Good location close to railway station, bus stop and town. Nice view from room. Friendly hosts.
The room was quite small and the shower was rather feeble. The breakfast wasn't to my taste. The fridge in the room next to the bed was noisy.

A great breakfast. Slightly different every day. Nice little fridge which had Milk, Orange, Cereals, Butter available.
A slightly older accommodation, but not an issue. Clean & tidy.

Lovely room and host , location and view awesome , breakfast table in room great idea.
Only minor but hardly any water pressure in sink in the en-suite and shower could on top setting be warmer but it is summer.

The property was very near the beach and town and next to the bus and train station so very accessible. The owners were very welcoming, the room lovely clean and spacious and the bed very comfy. Continental breakfast was delightful - beautifully presented, something hot every day and more than I could eat. Would highly recommend.

Breakfast was amazing and served in the room, different every day and always tasty. The view must be one of the best views of St Ives bay and the coastline. Its also so close to the shops, bars etc the car stayed parked. The room was so large and comfortable, bed was large, fridge in room and a large shower in bathroom.
The only snag is the initial parking up to get to the Golden Hind. once Alex shows you where to park your sorted

Fab views, fresh breakfast lots of different choices , large rooms , clean , friendly hosts . Good position to walk into town , beaches etc only a couple of minutes
Poor water pressure, disappointing when having a shower . Opposite bus turning /pick up point noisy with windows open but didn’t spoil our stay . Some may find this a plus point as you can catch the scenic bus from this point too .

Large room on top floor. 2 tables with chairs- 1 at each of the big picture windows overlooking the harbour. 1 set for eating at which made for a lovely breakfast time and one for relaxing at. Plenty of plug sockets.
Only a shower but good pressure, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner provided.
Bed very comfortable.
Continental breakfast delivered on a tray every morning at 08.30 and left outside door. Every breakfast was different and well presented. They varied from scrambled eggs, cream cheese and salmon bagels, toasted ham sandwich but always accompanied by toast and croissant or toasted teacake, fresh fruit, cereal boxes. Fridge in room which contained fresh milk, butter, jam, marmalade, yoghurt, bottled tap water..
Excellent location for everything St Ives has to offer and is a quiet B&B (adults only).
Parking about 10min walk up steep hill(£8.40/24hrs). There is parking in train station directly over road from the the property at same price but only about 50 usable spaces ( rest are permit holder spaces). Not too much of an issue if you are fit & weather is ok to transfer luggage but bear in mind if not too fit. (Not the property 's fault as parking is a nightmare in St Ives)
Hosts not overly friendly- more in efficient category. Greet you at the door after chasing ETA the morning of arrival. Knock on room door when leaving breakfast outside room. Anything you want replacing (towels, condiments etc) has to be put outside room by 10.00 with breakfast tray and there is a snarl if you don't do this. Other than that no contact and do not check everything is OK or give out any info
No choice of breakfast time so 08.30 might be too early for some although seagulls on our flat roof usually woke us at 05.15 anyway.

The bed was comfortable.
The breakfast toast cold and hard.Fruit not very fresh.Milk and orange juice had no date on them.Coffee sachets were dated 2019 as were the sweetners loose teabags .Furnishings not clean spillages on them drawers had hair and crumbs inside. All surfaces very dusty shower drain filthy and thick with hair.I bought bacterial wipes washing up liquid for my dishes to clean before i used anything.I cleaned the lid of the kettle and the fridge had spillages on sides and door.

Location was very good, lovely views from the room. Breakfast was nice as had a variety and hosts were easy to talk to and friendly
I messaged the host to advise that I was vegetarian however I didnt receive a response and then the next day the main part of the breakfast was a salmon and cheese bagel which I couldn’t eat. I don’t believe the room was checked as the day before we left we had run out of toilet roll however this was not replaced so we ended up buying our own.

The view from our Superior Room on the first floor was excellent overlooking the harbour. The bathroom was spotless and well appointed. The king size bed was very comfortable. The room was very quiet and we had a great nights sleep.
I would have expected an option of a Full English at breakfast.. or maybe a Full "Cornish" !
However the buffet breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice.
Parking at the Golden Hind is very limited, so check first. There is a public car opposite, but the Car park was full when we arrived.
