Can't say enough about this place. We had the best stay! The tarven is a home away from home. The food is very very good, breakfast was fabulous. Bed was very comfortable and room very clean. The hosts micheala and Mark were so friendly and nice and couldn't do enough for us. We asked Micheala would she do us some finger food for a small group of people..she put out all the stops the spread was amazing 👏. Would highly recommend the causeway tavern B&B. We will definitely come back to stay in the future.

Clean bright and comfortable
A wee minor issue - it’d help to fill the kettle would be to have a wee jug as taps don’t allow kettle in

The location was excellent for the Giants Causeway, which was only 1-2 miles away, and other surrounding attractions. The breakfast was very good and the bedroom was comfortable.
It would have been good if the WIFI extended to the bar area, and not just the bedrooms.

The location of this tavern is ideal when your want to spent some days around the giant causeway. The parking in front of the hotel is practicle and it is nice you can drink a night cap before going to bed. The lady is very nice and helpful. The bed is okay and ones we doing our how the shower worked out was nice to take a shower 😀. We had an European breakfast with lots of fruit. On picfures from people 7 years ago also this did not change a thing 😂.
The hotel needs a refreshment, a re-do, a make over. It smelt old and I still don't know how to wash my hands in the sink in the bathroom. It was not the cleanest, but when you like sticky table tops, this might be your place to be.

It was perfectly situated. Clean rooms & fantastic breakfast.
The handbasin taps are a bit difficult to use with one hand as they are push taps.
Booking.Com need to update the cost of breakfast to £7.50 on the website.

Breakfast was good, very enjoyable.
The bed. The mattress needs to be replaced. It was high on one side and low on the other. We could not get a good night’s sleep.

Only staying the one night, but my room was clean, well presented, and comfortable with an en suite.
Breakfast was excellent in again a clean, well presented dining room.
Machaela, my host was friendly and the craic in the bar was great.
I would definitely stay again.
Nothing, I had a comfortable, relaxed stay

If you’re expecting this to be a busy, friendly Irish pub then you’ll be disappointed.

Lovely old tavern in a quiet little village. The host Michaela is a warm and funny person who cooks up a mean breakfast. Nice an close to the major attractions in the area and a great little bar an an evening chat with the locals. Highly recommended

Good breakfast and clean room. Pleasant staff and good parking at rere
It was fine for a two star property. Its a bar with accommodation overhead. A little remote so you won't be walking anywhere for dinner or lunch. The price being charged was way more than it was worth in my opinion. But that's Booking.com for you !

nice warm fire in the pub

The room was not large, but the bed was, which was great!
Breakfast was excellent with tasty sausage, bacon etc as well as fruit juices, cereals and jams available.
The bathroom was tiny but not much can be done to make it larger, so overall it was acceptable

Had a very good stay staff and locals were lovely. Room was a good size had everything we needed. Breakfast was lovely, simple selection but it clearly works for the business.
Was a wee bit dated and mix match of furniture in the room. Bathroom sink wasn't very big and the taps weren't great so trying to use the kettle was impossible. Maybe the offer of a bottle of water incase someone wants a cuppa.
