Most relaxing enjoyable stay.

We were lucky to score Room 10 decorated in a Balinese style. Although there was no room service provided (reason given as Covid) we were well provided with towels etc for our 5 day stay. Very spacious room with amble sitting space and a kitchenette. Well located within walking distance of restaurants/cafes.

Room was very clean unfortunately we didn’t sleep well as bed was unstable due to trundle frame underneath

The large bed had wire trundle frame under bed that made the bed unstable and bed squeaked as the wire frame was caught Plantation shutters need to be replaced as all do not work correctly

Very comfortable for our overnight stay

The motel room was large and spacious with plenty of storage if we had needed it. It was very clean. It had all our requirements for an overnight stay. There was a sofa where two of us could sit. The motel backed on to a road that was fairly busy, and we thought this might be an issue. However we had no problem sleeping or being disturbed.

Bed head was broken and banged against the wall if you lent on it. Lamp shade was broken. Bed squeaked like crazy whenever you moved.

Nice clean spacious room with all amenities and a quiet location with easy walk to the tidal river.

Clean very spacious accommodation. It is only 200 metres from the river where there was a lovely walk I took each afternoon. Everything you need was provided in the suite we had. Balinese Atmosphere relaxed surroundings.

Every things was great nothing that we didn’t like.

Cute and comfortable, would definitely stay again

The rooms were super cute and there was a lot of attention to detail. The staff have really gone out of their way to provide a level of comfort to their guests.

The motel lights outside were shining brightly through our window shutters all night and it felt like day light brown the room even with them closed. It would be great if they were turned off at a certain time.

The beds were very comfortable, the shower was lovely and it was overall very quiet. The room was also a good size and had a separate couch. Very clean

The only issue we had was that the air conditioner would not turn on. I contacted the host to ask for assistance, and I also texted him, but he did not reply. Eventually we found a switch behind the bed! Once we turned this on, the air con worked.

Comfortable Boutique Motel in a Great Location

Andre and his family run a lovely little boutique motel, with about 9 rooms. The room we stayed in was a studio-style apartment suitable for two people. It was well equipped with bar fridge, microwave, a well stocked kitchen, and nice bathroom. Air conditioning works well, and it was well furnished with a sofa, queen bed and small kitchen table for two. There was a small but nice lagoon style pool adjacent to the BBQ area, with some outdoor seats. Onsite parking in front of the apartment, and washing facilities onsite as needed. Ballina Palms is in a very convenient location along the North Creek Inlet, just a short drive to the town centre and nearby surf beaches or bay.

The wi-fi wasn't the best while we were there, and we often resorted to using our phones to hotspot. Due to COVID there was no turn down service during our 6 night stay, however the staff were happy to provide fresh toiletries and free washing services during our stay instead.
