Definitely recommended! Room is a good size, very clean and the Wi-Fi is good as well. The little hostess is really cute too. And there’s a store right beside it. I would stay there again!

h location to the ruins

Staff were nice and laid back. Room was large and had a tv which we actually used as there’s not much to do at night in Coba
It was loud at night, cats fighting, & dogs barking.

Good location on the main street, restaurant on site. Room was basic but spacious and clean. Good for night stay before visiting Coba ruins.

Everything was perfect expect for there being no wifi. The family is very very friendly, hospitable, and kind- truly gems of people! I didn't eat at the restaurant but the Sandia (watermelon) and limon (lemonade) frescas were divine. Really fresh.
BUT there is some dishonesty with the internet situation, which is slightly upsetting. The password written inside the room is incorrect, and the one he gave me the next day was also incorrect (they were both also completely different, yet the first one he assured me was right... and then the new one he gave was assured to be real/true). In all honesty, I sense they don't want guests to use their wifi as they have lots of children- at least 5, I believe. I would have WAY MORE respect and not even mind if this had been communicated- for example, please don't stream anything and keep internet use to a minimal. We have children who like to watch things, etc. But instead they just lie on repeat; and I wasted about 3 hours in total over two days trying to find the perfect location for wifi, of which there isn't. Because internet is non-existent. (You can go up to the restaurant and use wifi during the day, but it's not really ideal nor is it ok for night-time.)
The room was lovely and big. I saw a few cockroaches during my stay, but the shower was one of the best I've had in Mexico. They also gave complimentary towel, soap, and shampoo, which was kind. I wish this family the best.
No wifi, except for in the restaurant. Other than this nothing- a lovely family. :)

Autentic Mexican experience. Dont stay here if you like fancy-ass places.

Good size room, mosquito screens on door and window, good features, possible to pay with credit card and get cash for 5 /10% extra charge. There is no chance to get cash in town and the tickets at the ruins are cash only. Its a nice calm town for a evening walk. Orient bus drives right by and there is a bus at 11ish and 14ish towards valladolid. Easy to catch and the workers help. We haven't tried the food there so we have no opinion on that. The restaurant looks nice and relaxing. Shower had good pressure. Bring good mosquito reppelent to wear. Good jungle feeling with all the sounds. Thanks we like to come back
Actually the mattresses are worn down and very soft. But thats the only recommended change for the future. Everything else was really good

Freddy and Reni were the most hospitable people we have met in Mexico, they were extremely friendly and Freddy even told us about his love for habanero chilli, they had a home made chilli sauce that was the best I’ve tried here!
if the toilet seat was different this was the only thing that didn’t make this place perfect for visiting the Coba ruins

Very nice staff, they also run the restaurant, that is very nice and affordable!
Nicely located, walking distance to Chichen Itza.
Very quiet in the night.
Free parking just in front.
Very spacious.
Not sure if the bedsheets were changed...there were a few spots on it and they didnt really smell to fresh.
Cleaning status could be better
TV didnt work.

Delightful young couple operate this hotel. Very reasonably priced, simple, impeccably clean. They prepared a very tasty dinner, again very reasonably priced, and insisted on getting up early in the morning to make me coffee and pan con queso.
No hot water in shower at night - did not check the sink. Yes, there was hot water in the sink in the morning.

I loved staying in Coba and extended my stay for an extra night. The village is still genuine and most people speak Mayan as well as Spanish. I work online and the WiFi worked really well.

The bed was comfortable. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. The meal I had was delicious.
The towels were hard and rough like sandpaper. 😭
There was no hot water, only luke warm.

Happy locals.
This is not a hotel. Just a room at the back of restaurant. Door handle came off in my hand, toilet seat was "spongy" . Poor lighting...bed side lamp had a ted bulb (??). Food was average and qthe mosquitoes were so rampant I had to abandon the restaurant and eat in my room. Nobody spoke English and n english tv channels. Building rubble and assorted junk everwhere. Dont know why booking.com calls this a hotel when it so obviously is not one.
