basic but clean and well kept. We didn't have time to explore the area on foot but it seemed lovely.

Very relaxing a lovely diversion from our busy life in london.

The breakfast was fantastic the host was amazing soo welcoming and nothing was too much trouble.

Rural inn with very friendly staff

The host, Petra, was very friendly. The breakfast was very good (typical English breakfast with sausages, ham and eggs). I liked the location which was very quite and the fact that there is ample space to park your car. The room we got was huge, had four beds and an additional sofa.

There was not enough light in the room. It took some time until the water in the bathroom got hot (had to leave the water running for some time). The isolation of the windows was not good, cold air could get in.

A home from home experience.

After a long day out in the rain it was lovely to end our day with a lovely experience. Easy to get to parking was great, lovely quiet location in the countryside which is what we are used to so was great! Entered our room and was so at ease. Lovely spacious family room that was warm and comfortable. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. The room was cleaned to a high standard with crisp bedding. We felt very comfortable being there. A simple order form for breakfast to fill before 10pm made us look forward to breakfast in the morning Knowing what options we had. Breakfast was amazing, very attentive. Arrived to our table with drinks at the ready. Everything fresh and top quality from the granola with yogurt to the hot breakfast. Free range eggs delicious bacon and the best sausages I’ve tasted. My daughter who was super excited about the pancakes was not disappointed in the slightest. And the egg and soldiers for my little boy went down a treat also. Host was incredible, hats off to you. Well organised and relaxing b n b. Thankyou 🙂
