Great location, easy parking, very well presented, friendly & helpful owner.

There was no food or drink available. The room was clean and tidy.
Total lack of interest from our 'hosts'. We didn't see anybody. There was no signing in book. The room was alright the bathroom did not have a safety bar in the shower cubicle. The light above the basin did not work. The mirror above the basin was permanently leaning towards the floor.

Breakfast was complimentary and much better than explained
Made to feel very welcome

Normally expect breakfast to be included.
Rooms comfortable and clean.
To have to pay for breakfast.
Also,
Advertised as dog friendly - but doesn’t state that this only applies to certain rooms. I had to sleep in the car with the dog.

Clean, good parking
trying to get keys from key box in pouring rain. boxes are fiddly and not ideal when juggling luggage. no cursing at small window and main curtains a little short.

Location was convenient for the night before a graduation ceremony in Bath. Easy to park. Food was good, my daughters particularly loved the feta salad! Staff were friendly.

One of the best hotel beds I’ve slept in! Lovely crisp sheets. Perfect location for Bath
Only better if there was an option of a proper breakfast in the pub

Fantastic little village. Very scenic and incredibly friendly staff.

The hospitality off the staff was very good. The rooms were comfortable and we had a lovely diner.
What we really loved that the owner brought us a bottle of wine, when we arrived late from Bath and the pub was already closed. And....for free
A minor point is the breakfast. It's a continental breakfast and you have to order it the day before. The put the breakfast in the fridge.
The owner explained us why he did that, but still we didn't like it.

It was a lovely pub in a nice village close to Bath. Bus stop just across the road. The rooms were clean, spacious and pleasant. We ate at the pub a few times and the food was delicious and menu varied.
No cooked breakfast on offer, you had to preorder a continental breakfast and collect it from the fridge.

The owner was so lovely so accommodating would certainly recommend this hotell
Just a little bit far out of centre of bath

Lovely area, great room, friendly staff. The Rose & Crown is in a lovely setting, the room was spacious and very comfortable. Breakfast was a very generous continental pre-prepared for us to collect on the morning to eat in the room.
Nothing.

The room was spotless. Excellent shower, serviced daily. Comfortable and warm,
It is just a shame that they only do a continental breakfast.

We have stayed many times and love the atmosphere and the friendliness of the staff
The food is fantastic and it’s very good value for money for a location so close to Bath. This is our ‘go to’ for time away
Road noise - but we do know that about this location
Lighting in the bathroom could be better

The room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The shower was also really nice. There was plenty of tea and coffee in the room and lots of storage for clothes, there was also provision of a hairdryer. The room was cozy with adjustable temperature on the radiator and came with a complimentary breakfast because the pub was closed when we visited.
There are bus stops outside the property which are useful, but I'd recommend that you physically look at the timetables at the stop because the ones online were incorrect.
We were really gutted that the bar and restaurant were closed for our visit. I wish that I looked a little more closely at their opening times because we could have easily adjusted our visit accordingly.

A lovely building, plenty of parking, spacious and spotless room with a comfortable bed. Nice and warm, plenty of tea and coffee provided.
Quite a lot of traffic noise.

Nice location, friendly staff and very accommodating, excellent food and well equipped and comfortable room. Very good value for money

The room was comfortable, warm and spotlessly clean.
There was quite a lot of noise from passing traffic noticeable in the room. Despite the tea & coffee making facilities, no milk was provided rendering it unusable for me. Disappointing no cooked breakfast was available unlike other establishments in Bath of a similar character / standard and the only option being a relatively expensive continental breakfast which if taken had to be consumed in the room despite no Covid restrictions being necessary.

the room was lovely & well equipped.
The satnav tried to take me to somewhere else!

Very welcoming staff, lovely bar and pretty, comfortable room and bed and spacious shower room.
The bar meals were nothing special for the price and there was a lot of meals that were not available on the menu but guess it was due to them getting ready to close the following day, for their upcoming holiday, so understandable.
there were cobwebs on the ceiling, above the bed and it took a while to get to sleep because of noise from the bar downstairs.

Very comfortable room and ensuite. Excellent location. Will use again.
Was disappointed there was no cooked breakfast
