Very welcoming by host and nice large room.
Excellent breakfast and good nights sleep.
The drains in the bathroom smelt terrible and had to make sure the door was closed.

Exceptional service from every member of staff, a real credit to the management, what a fantastic team you have.
Beautiful location, comfortable stay a genuine warm welcome upon arrival.
Total professionalism from the moment we arrived.
Restaurant catered for dietary restrictions with the utmost care without any bother, this enhanced the comfort of the stay by taking away any apprehensions about being able to enjoy what the menu had to offer.
Stunning presentation from the Chef with a delightful 3 course evening meal and a perfect breakfast for us prior to departure which made the stay even more enjoyable.
Without question this will be our only choice for future stays in this part of the country.
Sensational.
I liked everything.

Superb food, very well appointed room. Despite being incredibly busy, the owner exuded an air of calm and serenity and could not have been more helpful.
Nothing, could not find any fault.

It was convenient for Diss. We had just sold our house and needed somewhere to stay before completing on our next house. All our financial transactions were done in Diss.
The room was very old-fashioned and dark. The bathroom was okay. There was a horrible green light above the door that kept me awake at night. It illuminated the whole room.
Generally, the lighting was odd. You couldn't have the bedside lights on without other lights in the room being on. Could not work out the sequence. The restaurant was really pricey and fully booked anyway. The White Horse a bit further down the road was a better option both for food and friendliness. The staff at the Auberge were oddly formal as if they were at a Michelin-starref place. No menus for breakfast, which led to me missing out on smoked salmon, which I would have loved.
Finally, the annoying loud music that greeted you when you entered the dining room was the final nail for me. Won't be going back.

Booked a night stay to celebrate my husbands birthday, the owners went out of their way to make us feel welcome and our stay special, our room was beautiful, lovley four poster bed , walk in shower, nice view , bubbly on ice and chocolates as a surprise for my husband , booked a table for that evening, , our table was decorated with balloons and banners, our meal was amazing , beautifully presented and tasted out of this world , nothing was to much trouble, breakfast was equally as good , my husband had a full English cooked breakfast, plenty of coffee , there was also pastries cereals if wanted , I would recommend to anyone, and we will definitely be returning soon .

Room was lovely and pricing was excellent given the included breakfasts.
Didn't expect the fine dining prices when my son and me went to eat. By that stage it was too late to eat elsewhere

Great breakfast, plenty of choice. Beautifully decorated room, fabulous walk in shower in a warm & cosy bathroom blEasy to find, just off the main road.
The road was a little noisy, but this went unnoticed after a while, due in part, to the superb hospitality

Although the property was close to the main road the traffic noise did not impact on sleep quality.
The room was clean, bed very comfortable and nice walk in shower. Good cooked breakfast.
It would have been nice to have had more choice of fruit at breakfast, there were just a few apples and a pear in a small bowl.
