Hotel is so welcoming, comfortable, and warm; especially on the rainy day we arrived. Love the open fires. Staff were so efficient and friendly. Food was excellent. The room was spotless, cosy, and great views of the mountains. The views are stunning and location in the heart of Connemara is beautiful and peaceful.

On our visit we noticed the cleanliness of the hotel in the room, dining, bar and lounge.
There was nothing that we didn’t like on our 4 night stay at this hotel.

The breakfast was fabulous. They catered for all tastes and nationalities. The location was in one of Ireland's most beautiful areas. We had a sea view room we were looking out at Killary harbour. A couple of pubs and coffee shops within 10 minute walk.
Couldn't fault the hotel or location

Repeat visits. Fits all our needs. Comfort convenience and value. Being recognized on a repeat visit is lovely. We feel welcome every time.
We would like better staff uniforms. Gives a more distinct feeling between staff and customers, especially in the dining room.

Beautiful locations, a nice old building although a bit creaky. Food and drink was great. Staff were friendly and helpful.
No real issues. Breakfast staff seemed to be half asleep and not very switched on. But that may just be a one off.
3.5
Old style of hotel. Bar was nice. Beds were comfortable
Dogs in reception area and in piano bar. Could not see that this was a dog friendly hotel on Booking.Com or their website.
Especially as one of our children has anxiety with dogs this should be obvious to person booking

The location, the staff and the food were great.
There was nothing to dislike. Maybe the bathroom could have been cleaner and a smell of wet carpet as you enter the room, we stayed this time in the building next to the main hotel.
