Really liked the the cabin style beds - very comfortable and got given a duvet and a soft blanket and sheets. The hostel is very calm and veryyy quiet. Not a very social hostel - there was no one around after 8pm. The staff were also very helpful and around 24/7, food was prepared from fresh and tasted good. I was also very impressed with the high level of cleanliness in the communal bathrooms.
The ensuite bathroom in my dorm was not working so had to use the communal bathrooms. There was also much not advertisement on the events at the hostel.

gourment food. Had an amazing green curry and then some angel pasta with a pesto sauce that was fantastic. This place was perfect and close to all the main tourist things that you want to do in Bogota

We booked 2 6-person shared rooms for a group of 8 student travelers. The rooms were perfect for this type of travel. Great affordability, very safe and secure, nice courtyard views. The staff were friendly and helpful. They also secured us safe and affordable rides to the airport. Great experience!

Great central location with a great atmosphere where you can meet fellow travellers. Breakfast is good too. The top floor rooms are better than the lower ones

Fantastic and helpful staff
Great location
Amazing breakfast options
Hot water for showers
This is a hostel and the rooms are around courtyards so people are out there smoking and talking at all hours. The sound permeates into the rooms very easily which can be very annoying.

Very nice hostel in a good location. Great breakfast and friendly staff.
With my low knowledge of spanish would it be more helpful to have some english speaking staff.

friendly staff
Clean room
room was next to the bar and there was very loud music, even only a few people were there. The wall was poorly soundproofed, so you heard every word which was spoken in another room. Most time there was only cold water in the shower.

Location is great and vibe is very good. Breakfast was extremely good and with a lot of choice.
Bed of our room was so big and confortable
Room had no window

The hostel is beautiful, the beds are in capsules,, very comfortable, very private. They have individual lockers, individual lights, plugs. Only the dorms r small. With big backpack it can be very messy.
The staff is really nice. There's food n breakfast for a fair price.
The toilets are clean, have hot water.
Wi-Fi works good.
It's not a party hostel, but still social.
I'm definitely would go back.
Nothing. It's great.

Every time I’m in Bogotá I stay at Masaya and it’s always been great! Kike and the rest of the staff always welcome you with a big smile and everyone is very helpful and nice. Comfy beds with warm blankets, hot showers and clean bathrooms. Perfect location too!

The staff were super nice and the hostel itself was beautiful. Great dorms, comfy beds, yummy breakfast and strong wifi. We would definitely come here again.

The bed pods are comfortable and convinient. They helped us organise a tour. The breakfast was nice. The location is good for exploring the centre.
We booked here since we stayed at Masaya hostels in other locations - I was most disappointed with this one:
If you're part of a group you can book much nicer hotel rooms for the same price in Bogota, although maybe not in this exact area, but definitely in La Zona Rose. I feel like this area is actually quite dangerous and I didn't feel safe there at night. The rooms were pretty cold, it almost felt like camping and the bathrooms are outside the rooms so you have to go across to them. It didn't have as much vibe as the other Masayas. I regretted booking this place over the hotel - it's probably most suitable for single travellers, but if you're in a couple or a group, I would book somewhere else personally.

Cozy pod bed
Rain came through the sky light in our room. Towels were never an option, even if they cost money.

The best staff! Everyone was super friendly, helpful, and easy-going.
Location- on a quiet street and very walkable to museums, transit, food, shopping
The hostal had a great vibe. Not a party Hostel but can have some drinks/socialize and is a good place to meet people. Several clean bathrooms, each bunk bed has privacy curtain and little shelf with light and outlet.
stayed here on 2 occasions and would absolutely stay again.

Really great hostel with lots going on and felt very secure with privacy within the rooms.
The rooms were a bit cold, but a good duvet was provided.
