A view of the lake is wonderful, especially when there were surprise fireworks one of the nights. The air-conditioning is also a lifesaver in the summer heat. The shower was great and the room was big. The hotel is 3-5mins walk away from the main streets.
Overall, the property is rather old. For the price, I expected more or just top up a bit more for a better hotel.

Staff, especially reception staff, were great - really helpful and very friendly. The location was perfect for Stresa. It was quiet with parking on site. The rooms were very good - clean and spacious, especially in the newer annexe. The breakfast was good with a variety of cold items.

Everything about the property was fabulous. We had three rooms: a lake view room on the top floor that was actually a suite: a double room and bathroom, plus a single room and additional bathroom (#51 & 52); another lake view double room with balcony on the second floor (#11, I think) and a triple with garden view on the 1st floor (#4, I think). All were great, especially the lake view rooms. Definitely worth it. The views are stunning.
The hotel retains its charm while being updated with modern comforts. The bathrooms were great. There is an elevator. The ac works well. There was plenty of storage. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious, in a gorgeous setting. The hotel grounds are beautiful as well. The staff is very friendly.
We would return in a heartbeat.
Nothing. It was perfect.

The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. Nice seating area outside where we had drinks from the bar. It’s a short walk up a gentle slope from the town, but this means it’s nice and quiet. There is a railway line close by but you soon get used to that.
The decor in the room was a bit tired, but that’s a small point compared to the many positive aspects of the hotel.

Great location - nice setting, perfect for us as we were traveling with our dog and there are grounds you can walk in which is helpful when it's right in the centre of town
Made us & the dog very welcome.
Good breakfast buffet too.

Good breakfast and spacious room. Only a few minutes walk from the town square.
WI-FI was not all that great. TV with internet would be good.

The staff, location, and grounds were all completely next level (the concierge in particular was truly fantastic- I forget her name but she made my stay wonderful).
It feels like even some new wallpaper would make this a 4-star hotel. Everything else was impeccable so it felt somewhat odd that the rooms were so outdated.

Friendly helpful staff, hotel in a fantastic location with easy access to Stresa main square and water taxis to the Borromean Islands. Hotel is beautiful in furnishings with ornate ceilings and chandeliers, a small bar, lounge for residents and a breakfast room with views of Lake Maggiore.. Our garden room had a modern walk in shower, balcony overlooking the garden and modernised double or triple glazed windows.
The trainline to Stresa runs at the back of the house, it didnt affect our sleep but some may find it noisy.

Amazing views over the lake and surrounding mountains from the windows of our room. Very friendly and informative staff. Emma gave us a really warm welcome and was very helpful. Varied, delicious breakfast. Very comfortable room and bed, quiet accommodation. Abundant beautiful places to visit nearby (Mottarone peak, Orta and St Giulio Island, the alpine valley up to Domodossola. Lots of good places to eat a few minutes' walk from the hotel. Easy access to the boats on the lake to the Borromean Islands. Easy access to the Swiss border alongside the beautiful shore of Lake Maggiore.

Great location, easy access to the town and all amenities. A wonderful period hotel with many original features giving a sense of charm and nostalgia.
The occasional noisy train passing by on the adjacent railway line.

Location! 5 minutes walk to the city center and the lake.Parking on the Hotel area. The hotel has a pleasant and friendly atmosphere. Cosy atmosphere! Very friendly stuff!! especially Emmanuela! always ready to help and give advice.
My wife and I were very pleased with our stay at this hotel and we recommend it to everyone!
It seems to me that the rooms need more modern furniture and I missed the hot breakfast.

I was not happy with my room after seeing the decor in the main building and comparing it with the my friends' rooms.

Very large and nice room, very Italian authentic atmosphere.
Breakfast is very nice.
Owners are lovely.
Location is great - couple of minutes walk from stressa's center.
Parking was relatively small, we always got the last parking spot available.

Staff was very kind, good breakfast, excellent location.
The train goes quite close to the building.

Manager was really welcoming but the assistant wasn’t at all. The Hotel and room were really clean but without much amenities like microwave or coffee maker or anything like that. Location was good, not far from downtown but a little too near the train tracks. Windows Noise insulation was enough to keep that at bay. I was in the annex building which is much less charming than the original villa you see in the hotel pictures.
The room description was a little deceiving as it states that the whole building is at ground level which is not true. Breakfast is amazing.

The name of the hotel says at all: the estate is a park.
Beautiful old trees with possibilities to sit under,
the garden is simply beautiful.
But as are the buildings that fit simply perfect into the setting.

Breakfast was OK, nothing special, but enough.
Location is in a quite zone, at 10 min walk from the lake, except the rails which are at close distance.
Nice garden around with an excellent sitting area.
The sockets are not grounded type, so if you have electrical appliances with a Shuko type plug, you have no way to use them.

The hotel is authentic and beautiful and in a quiet location 5mins from the town centre. The staff were exceptional, very friendly and welcoming. We felt very looked after and relaxed at the Hotel du Parc. Also the best Spritz Aperol in the town !! After postponing our holidays since 2020 , Hotel du Parc and Lake Maggiore was worth the wait!
Nothing to dislike at all.

The staff was very helpful and responsive. The breakfast had a wide variety of bread, pastries, fruit, meat, cheese, yogurt, hard boiled eggs and coffee, The dining room was beautiful with a nice view. The location was great, within easy walking distance to town. We had a parking spot right outside the hotel and the hotel is also close to the train station for those using public transport.

The staff were very nice and helpful! The rooms were exactly what we needed, very clean and comfortable, small balcony with beautiful view to the lake and mountains! The location is perfect, 3 minutes walk to the center, 5 minutes to the lake, comfortable parking, very nice breakfast and the place was just beautiful! We recommend and definitely will come back if we will travel again to this area!

The position of the property is perfect, set in lovely gardens with parking, only a 5 minute stroll from the lake and perfect for a choice of restaurants and ice creams shops.
The staff were all exceptionally helpful, specifically Simona on reception gave us great advice on where to go and what to do. Emanuela and Luca ensured that we were looked after at breakfast. We recommend this place and will hopefully come back.
The property is old and a little tired in places but this adds to its charm. Parking is a little tight in some places if you have a bigger car. But neither would stop us coming back.
