Close to the train station. Bus B50 to the airport BSL is less than 2 min from the hotel.

Tolles Badezimmer!

The big shower
Expensive without breakfest include. Also the odd set up booking in two other Hotels all connected in the building.

The hotel is very old but staff were able to get us in a renovated room so, it was nice.
very close to restaurants and supermarkets. Staff are friendly.
Initially they gave us an old not renovated room but when I objected they changed our room to the renovated side of the hotel. They were nice and able to accomodate us.

location is excellent, easy access to public transport. cleaning service was fine, cleaned the room and changed the towels, internet wifi was working fine
i expected more. rooms kind of small and basic, no cupboard, only 3 hangers, no fridge, tv not working, very warm in the room, access to the room is not available with elevator - need to carry suitcase over stairs, elevator to the room - so neighbors were noisy during night.

large room, comfortable bed, great location close to train station, quiet location, nice shower, late check out

close to railway station

The room, though small, had everything one needs.
It is not easy to find the check-in, particularly when arriving late.

The location
3.5 / 5.0
Desk staff was very kind and showed the way to the elevator.
1) I should have known in advance that check-in is at the very evident (on the centralbahnplatz) Hotel Euler (pronounced Oyler). After walking around for quite a while using google maps I found someone who directed me there.
2) To get to the room, which is in the City Inn, connected to the Euler, I had to navigate a complicated pathway including two steep flights of stairs after getting off the elevator.

Location
Heating was off in whole building and an electric heating was given to us, however reservation already paid and staff did not mention absolutely anything. A discount should be applied.

Next to the Central Station, and with parking for the car (charging of electric car is possible too!).
Nice breakfast
Very good value for money
The room was clean but very small.

Check-in process was nice. The shower in the room was above expectations. The hotel was quiet and all slept well.
The breakfast was a big disappointment, it was not much of a buffet and the breads were dry as if having been out for too long.
There was very little information in the hotel room. Time of breakfast, prices, facilities etc.
The room windows couldn't open, not even a little. And the lighting was quite confusing.

Excellent location
Very weird construction, was getting lost trying to find the room from elevator and stairs, I stayed in a room that looked like an attic, I hope all precautions are taken against potential fire incident as it would be very difficult to get out.

location was nice. staff was nice. clean.
the room smelled weird and it was actually quite expensive.

amazing location just steps away from rail station SBB. comfortable and clean room. and truly some of the nicest people we encountered

Good location with parking available
Very small room (at least the one we got), non super easy to reach the rooms if you have a lot of luggage
3.0 / 5.0
Booked it exclusively because of it being close to Basel SBB. It is literally one stone throw away from it.
Turned out they have 3 hotels situated in a single old building and share the reception. That was somewhat unexpected and confusing. I didn't understand what the virtual check-in was supposed to do, if anything, it only adds to the confusion, since your name won't come up in expected arrivals in their systems since you technically is already checked in. The room I booked was not very nice, looks to be a converted attic. Two very small windows and locked in diagonal hatch you can't open. You have to navigate a somewhat non-trivial route to get to it. The room was also not reachable by elevator, I had to take two flight of stairs. Not a problem for me, but that was not obvious when booking. The shower head couldn't stay in the position, so you have to support it if you want to actually take a shower. A/C is noisy, but at least it was working, once I figured out the remote control.

Convenient location across from the train station, friendly stuff.
Room had direct view/access to rooftop with lots of mosquitoes.
Not a minus, but pay attention the single room is really as small as described.
