The location is walking distance to anywhere. The apartment provides everything we need for our stay. Marcus was very helpfull, great hospitality.
i know it was mentioned on the description, but the stairs were harder than i thought. the steps were very narrow and steep. Thank God my toddler is quite calm, but i still have to be extra carefull when he's around the stairs. If you happen to have an active toddler/young kid, i would not recommend because it could be dangerous.

Amazing location, well styled and thoughtful details. we couldn’t t have asked for more
lugging our bags up 3 flights of stairs wasnmt fun but they had made this clear it would be the case. they were pretty stairs though!

Location was superb.
Lack of elevators was hard with the amount of luggage.

The review is for the Superior Three-Bedroom Apartment - 2nd Floor
The location is perfect, on the main street of the old town, which has also downsides (see below).
Very roomy impeccably clean apartment with electronic keys, functional bedrooms with closets, fully equipped kitchen with large enough fridge and dishwasher.
Washing machine and dryer are situated in the bathroom. The dryer doesn't appear on the images of the apartment, probably it was added later.
In absence of air conditioning three fans are making living acceptable even in hottest summer days.
Large windows overlooking main street also providing view on a beautiful church.
A piece of advice. The apartment is situated in the middle of the car-free zone. When arriving with the luggage, it's a 3 minute walk on the old stone pavement, which can hurt your suitcases' wheels. The closest location to unload the luggage is probably the Marktplatz, 180m away or around Hauptstraße 131, 150m away, but you can't park there in neither of these places. The good thing, it's possible to bring the car up to the building during the night-morning hours, before 9am, together with the supply trucks and shop owners, and move it after loading/unloading the suitcases.
As for the parking garage, I highly recommend P13, which is located on the same street 5 min away and has large enough parking slots.
The stairs could be tricky for bringing the luggage, though it wasn't a problem for us.
The main street is very noisy at night, which affects the main bedroom, but not the other two. Unfortunately that's the bedroom with better (softer) mattress. The queen size bed in the second bedroom is quite hard for my taste, though good quality. We needed to close the windows, which is I wouldn't do otherwise during the hot summer. Also, the owners provide a lot of ear plugs, which partially solved the problem.

The location is absolutely perfect. You walk outside your door and you are on the main street of the old town. We also loved all of the space in the apartment, it is very large. And the windows overlooking the main street are great to open at night and peer out onto all the people. We also really liked the gifts that were left in the room for us. That was a very special touch by management!
It was hot when we were there and there was no air conditioning. however they provided sufficient fans throughout the apartment. Also the main bed could be a little bit more comfortable.

Excellent location, very big and spacious. Apartment was clean and provided all the necessary household items and has a fully equipped kitchen. Provides everything you need so you only need to bring clothes and personal items. Hosts were easy to communicate with and responded to all messages and enquiries straight away
Our apartment was on the third floor - which made for stunning views but there was a narrow staircase to climb, which was quite tiresome but I would still stay there again! But anyone with elderly or behindered guests might find this difficult

Location!

Location was PERFECT! In the heart of historic old town, my family and I had access to everything—restaurants, castle, the river. All attractions were within walking distance. The apartment was very spacious and had everything we needed. The owners were also very responsive to any requests that we had during our stay.
The location comes with a small cost. It’s difficult to access by car.

Ideally situated for quick access to shops, funicular to castle and at the top to the children’s playground; swimming pool and zoo. Loved the views from the windows and furnishing very comfortable. Access to Netflix on TV an added treat.
It was up a steep spiral staircase without a lift. The children loved that though!

well fitted out for our party of three

The size and location
Nothing, it was great.
4.0
Location excellent, couldn't be more central, and nicely appointed apartment. Comfy beds and simple check-in process.
The centrality means you'll need to compromise on peace & quiet - very noisy in the middle of the night as travellers stumble home from bars (earplugs provided). Had hoped from the listing images that there would be a communal outdoor area for sitting but I think there's only a private balcony for upper-level apartments. Wine on arrival was a nice touch but for the price point I would have preferred that coffee was supplied and some proper toiletries (shampoo/conditioner etc) - you'll find a 3-in-1 type of dispenser in the shower and some hand soap, but that's all.

We spend three nights in this centrally located apartment in the ancient town. Being centrally located allows to have a rest in-between city visits.
The apartment came as a very good surprise, since the front door access seemed somewhat gloomy. The rooms are airy, well furbished and very clean.
The apartment is situated in a very crowded street (main street of Heidelberg). The nights can be a bit noisy as there are lots of tourists. The hosts provide however earplugs and relaxing essential oils so the noise did not impede our beauty sleep.

We were two families with small kids/baby. The stay was great, even had toys available. Very clean, staff super quick in replying to any questions. Great location
All was great. Just a bit noisy from the street, but it is normal for a location in center of city
4.0
Located at the center of Heidelberg with walking distance to the Bergbahn and main square. The apartment is also very clean and you have a good view at the balcony. Contactless checkin is also provided during COVID times as there is electric lock for the main door and the room door.
The spiral staircase to the top of the floor is not convenient to carry large luggage going up.
4.5
Very clean and comfortable. Spacious and well maintained. The location was superb. Right on the Main Street in the old town with lots of shops, restaurants and bars nearby.
We were on the third floor. Staircase was winding and not always handrails. Other thing was the bathroom was off one of the bedrooms. This was fine for us as we traveled as a family, but could cause issues for other types of groups
