The host was INCREDIBLE!! She is very sweet and encouraged us to rest upon our late arrival. She was encouraging and helped us get around the area. The room was homey and had a nice patio area.

4.5
Great location, close to the action yet in a quieter neighborhood, and very friendly owners. Silvana even went above and beyond when she sent us back the Airpods we had forgotten by postal mail!
4.5
The location was excellent! In between Puerto Viejo and Playa Cocles. Close to amenities; small supermarket, bike rental just opposite. Owners live on the property and are always ready to help. Very easy going and relaxed vibe.
4.5
Lovely place along the coast that connects up to a trail. Silvana was lovely, providing us information and recommendations for the town.

Perfect location for beach access and walking trail!

location. close to beach and town.
no sea view as sold. ( not even partial view) . view on cladded roof/ parking and street. the apartment is not worse the money. I m adding photos that spoke for themselves.
4.5
the location and the staff. They help you with everything you need. In front of the hostel there is a beach where you can do snorkel, amazing!

I loved my stay here - the location is great, room was spacious, hosts are lovely.
The non potable water took a bit of getting used to, but they have big bottles you can purchase cheaply.

staff was very friendly and helpful. the provided information about the place and its surroundings and when asked to change to a different room the second night, they did it right away.
the first room in which we stayed it was hard to sleep as the music from the restaurant that is next to the hotel was very loud. We asked for a change of room the second night and the staff changed it right away, though.

Close to the beach, and a reasonable walk into town. Laid back environment.
There wasn't hot water or A'C, but that's not rare in this part of the world, at the price we were paying.
4.5
Friendly staff, location and accomodations
Too short of a stay

Location. Lovely little beach just a few steps away, and the coastal path to puerto veijo one way and playa cocles the other was wonderful.
Booked the sea facing apartment with balcony back in December, ie 4 months before travel, but when we arrived after a very long journey were informed that the people already in it wanted to stay so we were allocated a bigger apartment, but no sea view. With hindsight, we would have just left but hot and tired from journey, we accepted it. Room very tired looking, partner got electric shock from the shower! This is not the first time this has happened to me with Booking, but it leaves a bad taste, as I put a lot of effort into finding places to stay that suit us, and a balcony with a view is high on our priorities. Other than that, it was a young backpackers spot really. Other residents all a bit noisy at night. Didn't bother us too much, but wouldn't return. Lady in charge was very pleasant and friendly, but the room change meant we didn't get what we booked, so disappointed overall

Owner is super nice, it’s in a good location just away from the madness in the town. room was spacious and had little kitchenette. hot water in shower. place is very secure with gates around.
windows in the room were very thin so could hear a lot but not so much a problem just bring ear plugs. no air con.

The staff was really friendly and they helped us a lot with organizing bus trips and everything. The location of the accommodation was great! Beachfront, and even possible to swim between the rocks near by.
The kitchen could have been equipped better. There was no salt, pepper or oil.

It was very close to the beach and just a few minutes to town. Good restaurant next door and lots of restaurants in town. The owner was very helpful and caring making sure you were comfortable. Also room had a kitchen with small fridge and all utilities to cook. It is a pleasant place to stay.
Nothing.

Wonderful experience - the price is adequate to what you get. I was working remotely during my stay and wifi was really fast. Great location - just next to the beach. Lovely restaurant next to it; main town around the corner (yet you are far enough from the craziness). And best of the best - Silvana! Thank you for your hospitality. You made my stay so fantastic! THANK YOU!
I liked everything.

An excellent location. One could relax and sit by the ocean or walk a short way to the beach for swimming or surfing. Restaurants were close by and it was a short walk to town. The host was friendly and helpful.
The neighbouring facility was very loud, although it did stop at 11 PM.
