Clean and comfortable
The check in was strange. We got to the property and it was empty but there was a number to call. We called and messaged but no reply. We had nowhere to go so we camped in the car park in our van. A few hours later a guy pulled up and gave us the code to get in then he drove off. We were the only ones in the building. It was weird but we were out of the cold.

The room was very small

Location near the ferry to Grimsey is best feature. Clean.
The worst place I’ve stayed in Iceland for the price. An impersonal, characterless, and comfortless hotel with an industrial, Soviet vibe. Tiny room, incredibly tiny bathroom. No coffee maker or tea kettle. Overpriced, and no breakfast included. Long dark corridors.

the cleanliness & the location is free from the fish smell (due to town is a fish town)
though the design is liked 1980s but I’m okay with that… if I would comes back to this place, I will still stay at this hotel.

Staff and breakfast
Older shower and bed, but everything was clean.

There was ample space in the dorm, there was only one bunk and the rest were single beds, and there were bedside tables and a wardrobe. The view was pretty awesome.
There could have been more bathrooms as it was shared between many.

Probably the worst hotel in this price range. It's worse than any guesthouse I've stayed in Iceland. 5 rooms, more than 12 people and only 1 toilet.

Good location! Close to ferry and bus stop so it was convenient for me since I was traveling without a car. Very refreshing to have a good breakfast with fresh vegetables, bread options and toppings, meats and cheese so I really filled up before hitting the road again. Nice quiet room and friendly staff.
Shower wasn’t the most convenient but it was fine for one night.
