Coachhouse Cottage

Friendly Hosts, Great Location but Overpriced, Not Private or Child Friendly

- Great location - Friendly, Helpful hosts - Hot tub lovely

- Very uncomfortable and stuffy. - Lack of privacy garden is shared with the owners without any barriers or separation. - Misleading pictures owners live 10m away and the front entrance faces their house. We had to keep curtains closed as owners house is directly opposite. - Not child friendly garden overlooks a steep ravine and is not safely closed off for children to play safely. - Overpriced we wanted private hot tub but did not get that as you are basically in the owners garden. - Unsafe our toddler could easily open the main door and ran out onto the road as there no gate.

Exceptional

Amazing hosts, the cottage was lovely with everything you can possibly need for a stay away from home. We were lucky to have 2 sunny days, so we ate outside for breakfast and dinner 🍽.. The garden was lovely 🐿🐿 The hot tub was a lovely addition. Overall, it was an amazing stay, and we will back again !!

Idyllic location, close to Colwyn Bay (a short walk) and also peaceful and green

The lack of electric kettle, as an avid tea drinker I prefer a quick boil. But can't think of anything else. Gas did run out on us, but was promptly rectified

Fantastic hot tub and lovely garden, very relaxing stay and very attentive hosts thank you! we had an amazing breakfast at a local beachfront restaurant and a lovely time at the beach even in the wind!

There were five of us but the sofa bed wasn't really fit for purpose, very uncomfortable, would suggest a group bigger than four would struggle. The children's swingset in the garden is mostly broken.

Helpful, friendly hosts, cleaning wasn’t to our standards, nice place in general but on the pricey side for what you get

The free use of the trampoline (for the kids) use of the hot tub with complimentary slippers, it’s in a good location to the beach, friendly hosts

There was mould in the bedroom, lots of dust under the bed, no heating up stairs, a child’s toy and a coke bottle under the tv stand, shame breakfast wasn’t included in the price (however we did know about this before booking)

Really good stay was left to do what we liked and owners were very nice

We thought the location was brilliant and near to everything shops pubs beach

The only thing we didn’t find brilliant was the sofa bed downstairs and also the 2 single beds which we didn’t find really comfy the hot tub was amazing but would love to visit again

3 go wild in Colywn Bay

location is just a short walk from a busy high street with plenty of shops, pubs & places to eat. The hot tub was a welcome place to relax at the end of a busy day. The coach house was clean, beds were comfy plenty of spare pillows & quilts. The hosts David & Iona were so welcoming & nothing was any trouble if you needed anything .

would have liked a couple more hand,tea towels & oven gloves. we would have like a wooden spoons as we didn't want to damage pans.

Great place to stay!

Great location. Great place to stay ..very comfy and clean. Would highly recommend staying here. The hot tub was a lovely way to end each day . The kids said the hot tub was the best part of Wales!! Hosts were brilliant too.

Great house, super hot tub, would love to come back sometime :)

Lovely comfortable house, beds were excellent. The hot tub was great, and was diligently maintained by the host. The garden was very nice, with seating area and loungers. Kitchen was well equipped with dishwasher. Location was in a peaceful spot, a short walk to the beach.
