Great breakfast, such a cozy and unique place. Loved all the artwork and the host had so many great suggestions for where to go. Beds were comfy and appreciated all the creative decor.
We spoke to a woman that said she would only be there until 6pm for us to check in. We got lost and didn't get there til almost 7pm. She did wait for us and was welcoming when we arrived.

The Stop house is very nice place/ room for the art lovers with books library and nice common atmosphere, the room was fine but a little too small for us and the breakfast is kind of fancy, but not so tasty as expected. I think also they should afford coffee machine for the price they are charging. The host is very kind and attentive
It is far too expensive for my selection criteria- size of the room and of the bed as well as breakfast - coffee

Having to leave!!

Great location, fantastic host, lots of local information given, breakfast was perfect (so nice NOT to have Irish Breakfast).
Not that it was a big deal, but the room was very small…we knew that when booking, so again, not a big deal.

it was very clean and decorated in a restrained and relaxing fashion. The friendly staff prepared a great breakfast and kept up everything as you would hope for. I wish we stayed for a longer visit. Thank you Russell and team!!!

The Stop is an absolutely wonderful place to stay in Galway. We loved every part of our time there. The staff are welcoming, kind, and helpful. We had a delicious breakfast each morning and a comfortable place to sleep each night. The entire house is charming and relaxing. It has a common areas for all to enjoy, and so we were able to put our 2 young children to bed upstairs while we relaxed downstairs. We would 100% stay here again.
Everything was wonderful. Nothing not to like.

Beautifully appointed and decorated. Russell was an exceedingly helpful, gracious, and generous host. The breakfast was wonderful. the location is a short, very pleasant walk from the main tourist and commercial area of Galway. We were very comfortable there with our two teenage daughters.

The Stop is a real gem of a B&B. The minute I walked in the door, I enjoyed being there from the welcome from Daniella to the tasteful decor throughout and the comfortable bedroom and shower facilities provided. Breakfast was exceptional, bringing a delicious twist to your normal breakfast fare. Russell could not have been more accommodating with my special requests and helpful with my queries. When in Galway again, I will definitely want to stay at the Stop.

Galway is a fantastic place to visit, loads going on with plenty of bars & restaurants, some with live music & other entertainment.

Great breakfast and location. Nicely curated art and music selection
I spent a sleepless first night in a ground level room overlooking the parking. Because it’s a house, the floors creaked every time someone upstairs walked. The bathroom was so small you could hardly turn around in it. No horizontal surfaces whatsoever to place bags or belongings. That room is at best a one person room, is definitely not suitable for couples and especially ones on their honeymoon as I’ve expressed in my reservation. Thankfully they moved us into a room upstairs after that night but I did not appreciate at all that assignment for our first night.

Location was great - convenient to busy Latin Quarter and town center as well as Salt Hill Promenade but in quiet West End with good restaurants

Great house, comfortable bed, lovely and welcoming staff, breakfast was fab (the food and the music - thank you particularly for Sade)and easy walk into the centre of town.

The host was fantastic as well as the location. We enjoyed the breakfast and all of the information about Galway and the surrounding area to make our trip even better than expected.
Nothing. Enjoyed everything about The Stop.

We have stayed here before and came back because we loved it - it did not disappoint! The location can't be beat - it's quiet but only a short walk to the old quarter and some great pubs with great trad music. The staff is amazing - friendly and very helpful. The breakfast is the best I have EVER HAD in any hotel or B&B. Love the turntable with the albums that play at breakfast (and are available to guests to play at their leisure). The beds are super comfy and love the room design - every comfort is there even if the room is smaller.
The bathrooms are tiny - makes showering a bit tight.

Bathroom very small & tv somewhere ie room or lounge would have been nice

Breakfasts were amazing. Our host, Russell, was very friendly and helpful. The soap was probably the best soap I have ever had in any hotel.
The shower room was a little cramped.
