Un séjour parfait dans un cadre idyllique

Tout était parfait. Le personnel est très sympathique, la chambre est spacieuse et la literie confortable. Nous avons également très bien mangé. L’hôtel est calme et propice à la détente.

Wunderbar, wir haben es sehr genossen.

Die Hotelanlage ist wie ein kleines Paradies. Das Gartenzimmer ist sehr schön, der Ausblick von der Terrasse fantastisch. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Das Frühstücksbüffet ist sehr reichhaltig und immer frisch. Alles sehr zu empfehlen!

Perfecte uitvalsbasis voor de vele mooie wandelingen in de buurt

Rustig, kleinschalig hotel op een perfecte locatie. Zeer attentvol personeel. Zeer goed advies i.v.m. de wandelingen in de buurt. Wandelgidsen en zelfs zaklampjes (voor wandelingen door de tunnels) worden gratis uitgeleend. Picknick pakketten op aanvraag. Mooie, goed onderhouden tuin. Gezellig zwembad. Ontbijt op het terras aan het zwembad.

You can find better places to stay

Not much

Trip ruined by rude and unhelpful staff. The German speaking receptionist was very rude and unaccomdating for requests such as drinking water and leaving the keys when going on a walk (refused!!!). Were too scared to ask for help getting a huge nee out of our room or something to help with the mosquitoes. Long walk to rooms (down a steep hill) and no help with luggage. It was a gym session each day. Not a great view or really anything to rave about.

On a tout aimé. Super accueil. Établissement magnifique, calme et dans la verdure. Restaurant très bien aussi bien pour les petits déjeuners que pour le diner. Piscine très bien. Possibilité de massage.

Erholsame Tage mit Meeres- und Landschaftsblick

Die Vermieter des Hotel Atrio lieben ihr Hotel und ihre Gäste. Das merkt man. Jedem Gast wird eine Führung über die gesamte Anlage zu Teil und eine persönliche Einweisung des Zimmer vom Hausherren. Er nimmt sich die nötige Zeit für jeden Gast und ist immer ansprechbar. Das Frühstück und noch mehr das Abendessen sind sehr gut. Die Menü-Angebote, die es an manchen Tagen der Woche gibt, sind sehr lecker und schön angerichtet. Das Personal ist freundlich und service-orientiert. Auch die umfangreiche Photovoltaik-Anlage zeugt von einem nachhaltigen Betrieb.

Das Bad in unserem Zimmer war sehr klein. Dort zu zweit zu sein, bedarf schon ein Gewissens Geschick. Beim nächsten Besuch würden wir eines der Bungalows buchen.

Favoriete plek op Madeira

Oase van rust, comfort en uitstekende persoonlijke service. Erg goed restaurant, met ruime keuze van verse producten. Verder ook een aangenaam zwembad en prachtige tuin.

Op loopafstand weinig te doen, echter ook niet nodig doordat het hotel van alle gemakken en uitstekend restaurant is voorzien.

Wundervoller Reiseausklang

Eine wunderschöne, idyllische Anlage mit traumhaftem Blick und sehr hilfsbereitem, freundlichen Personal. Sogar eine Wellnessbehandlung konnte kurzfristig noch gebucht werden. Das Essen war genauso ausgezeichnet wie das Frühstücksbüffet, sehr vielfältig und schmackhaft!

Sehr ansprechendes tolles Hotel

Das Hotel hat uns in jeder Hinsicht gefallen: Lage: sehr ruhig mit toller Aussicht, sehr gepflegte Anlage insgesamt Personal: extrem freundlich und kompetent Zimmer: sauber und stilvoll eingerichtet Frühstück: großes Buffet mit vielen frischen Früchten, Vollkornbrot, Müsli etc. - es fehlte an nichts Abendessen: wir haben nur 2 mal dort gegessen (da wir sonst auf der Insel unterwegs waren und spontan wo gegessen haben) - aber das Essen war sehr gut und preislich angemessen

Wir haben nichts zu beanstanden.

Would definitely recommend. Great food and location!

The stay here at Atrio was very nice. The staff was super and always ready to accomodate. The breakfast was delicious and there was always something a little different each morning. All yummy! The dinners were also wonderful. I was very happy about the view of the ocean.

I would have appreciated air conditioning to stay cool while sleeping.

Hotel Atrio traumhaft und empfehlenswert

Ruhige Lage mit traumhaften Blick auf den Atlantik. Sehr schöner Garten. Gemütlich eingerichtete Zimmer. Sehr leckere Küche. Superfreundliches und hilfsbereites Personal, immer für die Gäste da. Man fühlt sich wie in Familie. Ein großes Lob und Danke an alle Mitarbeiter!!

Excellent, quiet, natural retreat for a relaxing hiking vacation - couple or family especially.

Gorgeous cabin getaway in the countryside! Every detail is looked after for a relaxing and comfortable stay. Very quiet place. Incredible food - breakfast and dinner - a lot was homemade. They really take pride in their project here!

Could have been a touch cheaper.

Adoramos tudo, a cama super confortável, todo o staff muito simpático, ofereceram água e fruta à chegada, comida muito boa. Fiquei surpreendida pela positiva pela quantidade de opções vegetarianas, estão de parabéns! Vamos recomendar este hotel e queremos voltar.

