The breakfast was good and was served by a delightful lady .
The venue is old, tierd & unkept.Beds uncomfortable & insect bites were the order of the day.
The barbecue area was untidy with plastic chairs that needed a wash like the rest of the garden furniture. The barbecue rosters dirty. The communal kitchen just as untidy & the cabinets need cleaning.

Tranquility and close proximity to the Elephant Park.
The owners are great, sisMiso with her warm hospitality we didn't want to leave, very homely. We loved everything, the country feel, beautiful well curated garden, generous breakfast, I can go on and on 😀
The fact that we had to leave 😪 🤦

Very warm welcome by Rose. Breakfast was nice, we were in a hurry cause we wanted to catch a day safari and they were very accommodating. It's just a short drive to the Addo Elephant Park.
The gate of the property usually works electric but due to load shedding the battery of the gate breaks down frequently. You hat to honk every time you wanted to get in or out which worked out but I'd rather not being dependent on others if I just want to go to or come back from a restaurant.
During load shedding you had only a portable led lantern for light, other guest houses we visited had solar panels and battery packs which adds a lot of comfort being able to charge your cell phone and have some light even during load shedding.
Since you are on an organic farm there of course are a few insects and mosquitoes, many guest houses offer a can of peaceful sleep in case you weren't prepared for mosquitoes, that's something they could consider for future guests.

The hosts were very kind, the rooms were comfortable and the decoration was lovely.
There were no complaints. Only thing to say is that there is no village near by.

Breakfast serving times little confusing. Good home baked bread, but variety of foods limited.
No wifi in the rooms and very limited channels to watch. Need small plate or two and a good light when power cuts. Thought there would be more farm 'activities' for guests to watch/ enjoy as this is what the name states. Was looking forward being on a 'farm'.

it’s a perfect little oasis, clean and quite. perfect stay for seeing the elephants.

Great location, great hosts

The host, Keith, was informative and attentive yet unobtrusive. Freshly squeezed organic orange juice with breakfast a bonus. Gift of frozen orange juice for the road a nice touch. Suggested nearby River Front Restaurant for dinner - fairly basic but a real gem with delicious vegetables and desert.

It’s on a pretty farm and the owner is a lovely person.
I got bed bug bites all over my face.
Was hoping for a tranquil bush experience, but had loud music and people partying so loud that could be heard from the farm while trying to sleep.
Felt as if we weren’t given our space away from the hosts. They braaied before us on our fire and we had to wait for the utensils, and the nanny told my daughter to move off her chair at the fire and go to another chair.

A simply charming place. We slept well, work and had a delightful breakfast by a wonderful cook who pronounced our eggs ‘happy eggs from happy chickens’! They tasted happy, as described! We always love places like this, where the hosts don’t intrude, but gently drop in a little knowledge so one can make sense of one’s surroundings. I cannot recommend highly enough.

We really enjoyed our time at Rosedale. It is a great place for exploring the Addo Elephant NP. Keith and his wife are great hosts and we felt like being at home. And no complaints about mosquitos, thanks to the new A/C and the window mesh!!! And thank you Keith for the extra tour through your farm.
