Lovely grounds and pool
Unexpected charge of $60 for my second child. I booked a room with two full beds, but was told upon checkin that price I paid only covers two adults and one child. Not family friendly if you have more than one child.
Ants everywhere bathroom.

Everything! Amazing place!
The only regret I have is that spa treatment rooms are open from all the sides and it creates un nasty wind wich is unpleasant after hot jacuzzi and can be even dangerous for neck and back. I would cloth the rooms from 3 sides, leaving just the view in front open so there is no this air flow going through. However I liked so much this resort that I would definitely come back.

The views were spectacular, from the restaurant, to our room, and the pool. We haven't even mentioned the lovely 5 waterfalls & nature hike! Breathtaking. Our room was incredible. The balance of unique colors, flow of natural air and feng shui, with the capper for us all being that gorgeous mosaic shower with open air to the zen garden. Simply awesome. Our dinner including all vegetarian food & delicious cocktails was excellent. The service and breakfast were also superb, our best breakfast in Costa Rica. We've stayed at many nice hotels but this is our favorite.
There was nothing we did not like. Literally. And I consider myself a discerning traveler.

The staff were all most helpful and really good at their jobs. That includes those working at the front desk, to wait and cleaning staff, to those working in the Spa. The breakfast was ample and included as long as you didn’t want bacon or a cappuccino. Dinners were excellent for a reasonable price and our waiter even showed some good wine pairings!
Can’t wait to go back!

Everything. The beautiful artistic room, the magnificent nature, the wonderful caring staff, the food. This might be the best hotel ever.
Nothing.

The location and views are spectacular. The gardens are amazing and the art everywhere is unique and interesting. The staff are wonderful and so helpful and our room was beyond comfortable.
The restaurant was okay but nothing special. It did not match the quality of the rest of the resort ... not terrible but just bland and uninspiring though the service was superb. If we had stayed longer, we would have sought out other restaurants.

The property is beautiful; hiking trails to 5 waterfalls on property. Extensive flowers, foliage, etc. Views from room were spectacular and sunset is amazing. Staff is extremely helpful and restaurant was delicious for dinner and included breakfast. Great hotel 30 minutes from airport, but feels like you’re in rainforest!

I would give it 100 stars if I could! What an amazing place. We had our own villa with patio an majestic view. There were nature trails, 2 pools. I had a fabulous massage with Irene and someone waiting for me after to drive me back to my room in golf cart. We ate in the restaurant any it was also divine. So refreshing to have a change from usual rice and beans 😉. Friendly people, exceptional

Beautiful place, loved the room decor and the view and patio. If we stayed more than 1 night, it would probably be nice to have a more private bathroom (but the bathroom was gorgeous), as it's very open without doors. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was also great. We arrived in San Jose very late at night and decided to stay here overnight before leaving for Arenal. So glad we started our trip staying at this lovely property.
