Note to self must read room description properly regarding Room 5 external bathroom.

Breakfast was lovely. Nice size family room. Great location. Owner was very nice and friendly 😊
Driveway and Outside needs some attention.

Tom is an excellent host. He made us feel really welcome and nothing was too much trouble. The cottage is located equidistant from the centre of Ironbridge and the lovely pubs by the river in Jackfield. The cooked breakfast was superb and we both really enjoyed it. We would happily stay again if we visit the area.
It was all good.
4.3
Breakfast ok. Partner has walking difficulties and found it a problem walking up steep private driveway.

The B&B was located in a rural part of Ironside and had lots of birdsong in the surrounding area. When we arrived we had easy access to the room due to the concise instructions by the B&B owner Tom. It was very relaxing and a walkable distance to the pub, the Black Swan, where we had a meal at.
Splitting hairs here, my other half commented on that there was no toiletries when he went for a shower. I had brought my own and offered him them.

Tom is a fantastic host - contacted us beforehand to give directions and help with booking somewhere for dinner.
Good breakfast
Great location within walking distance of Ironbridge village centre
Family room was large and spacious
Nothing really

Very good breakfast
Delightful friendly host
Excellent location for getting into Ironbridge and onto walking routes

Tom - the owner, is a nice guy. The house is old and interesting - just a short walk (provided you’re ok on hills), onto the iron bridge and then across into town. Very clean. There is a small resident’s lounge which we had to ourselves and was very nice to sit and relax in in the evening.
The decor is a bit old and tired. There was too much Union Jack paraphernalia around for my liking. My big problem was the breakfast - cheap ingredients (you can tell by the beans!), and morning coffee was sachets of Nescafé.

The lighting was abit poor

Host, Tom, is great, friendly, attentive and eager to help. Bedroom was comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was great.
If I try to think of something I suppose finding the place challenged me, probably my fault for not paying enough attention to directions supplied.

What a lovely quirky little place! Not too far from everything but in a lovely quiet location. Tom, our host was so welcoming, friendly and very informative. We had a beautiful room at the front, with lots of storage and a really comfy bed. The cooked breakfast was delicious and plentiful, we could have as much toast and tea etc as we wanted. Many thanks for an excellent stay. We are definitely coming back here next time we visit Ironbridge.
The shower was a bit temperamental, it took a while to get any heat through, but apart from that everything else was just perfect.

The location is amazing, right next to the Ironbridge. The room was huge, clean and excellent. Tom was an excellent host and breakfast was lovely.

We had a really lovely three night stay, should have really booked 4 nights to see all the local sights but hope to be back one day! Owner Tom was great - very friendly and helpful. Oh and the bath tub in the family room no 6 - it was simply gorgeous after bicycle-sightseeing around the gorge (PLENTY of pedalling up and rolling down heh).

Bed not good for us oldies!
4.3
I liked that it was a historic cottage with mod cons. It was warm, the bed was comfy and the cooked breakfast excellent. The owner was friendly and helpful. Nice calm atmosphere. I was able to get a phone signal there (Three), which is not possible in other parts of Ironbridge.
Unclear signage to find it when coming from the east.

A lovely, characterful house in pretty rural location with colourful gardens. Could not fault attention to detail with nothing lacking. Very clean, comfortable, excellent breakfast. Our host (Tom) was so friendly, considerate, helpful and kind.
Could not find anything I did not like.
