A comfortable stay in a great location with excellent breakfast.

Delicious breakfast, lovely service, very clean and comfortable room with a nice view. Excellent location and parking was straightforward.

Sehr gut

Das beste Frühstück aller Unterkünfte, die wir hatten (12). Problemloses einchecken, man holt sich den Schlüssel aus einem kleinen Kasten mit einem Code. Das kannten wir schon aus Island. Sehr gute Lage, wir konnten direkt vor der Tür umsonst parken. Mein Mann hatte seine Kulturtasche vergessen, wir erhielten daher eine Mail diesbezüglich, was sehr nett war.

Das ist keine Kritik, sondern Hinweise für andere deutsche Urlauber. Um den Durchlauferhitzer in der Dusche in Gang zu bekommen, müsst Ihr an der 2. Schnur ziehen, die von der Bad Decke, kommt. Hat eine Weile gebraucht, bis wir das rausbekammen . Den unteren Schalter auf 1. drehen, das ist die beste Einstellung, nicht zu heiß oder zu kalt.(s. Foto ).

Good breakfast arranged to fit me better with my tight schedule and late notice due to arriving late. Clean and a fridge plus other amenities.

Very good location and value for money

The room was clean and very nice. The size of the room is very good and you don’t feel like you are in a box. The room was facing the street but it didn’t feel noisy even though cars were passing by. Richard and Sarah are great hosts and their breakfast was delicious.

Wonderful stay at the Pendennis. The breakfast was really superb with a lot of choices and very tasty. The hosts Richard and were so welcoming, very friendly and helpful. Parking outside was easy. Very nice area. Highly recommended

Outstanding accomodation with best choice of breakfast

A large character Victorian terraced guest house offers an UNRIVALLED accommodation in its category and the BEST choice of quality breakfast in the area: from full English to Eggs Royale, Bennedict, or buttered kippers served with made-to-perfection poached eggs (2’30”) to American pancakes. The king-size beds with quality bedding contribute to a relaxing sleep. The property is in a quiet leafy location, that offers easy free parking. The hosts are professional, discreet and welcoming. The Pendennis will give long lasting memories of an exceptional stay.

It is a perfect location for walking and the town for eating and drinking. The room was lovely with a very hot shower and the breakfasts were superb! best omelette ever!

amazing guesthouse with super friendly staff. Richard and Sarah are very helpful and offered tourist attractions without even asking! I would definitely comeback! Nice room with a queen-sized bed, a table, 2 chairs, a sofa, a closet and a clean bathroom.

Shower can be a bit stronger.

A definite must-stay and come-back place

I liked how comfortable and quiet the guest house was. The room was spacious and very clean. The food was truly scrumptious (especially the pancakes with compote and yoghurt - yummy!). The breakfast station was surprisingly versatile and generous. The hosts were very pleasant, helpful and attentive. Well stoked up tea tray in the room. I liked the location too - not far from the major attractions. Parking was convenient on the road near the hotel.

Not enough light in the room - I couldn't see myself in the little wall-attached mirror near the washbasin. It would be better to have a separate mirror so I could place it near the lamp. The shower took me a long time to learn how to adjust the water temperature. It would be nice to have a cup for my toothbrush.

A very comfortable place with an exceptional breakfast.

This property is run by a very wonderful and friendly couple, Richard and Sarah. Breakfast was fantastic because Richard has culinary skills of a chef. Sarah is constantly making sure the guests are all well attended to and the entire wall of cereal, milk, juices, bread etc is evidence of the generous spread. We tried the full English Breakfast, Egg Benedict and Egg Royale. They were excellent. The rooms were spacious with nice clean sheets and towels.

Comfortable and very enjoyable

The best breakfasts I have ever had with plenty of choice as well. Location was fantastic, just a short walk to the seafront and the town but still easy to drive out of Penzance in a car. Richard and Sarah were great hosts.

Lovely stay in Penzance

Lovely stay, great room with lots of space. Room had nice en-suite . We had no issue with parking,lots available just outside.The breakfast was delicious, served in a lovely morning room. Self serve teas and coffees, cereal and toast as well as a good selection of cooked items.Every taste was catered for. Fantastic selection. Worth a visit
