I liked the cleanliness, the full English breakfast, the king-size duvet, the blackout curtain, and Netflix on the big tv.

Very clean, and really helpful staff, fantastic value for money!
Needed bottled water, water from taps tasted odd.

We had a dinner bed and breakfast tariff the food was excellent. Marina the duty Manager was a great front of house.
Room was a bit warm even with air conditioning and the window could not be opened. Room decor a bit dated.

The reception and restaurant staff were very welcoming and helped in creating a great atmosphere. Nothing was too much trouble and they handled a relatively rowdy group of eight perfectly. The evening meal was excellent with all plates being cleared.
The bathroom was a bit restricted, especially the shower. The breakfast beans were at best lukewarm.

A nice surprise and thankfully the parking was free.
A member of staff called Marina was about the only member of staff who seemed to care about the guests experiences. So would give her a raise.
The hot cooked breakfast was very nice.
I was not impressed by the greeting we got from Kevin on the desk. He did not make us feel welcome upon arrival, he also failed to inform us that we would need to ask for room service daily, hence our room never got cleaned or replenished. there was no information on this anywhere either.
Each day was different at breakfast. First we we told we had to book a time slot, then we were told by Marina that we didn’t, and to turn up between the allocated times. Some days the continental breakfast had yoghurts on ice, then didn’t the next. some days there were serving spoons and the next there weren’t any. Even when advising of the lack of spoons to staff on the Saturday of our stay they still failed to get them. Also provided wrong drinks at our table.
The bedrooms themselves were a bit tired in appearance dreary and old, and the mattress on the bed felt like it needed renewing. It was not comfy. 2 Pillows were provided but both thin. it would of been nice to have a choice of a feather pillow along with an alternative. Instead of a dining chair in the bedroom a small reading chair should be provided.
personally I would not stay here again.

the room was huge.. shower and bath was beautiful
nothing bad about the property

£10 charge on car parking after booking is a little cheap and cynical, especially when it does not apply for direct booking.
Comes across as a cheap and shabby money making exercise.

The night receptionist went above and beyond. He did everything he could to accommodate our party.

Bathroom a bit bijou.
Car parking at £10 per night if you book through a third party.

location perfect for a work training session. the staff could not have been better.
very basic, bed very uncomfortable. generally overpriced. would be marked lower if not for the staff that couldn’t of done more.

From the help we had from the staff member when booking, the friendly welcome we were made to feel at home immediately. The room was comfortable and well appointed and clean. Both the evening meals and breakfasts were a step above the norm too. Eat here and not the pub opposite! Best of all were the staff, they really made our weekend. Thank you to Donna and Marina. And the bar serves good Adnams and Camden beers!
Good value too.
With the windows open you can hear the A14, but to be expected as so easy to get to.
Ambient lighting in the room could be improved.

A really nice little hotel.Very welcoming receptionist. Our room was a little cold, but soon warmed up when we got the heater going.Breakfast was excellent, lots of choice on the buffet table, and a lovely full English served. We will definitely be back!
The shower was a bit tricky to adjust, and it seemed to be angled awkwardly.Only a minor thing. And we didn't want to pay the car park fee,so we parked in the road opposite.Don't think it's right that residents should pay to park!!

Clean comfortable, pleasant staff.
Used this hotel many times over the years
The new ridiculous parking charge ( an extra 13% on top of the room cost) for using the large empty gravelled area behind the hotel. To be honest this extra charge means that the price of the rooms are a lot less attractive with other hotels in the area and will make me look else where.

Nothing at all that disappointed. Staff all friendly & helpful. Evening meal excellent Breakfast ( we had continental) excellent wide varied choice
More than one night stay , we were in the area for a family wedding, but a longer stay would have been good.

Good location, friendly staff.
Asked for a room with a bath but the water was barely lukewarm, making bathing unpleasant. Fan heater in the bathroom did not work. Climate control unit was effective but noisy.
