A fantastic relaxing hotel with easy boat access to the wonders of Venice.

Awe inspiring entrance, beautiful rooms with lovely olive grove views. Excellent and engaging client facing staff. Wonderful buffet breakfast. Beautiful views from rooftop restaurant.

A small crowded family pool. Rooms not cleaned when requested.

The service!

The room was not as good as I was expecting for the price and for been a deluxe . Small and not up to the standard of a J W Marriott. Hotel itself is very outdated. The location is a little inconvenient even do the free transfer to San Marco was excellent.

No information in reception (or at time of booking) about which facilities/restaurants were open Up-sold a pool room - despite the awful weather No net for the "pool" "Pool" was actually a hot-tub SHOULD NOT HAVE TO PAY £70 PER PERSON TO USE THE SPA POOL! Room was next to a store so it was very noisy - lots of banging and shouting early in the morning Tea, milk and coffee were not refilled in the room Bathrobes were not replaced in the room There were ants in the room TV only had two international channels - CNN and world news!

Very Disappointed!

I am very sad to be writing this review. We are having so much issues from the first day of our stay til the last day, ie shower not working, mattress very filmy, housekeeping not cleaning the room properly etc but the staff did nothing to amend the situation, definitely not a 5 stars standard.

Vale muito se hospedar.

Hotel sensacional! Tudo é ótimo e maravilhoso. O restaurante Michelin Dopolavoro é divino, o Sagra também tem comida e atendimento ótimos. O SPA é lindo e aberto, ótimo para descansar.

Sensacional!

O hotel é lindo, os funcionários extremamente atenciosos, os 2 restaurantes: Sagra e Dopolavoro (Michelin) são ótimos. A localização é fora de Veneza e os transfers são de 30min. Tudo é perfeito.

Ok place if you want to blow cash on a place to sleep and visit Venice all day long.

Staff was kind and helpful.

Other guests monopolized staff with unnecessary, selfish requests. Only met a few people who weren’t trying to prove how rich they were. Very snobbish. Complicated getting back and forth to the island, not hard, it just make things more difficult. Don’t think it was worth the money cause most of the time we weren’t in the island.

Un endroit magique ! Un service impeccable très pro, mais aussi très attentionné. Un buffet au petit déjeuner avec un choix extrêmement varié et des produits de qualité. Le restaurant, la Sagrada, Rooftop, est super chouette pour le avec une vue à tomber !

The location is perfect.It gives you the opportunity to relax after a day spent in central Venice. The hotel is great for a retreat. Really calm and peaceful!

Tolle Lage, Service noch zu verbessern.

Die Lage, das Design und die Ausstattung waren toll.

Leider hat der Service meine Erwartungen nicht erfüllt. . Es wurde nicht mal vanity kit aufgefüllt. Beim Frühstück war das Personal teilweise überfordert. Meine Sonnenbrille ist verschwunden und nicht wieder gefunden.

Gorgeous setting, looks like a big movie scene. Comfortable rooms, excellent food quality. Not your typical resort.

Peaceful and super relaxing place

It was absolutely amazing! Highly recommend if you’ve already been to Venice and stayed main part and you want to stay away from all that crowds and wants to chill! We did choose to stay because of it and it basically made us love Venice more! The hotel is in separate island only about 10-15 minutes by water taxi which we love and special things about Venice. ( or their complimentary boat ride) Once you arrive in style :) entertaining beautiful entrance of the hotel, you will feel suddenly so peaceful and feels like you’re world away from everything! Hotel has such beautiful grounds! Our room was absolutely stunning it was suites with huge private pool and deck we didn’t even bother their famous rooftop pool! Well we went to see and it’s beautiful but we loved our suite so much. One last and the most important thing was that we have two small dog with us and it was the most welcoming feeling that every staff & guests gave us we were so happy about that. Yes they charge a lot extra for dogs which I was shocked but at the end it was worth it because they had a great time!

Extra dog charge was incredibly high, £120 per dog. They kindly offer 2 for one this time but it’s still more than we’ve ever paid and we travel with our dog a lot and stayed many luxury hotels with them. I ask them to mention it on the website so people can prepare. But like I said above they were very dog friendly!

Unforgettable place! Amazin!

I could stay one week only in the hotel. Amazing place, quiet, very comfortable rooms, the breakfast it was unbelievable! The best ever! We can ride bikes around the hotel, go to the great SPA, have very good meals. The transportation from the hotel to Venice was very organized, the boats were excellent. So I loved everything is this place. One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed. Beyond great!!

Great Get Away Location

The hotel is really lovely. My husband and I spent just one night but it felt like we had been lodged for 3 nights. We loved it. Breakfast was really good with so much variety and fresh produce. We loved the grounds of the hotel. It is large with a variety of outdoor activities. The hotel is much nicer in reality than the photos. I am already planning my return this time around with more family and friends.
