We had a fabulous stay. The owners could not have been more helpful. Breakfast is not included, but you can purchase a continental breakfast basket which is delivered to your door with hot pastries and croissants, fruit and yogurt. Eat in bed on the lawn, the breakfast room or carry to the beach!! Extra supplies of tea coffee milk etc are in the dining room - A fridge to keep any of your snacks (wine) chilled!
That we had to come home on such a glorious sunny day! But the ferry was booked.

Excellent breakfast. Superb hosts. Exceptional stay.

Fantastic room with a pleasant view.
The shower was like dripping tap and could not get the TV to connect to the WiFi although it looked like it was compatible going through the settings. Was hoping to have a night of Netflix l
Although the parking at the property is limited, there was plenty of street parking. Never a problem finding a space.

Cosy, comfortable sized room. Very clean. Decent breakfast at a reasonable price. Friendly, welcoming owners.
Slightly hard bed and not so good for our bad backs (we have a much softer one at home)!

I would have liked a cooked breakfast, but only continental was available

Stewart & Lyn were excellent hosts, the place does them proud its loved and homey. Very clean throughout, all furniture in good order and tasteful. Room was a reasonable size with comfortable bed, drawers side of the bed along with another set. Separate good size onsuite bathroom with ample nice towels and on suite small room containing a wardrobe and vanity mirror and hair dryer. Coffee and tea facilities in room. Continental breakfast available with choices cereals, fruit, toast, pasties and ground coffee which was delightfully delivered in a wicker basket outside your door with a gentle knock at your requested time, missing that already guys lol. The breakfast you can eat in your room, downstairs or even outside, weather permitting. The place has loads of character. It has a downstairs lounge. You do have Seaview.
Stu & Lyn thanks for your hospitality.
No real issues.

Transport- I came by ferry to Ryde ; (without my car) and continued my journey by train and a very reliable bus service . The coastal walking from Cornerways is spectacular as is the location- Ventnor has its own micro climate- it was sunny & warm
with a lovely breeze off the sea- beach is small compared to Sandown or
Ventnor has a long history; its geographical location is spectacular that's why the Victorians came to holiday here. A few areas are needing restoration - its a popular seaside destination but the beach cannot compete with Sandown or Shanklin further along the coast- if that's what you are looking for. This review does not reflect the title - I had a lovely holiday in Ventnor

However, it may be of interest to other tourists to know that many of the restaurants in the area are closed or do not serve food after 3:00 pm and before 6:00 pm. This may change later in the summer, though.

Hosts were very friendly, helpful and accommodating.
Hotel was spotless - very clean and rooms very nicely decorated. With comfortable beds.
Breakfast was not included due to COVID restrictions despite no restrictions nationally - we could buy breakfast for £6 per person and this was served in hampers.
There was no aircon or fan in rooms making it very warm at night.
Hotel was a little further from main beach than expected but walkable.

The breakfast was a continental style, ordered the night before, and delivered to your door at the requested time. We liked this system very much.
Not, a criticism, but rather an observation, being a pensioner, and getting a bit unsteady, a grab rail on the wall for use when entering and leaving the bath/shower would be very welcome

The hotel is very clean, comfortable and peaceful with nice newly refurbished rooms. It also has a cute garden with seating. Breakfast was delicious, fresh and very affordable with good options to choose from!
The staff is extremely nice and accommodating, and made our stay a pleasure. Would definitely recommend staying at Cornerways!
Not a problem for us, but for those who are light sensitive note that the rooms have natural light in the morning.
