A lovely first visit to Llandudno

Very well run hotel, obviously well loved by it's owners and clientele alike. Excellent breakfast, set me up for the day. great location and amazing view from the lounge. Friendly, well run and comfortable.

I'd struggle to find anything I didn't like.

Clean and friendly hotel with lovely breakfast

Great welcome , lovely hot breakfast quality food

Bed was a bit small . Shower was small too . But over all everything was fine . Would have liked more toast and tea with breakfast but didn’t like to ask as staff seemed busy .

A night in Llandudno

The hosts were very nice and friendly. They have created a welcoming and positive atmosphere, the fact that they were trying to find sustainable ways of providing breakfast was a big bonus. Breakfast was freshly cooked and were lactose free and vegetarian options. Great addition was the portable hair dryer in the room rather than the one attached to the wall - although I wasn’t able to use it due to issues with the hot water , therefore skipped washing hair.

The cleaning of the room wasn’t great, I have brought up an issue with the toilet, which has been resolved in a timely manner, although the bathroom and the room itself would need a massive deep cleaning. The window was also dirty, and the curtain had a funny smell. The electric shower wasn’t great, it was either too hot or ice cold - water came in waves, but as it was past 10pm, I wouldn’t want to raise this, really just wanted to go to bed, but wasn’t the best experience.

Definitely worth the stay and price. Would be looking forward to stay in The Shelbourne again in the future.

Nice Location, near to the town centre and just in front of the North Shore. Nicely managed property.

Good value, fit out purpose for a weekend away

the location was great

bathroom was small and needed replacing. the floor was warped from leaks and it smelt a little damp also. Breakfast was a little disappointing too

Pleasurable stay. Look forward to coming back in the future.

Excellent facilities, view of the sea was perfect, hosts and staff friendly, polite and courteous. Meticulous attention to cleanliness. Breakfasts were tasty and freshly cooked. Room was absolutely fantastic. Would recommend.

Neat and tidy. Nice seaview from our room window. It’s not too far to walk into town centre, around 10 minutes to popular restaurants. The cleaning ladies are nice and helpful.

Checkin time is 4pm. Rather late. We have to kill time to make sure we wouldn’t arrive before 4. No parking! Not as advertised on Booking.com. It’s only by reading the reviews now that I realised why they wouldn’t let us use their parking spaces : No to ALL Booking.com customers! I think that’s not fair. They could have charged us separately, such as not included in the room price. Very inconvenient indeed.

Slept well and had a nice breakfast.

Bed was really comfy and breakfast was very good. Bar and dining area very comfortable.

Interior quite dated, I tend to like a mixture of old and new. We felt there wasn’t a lot to do in Llandudno except for the promenade walk.

lovely sea front location. great breakfast choices. fresh food prepared and presented well. happy and attentive staff. cleanliness attention given. small friendly family owned business, staggered breakfast to avoid crowding. free wifi appreciated.

room and bathroom quite small but had everything needed for short break. furniture and decor a little tired looking, could benefit from upgrading.

Tasty breakfast, a good variety to choose from served by a friendly and helpful member of staff. Great location, near the town centre and seconds away from the promenade and beach.

The hotel is in the perfect location for what ever you want to do in Llandudno . spotlessly clean , staff very friendly & helpful nothing is too much trouble . Even gave us a map with all the information for all the local attractions
