We loved everything about this accommodation! The staff were great and very helpful. The hostess was very accommodating asking how everything was and gave us recommendations. The room was well equipped if you wanted to eat in. The outdoor area was lovely and all rooms had a private dining table. But my favourite was having the cats and turtles and dog who were around the place from time to time!
The extra paid breakfast was a little disappointing, the bread was a bit dry and the juice was a cordial. And the extra coffee was filter but there was an pod machine in the room. Would have preferred to pay a little bit more and have a nicer breakfast.

The location is good.
There was an awful smell in the apartment. We were told that previous guests used to cook something with spices and garlic and there is nothing that can be done. So we had to keep the windows opened despite the cold and rain.
It was really horrible and very annoying:((
4.0
Beautiful room and grounds with everything I could need. Lots of space and separate areas and a large table
It was a bit of a walk up a steep hill but I knew that as the price was very reasonable.

location is nicely up away from the busy Main Street though still very accessible by foot. Close to a nice pizza restaurant/bar and a little market.
Walls are a little thin so if you are a very light sleeper it may be tough but if that doesn’t bother you there are no negatives!

Beautiful mountain view and great size of the room!
3.5
A very Italian style quaint home. The family is very welcoming and nice they are so helpful and allowing to use the facilities like picking the fruits.
Great location, a walk away from the fairy to bellagio and to a near quaint pizzeria.
The only problem is, that there is no breakfast included which kind of contradicts the name (B&B).

The landlady was friendly and helpful
The location is not the most convenient

Casa Pini is well located in Griante, up a steep hill from Cadennabia (be prepared to walk up hills if you're not driving everywhere!). Michela, the host and owner, was friendly enough (as is her very characterful father).
The property is an old house up on the hill, and the rooms are accordingly nice but dated. There's a pleasant garden you can chill in if you want to, and Michela has lots of lovely pets (including a turtle!) that roam around the property.
All in all, it's a decent cheap (relative to other places in the locality and Lake Como region altogether), to use as a base for exploring. Note it is NOT a hotel that provides any luxury so don't book this is that's what you are looking for.
Three things:
1. Although we never mentioned it to Michela, given we were only there 3 or 4 nights, our bed was broken and very, very squeaky. This needs to be replaced, and I'm sure she would have had we mentioned it to her.
2. It's obviously really hot there over the summer, so be warned the rooms have no air-con. Don't book if you need this. The fan provided did very little.
3. The room we had contained a sweet little kitchenette however, although lots of kitchen utensils had been provided, it would have been helpful to also provide a few basics such as tea bags (there is a coffee machine with pods I think), salt, pepper, maybe sugar, that sort of thing.

The lady that runs the place is just amazing. She was so nice and friendly. She recommended to us nice places to have a pizza in Como. Also, we arrived late and she waited for us plus gave us some olive oil, salt and vinegar for our salad. It was really clean inside and it had all the amenities that you would need. There was even a garden table and chairs to have your dinner/breakfast in her garden. There is also a lovely dog on site that is just so friendly and cute. Thank you for making our stay special.

Very nice feel of living in an Italian villa, quiet neighborhood, nice garden and welcoming host!

Nice big room, more like an appartment.
In a very quiet ans green area. The town has some restaurants with nice views. In the town itself there is not so much to see. You can take a boot or bus to travel to the other parts of the lake.
The owner has a sweet cat and dog.
The bed was making noise when we were moving in bed. So I woke up multiple times because of the noise.

Location excellent as were the facilities. Had everything you need in the kitchen and living area. Bed comfortable. Neighbourhood extremely quite with great views of surrounding mountains. Would highly recommended and would go back if in Como again.
Nothing.

Micaela is an excellent host! She has even offered us bottled water because we could not find any at that late hour when we arrived. Communication is great with her, she is really welcoming.
The room we stayed in had one large double bed and one single bed, a kitchinetta and a sofa. Basically everything you would neex for a nice stay. Outside each room there were tables and chairs where you could sit and marvel at the mountains. And the birds twittered the sweetest sound!
The villa is uphill a bohemian village, so quiet in the evening, really nice.
And last but not least, the cats are a delight! :) so fun to be around :)

We had a wonderful time staying at Casa Pini. We were welcomed by very warm and friendly owners who offered us some useful tips. We were able to leave our luggage in the morning before check in.
The room was spacious, comfortable and very clean. We were super happy to see a coffee machine.
There is a bit of an uphill walk to get to the property so if you are traveling by public transport keep that in mind. I would happily recommend to stay at Casa Pini.

Host was excellent, friendly, inviting and helpful. She even gave us details of the restaurants open nearby and how the ferry system on Lake Como operates. The room was very spacious and came with a small fridge, kettle, microwave, coffee machine, crockery and cutlery in a kitchenette area with a table and chairs. The room was also very neatly laid out, clean, warm, comfortable and pretty. The accommodation exceeded my expectations and I would highly recommend it to anyone in the area.

Great location, clean apartment.
Great host who helped us organize the transfer from Como late at night.
Everything is excellent

The host was very kind. A cozy place to stay when traveling in transit.

Nice apartments and amazing garden terrace. The host lady is also very helpful.
It was a bit cold bit we were explained that according to the laws of this region the heating can be turned on only after 15 Oct.

The small kitchen was perfect. There is a patio area in front of the apartment (no lake view.) Easy parking on the street was never a problem. There is a little bar around the corner. Only 10-15min walk to the ferry. Just what we needed.
The mosquitos in the room were too friendly. Floor was not clean.
4.5
A very welcoming and friendly reception despite our late arrival and some very helpful tips to visit the lake. The room was clean, very large and well equipped for longer stay.

Wonderful accommodation, perfect location, lovely hosts.
We will definitely come back!

Quite spacey room with a cute garden with a private table. Also a very quiet location slightly up the hill, but only a 7 min. walk down to the main street. We also could park out motorcycle on the driveway or in the garage for free.
Michela was super helpful and speaks English and German too.
No air condition, but with the fan it was perfectly ok as well.

4.5
Quiet place but close to the ferry from which it is easy to visit main attractions. Friendly hosts, cozy and clean apartment with private terrace - everything you need:)
On a hot day it gets very hot in the apartment as well, especially in the evening. But that was a small issue to us as we spent most of our day out :)

Michela, the cleaning, the place. All brand new.