Tem muitas abelhas, o que para nós não foi um problema, mas para quem é alérgico a picada de abelha é preciso ter cuidado.

Prachtige accomodatie voor wandelaars en zonaanbidders

Ligging van bungalow met privacy en prachtig uitzicht op zee en natuur. Ruimte binnen en buiten, luxe en comfort. Prachtig aangelegde tuinen en zwembad en ontbijt bij het zwembad bij mooi weer. Bij aankomst door receptioniste zeer hartelijk welkom geheten met uitleg over tuin en accomodatie.

Bediening van een personeelslid bij diner vonden wij niet echt servicegericht. Lang wachten voordat ons gevraagd werd of we alvast iets wilde drinken bij diner. Ongevraagd ijsblokjes in drankje. En bij het ontbijt na lang wachten een zachtgekookt ei krijgen terwijl je duidelijk een hardgekookt ei hebt besteld. Bepaalde gasten leken meer privileges te krijgen; werden eerder geholpen en kregen speciale koffiesoorten. Verbetertip: In bungalow was bij entree de eucalyptusgeur in eerste instantie en lekker ruikende geur, echter ging de geur 's nachts overheersen. en hield ons enigszins uit de slaap. Op badkamer liggen de gedroogde eucalyptusvruchten te geuren, mogelijk nog versterkt door eucalyptusspray?

Beautiful location and exceptional food

The dinner options , breakfast and food were exceptional! Homemade pasta and bread were divine m. The view and the house were so beautiful. The heated pool was a big plus!

When arriving newly to the hotel our dinner card in the room said to preorder the tiramisu the day before so when we wanted to do so we were briefly informed that this is only possible before 8pm and not even half an hour later for new arrives who didn’t know. That was a pity and I wished we were treated more kindly. There’s a window between the dining area and the kitchen and it’s very noisy you hear the staff chatting and working in a kitchen is never quiet.

Prachtige accomodatie met een fantastisch uitzicht over zee. Vriendelijk personeel, ruime kamers en een heerlijk ontbijtje maken het een fijne plek om een paar nachtjes te verblijven.

Sehr erholsam und genmütlich

Sehr schönes und gepflegtes Hotel im lokalem Baustil und Einrichtung am Hang ca. 500 m über dem Meer. Große Zimmer mit tollem Ausblick, großer Garten und Pool. Sehr freundliches und aufmerksames Team. Umfangreiches Frühstück, diverse Eispeisen werden auf Wunsch frisch zubereitet. Man kann sich sogar Reise- und Wanderführer sowie Wanderstöcke und Taschenlampen an der Rezeption ausleihen und bekommt auch Wandertipps. Das hoteleigene Restaurant ist täglich geöffnet und bietet sehr gute lokale Gerichte und mehrmals wöchentlich individuelle Menüs zu einem sehr guten Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. War ein SUUUPER Aufenthalt für uns - sehr gerne wieder!!! DANKE an das Hotelteam.

Quite a remote location at 500m above sea-level. Calm and peaceful with a great restaurant.

Deluxe room was spacious [c 40m2] with private terrace. Very quiet. Beds excellent. Breakfast had some different choices every day. Can eat on the terrace. Dinner also had daily specials. Access to Levada Nova was c 500m up the hill. Good pool for swimming laps. You definitely need a car.

Shower had no thermostat and water temperature fluctuated...... watch out! [but good shower and water pressure]. Massages were good [and not expensive] but the massage bed should be more comfortable.

Ein perfektes Hotel mit hervorragendem Personal. Das beste in wir je gewohnt haben. Sehr gute Lage wenn man in den Bergen wandern will. Das Hotel bietet ausgezeichnetes Essen. Auch das Frühstück ist außergewöhnlich, da das meiste hausgemacht ist (Brot, Brötchen, Croissants, usw.). Köstlich! Preis /Leistungsverhältnis ist überdurchschnittlich gut.

Es gibt nichts zu bemängeln!

The best hotel during our trip! We were impressed by the green garden, the view and heated swimming pool. The bed was super comfy, the room very clean and the little private terrace outside was a pleasant surprise.

Von Anfang bis Ende ein toller Aufenthalt.

Einfach alles, Aussicht, Lage und beim Frühstück dass man sich aussuchen konnte wie man sein Ei haben möchte und keine hart gekochten Standard Eier vorgesetzt bekommt. Ansonsten gute Auswahl, für jeden Geschmack was dabei. Das Restaurant ist sehr gut und Preis Leistung stimmt. Personal ist immer aufmerksam und hilfsbereit.

Ganz tolles Hotel

Traumhaftes Hotel, mit gigantischem Ausblick. Das Zimmer war ganz toll eingerichtet und die Terrasse uneinsehbar. Das Personal war total nett und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück war top. Preis-Leistung war nicht zu schlagen.

Einzig zu nennen wäre hier die Abgeschiedene Lage, aber das ist Jammern auf hohem Niveau. Es war nahezu perfekt.

Bon séjour, agréable.

L’emplacement face à l’océan, et les jardins sont magnifiques. Le petit déjeuner est copieux.

Un peu bruyant (nous avions un bébé dans la chambre à côté ce qui n’était pas de tout repos). Décoration de la salle un peu à l’ancienne
