Definitely recommend! Perfect for a peaceful get away to the countryside!

Absolutely loved the hot tub, great location to walk to the village. Would much rather stay here then a hotel. So many facilities and right in the country side. Very relaxing!

A very relaxing & enjoyable stay in the perfect place. Would love to return someday.

Good peaceful location just outside the village with a short walk to the village centre. A bit of an uphill climb back from the village but well worth the effort. Great set up. Shepherd Hut very well presented with everything you need for your stay. Hot tub amazing. Enjoyed the outdoor living space. The outdoor pod is perfect for those chilly nights or to enjoy breakfast in the sunshine. Also, the bbq, outdoor kitchen and pizza oven enhanced our stay. The Pizza oven is a must and we were very pleased with our pizzas. Thank you Helen & Tim for being great hosts and also for the lovely scones & clotted cream on our arrival.

the hut was lovely, charming and had everything required for a short break. lovely touch with the scones and cream. we had a banner, card and cup cakes too as it was my partner’s birthday. the hot tub is lush! thank you so much ☺️

Perfect getaway!

Helen and Tim were the perfect hosts. The hut and surroundings are stunning, so relaxing and private. The hut itself was spotless! Everything you could need inside. A small Christmas tree and lights were a lovely festive touch! Excellent location, just a 5 min walk to Polperro. The furnishings inside and out are fabulous. It was so cosy with great attention to detail. Parking is at the bottom of the steps outside the hut. Allowing us to unload our car with ease. We loved our stay and would highly recommend it! 10/10! Thank you! 😊

A great little retreat, hidden gem in Properro. The hot tub was amazing, everything we needed in the Shepherds hut. Hosts are lovely and very accommodating.

Everything was excellent, however the bed was slightly uncomfortable and the linen wasn’t as soft we liked, but that’s just a personal preference, nothing worth complaining about as our stay was unique and it was amazing to have privacy under the stars. Carol & Paul

Enjoy every moment. Time will fly.

It is such a tranquil and private little place. You could switch off from the daily stress back at home. No neighbours to overlook your property, no noise just really nice. Everything you could possibly need and more is provided (e.g. bathrobes which was a really nice thing to have).

I can't really think of anything that we didn't like. Everything was really nice. From the welcome cupcakes & scones to the decor of the place. Even the parking space was perfect. We were worried as we have a van, but even though it is quite big and bulky there was space for it.

Beautiful, peaceful location just outside of lovely Polperro. Everything was perfect and very thoughtfully done. The wood fired hot tub made it really special.

Fantastic stay love it!!

Everything, great location, owners have thought of everything. Amazing comfy bed, 5 minute walk to nearest pub. It's so calming staying there you really can relax and unwind. We were only there 2 nights but plan to go back for a week later in year. Hosts are so friendly & helpful.

Happy Honeymoon!

The hut was super cute and really comfortable! There was a hot tub and a bbq which we used which was great to have, Like a mini home from home. We came on our honeymoon and Helen had left us a bottle of Prosecco and made us “just married” cakes which was a really nice touch!

Perfect

Tim was very helpful. Was there to meet them upon arrival and to show around and how things worked. Constant contact all throughout when necessary and responds very quickly to messages. They are very nice and went above and beyond. The car's battery ended up being flat by the end of the trip and Tim was there to save the day! I briefly mentioned it was a birthday and they had cake there waiting, saying happy birthday, truly amazing. 10/10 would reccoment

Perfect start to our holiday in Cornwall and Devon

Location was perfect for visiting Polperro and surrounding areas, a very peaceful location and the Shepherd’s Hut had everything we needed for our 5 night stay. Immaculately clean on arrival and the friendly host had already kept in touch the few days before we arrived. The hut is on the outskirts of the village (up a hill) and we loved the whole experience.

We enjoyed everything about our stay in the Shepherd's Hut.

Great place for a quiet break

Lots of thought had gone into the hut and its layout both inside and outside in that you were not overlooked. It was well equipped with everything you could need during your stay. Some essential items were provided (tea/coffee/milk etc) and a cream team was also provided which was delicious. One thoughtful touch was a dark make up flannel which my wife appreciated. Getting the temperature right on the wood fired hot tub was a challenge but well worth it and a lovely way to end the evening under the stars with a glass of wine.
