the location is good, close to playa langosta
THEY DONT GIVE INVOICE WHICH IS ILLEGAL IN MEXICO! I reported them in their front desk to SAT, and will make the conciliacion de factura in the SAT Website. CHARGING IN DOLLARS IS NOT AN EXCUSE FOR NOT MAKING INVOICES!!!!! they also refused to provide me their RFC and Razon social, please someone call the police. they are evading tax!

The close to beach location
The hotel is not well kept. The painting outside is black, and with mold, you don't see that from the site pictures. The common areas were dirty, and the room was not cleaned well and with a bad smell in the bathroom. The bathroom fixtures are old and broken. The food is of very poor quality for the prices they charge. I don't recommend this place. Reality is very far away from pictures and reviews. I'm not trying to sabotage, I travel a lot, and it s my third time in Cancun in the last 3 years. This was the worst experience.

Nice location. Lots to do in the area and a good swimming pool for the family.
The rooms are dated, could do with painting and the equipment didn;t all work, we had a microwave/kettle and coffee machine all plugged into an extension cable so not too safe either.

On rainy days, a game room or mini theater would be nice.

Nice breakfast. Good location on the beach and close to the puerta marina. When checking in we were given a room upgrade. The apartment was great, very spacious.......
The pool/beach bar was a bit weak, even weaker drinks.....

the beach
the staff was not helpful at all! especially at the restaurant I seated and basically did everything myself. including getting my drinks.

great location /clean
room needs a bit of updating

LOVED the beach right in front of the hotel: perfect sea level; shallow enough for my baby daughter, beautiful water most of our stay, and great beach with enough seating options. Loved the breakfast buffet: great variety and fresh food. Enjoyed the three different pool areas too and the towel services!
The hotel needs some updating and upgrading. You could tell it’s a older hotel from the 80/90s from the decoration in the room, the old full carpet in our room, the infrastructures and cracking walls/humidity on the building. I actually think there must have been some mold under the carpet in our room as I had some bad coughing fits every night while staying there 😬😖

The proximity to the beach, cleanliness around the grounds, the hammocks provided and the shop. Breakfast was good; would have liked fresh juice not the sweetened squash version.
Staff at the bar were chaotic and not engaging. The bar is poorly stocked and the card machine does not work, so ordering a drink is painful. No wonder most guests buy drinks from the shop and drink them at the pool.
There is an outdoor pizza oven, but it is shut down at 6pm because the thatched roof has large holes in it and leaks in a downpour. It has an unattractive white tarpaulin over it, which sticks out.
The room needed maintenance; the shower ceiling had rust/mould on it, the patio door handles were loose.
If you want to eat out, other than getting a taxi, your choices are very limited.

Prices were reasonable at little market inside hotel.
Everything. Hotel advertises Waterpark, but that is an extra charge. Unit had a kitchenette so we decided to grab a few things from the store for dinner to cook up. We quickly realized that there was nothing to cook or eat with. When I went to the restaurant to ask for a couple forks they wanted to charge me, which I thought was insane. When I went to the front desk they were not very helpful, but we figured it out. Later I wanted to confirm our shuttle time and they guy said he had no idea, but when he looked up our room number, it was right there on our reservation. So glad this place was just a one night stop. I would not recommend unless you are prepared with a kitchen or planning to eat out the whole time.

Good/central location, very nice and clean beach area (plenty of beach chairs), nice pools, spacious rooms, excellent breakfast, older facilities but good value for money
hardly any pool chairs available, so-so dinner (only tried it once), not many activities for older kids

Everything was great! the staff was super nice, it’s right on the beach, the pools are nice, the restaurants, etc. The value of the rooms is definitely worth the stay. it’s very clean and spacious.
This is nothing that the hotel did, we just wish it was closer - walking distance to other food. But everything about the stay made this not even an issue!

Good Location
Old, bad smell from carpet.

The location was amazing. It is perfect for children because you can sit and relax while your kids are at the playground having fun with other kids. A great balance.
The water is shallow and beautiful clear blue. Our view from our room (8th floor) was gorgeous. We love having a kitchen.
The couch and sofa in the bedrooms are really not comfortable. Check-out is at 11 am and if you want to check out later they charged you US$20 per hour. The food at the buffet was so-so.

I liked everything

The hotel is situated at a prime beach location. It has a nice buffet breakfast/lunch/dinner, and a small a-la-carte bar. Great functional Wi-Fi, and a good list of amenities.
Some of the rooms are a bit aged, the age-conditioner worked but made some loud noises in between temp changes. Everything else was in agreeable condition.

Large suite on 7th floor of bldg 2. Good views from the two balconies.
Asked for two beds and got one king sized bed with a Murphy bed that was last used in 1981 by the looks of it!

The location
The hotel is old as well as the furniture, the appliances were rusty, and the not that clean. The staff were not that friendly and cooperative in many occasions.

The staff, amazing and friendly people.
The beach and swimming pools very nice too
the food at the restaurant too overrated
3.5 / 5.0
The studio was very big and the beds were comfortable. It’s nice to be able to choose between relaxing at the swimming pool or the beach and there are beds available at both. The staff was very friendly. Breakfast was good, had a lot of options
The rooms are extremely dated, it felt like we were back in the 80’s. There is only one restaurant for breakfast and another for dinner at the hotel and both are not too scale to the size of the hotel which was a shame as there isn’t anything in walking distance as an alternative.

beach, activities
Food. Restaurant has no good food.

they rooms are huge and they even upgraded us to a suite! the beach is really nice but we had bad weather so we didn’t really use it for the 2 nights. it’s a big complex and they offer many tours etc. I think it would be nice for families with kids as there is a small water park right next to it. Anyways even though this type of accommodation is not something we usually stay in it was good value for money:) across the street there is the beautiful lagoon which we had a nice boat trip in.
no complaints really. it’s a old but nice hotel and good value for money since the zona hotelera is very expensive
