Little Gem in Polperro

The room was very nice. Clean and freshly decorated, soft good towels, shower room modern. Staff were all so friendly. Bailey loved his sausage in the mornings. The decor in the lounge area very nice. Free coffee machine and honesty bat was a superb touch. Location in village perfect. Breakfast was outstanding. Lots of choice and all cooked to order. Honestly one of the nicest I've had in hotels of this standard. Parking space ideal for this village. We would 100% stay again.

Nothing, but if i had to think of something then id say the room was a little warm and it was only 18 degrees outside. Would be more uncomfortable in hot weather.

A relaxing week in a beautiful location

Breakfast was flexible and they arranged breakfast rolls for days we left early. Location is exceptional and having a outside seating area at night was a bonus. Room was spacious with en suite Free coffee to patrons was always a bonus after a long day.

Rooms are always clean and tidy, staff are always friendly and helpful and the scrumpy is good

We have stayed at the Claremont many times and have always loved our stay - didn’t think it could improve, but the newer owners have improved the comfort and the staff are lovely and friendly and helpful.

There was nothing to dislike

Friendly staff, nice terrace at the front, breakfast available as a take away baguette, free parking

The room was very small, there is a very narrow staircase leading up the rooms so we straggled with our suitcases

stairs were hard to climb but understand it’s a very old property. Wardrobe difficult to access because of space restrictions.

Exceptional

The only bad part about the Claremont is leaving. As usual the staff are very friendly and went the extra mile to make sure our stay was perfect. The location is great just a short walk from the harbour. The hotel has its own car park, which in Polperro is a big plus. I would like to give a special mention to Becky for always having a smile on her face and to Di for the best breakfasts in the West. We'll done to both of you. We look forward to seeing you again in our next visit.

Great location, comfortable room and a lovely breakfast. Juliet was very accomodating as we needed a late check-in too, nothing was too much hassle!

Brilliant place to stay in Polperro

Breakfast was superb. The wonderful lady who served us was lovely and looked after us really well. Receptionist was also friendly and very helpful. One of the cleanest hotels we’ve stayed in. Centrally located with it’s own car park was a total joy.

First impressions from outside, the hotel looks a little tired, but don’t let that put anyone off, because inside is all freshly decorated

Comfortable stay in Polperro

The location is great, the rooms nicely appointed. Becky is wonderful. The breakfast was really nice, best porridge I've had in a long time and all the dishes were done with care.

Next time we'll not stay in the room next to the stairs/fire door. Once everyone is in, the room was nice and quiet.

Absolutely wonderful stay in a very comfortable and clean hotel with friendly owners and staff.

lovely interior decoration and very high quality furnishings. Complimentary coffee, tea and hot chocolate from machine in lounge was very welcome, as well as honesty bar. delicious breakfasts.
