very good location, something a bit different

Quirky theme and provides something different to your standard hotel and restaurant. The food’s delicious, and the hotel’s in a really central location just behind The Pantiles

A great Hotel with simple parking and fantastic staff

The room was fine but a little small as we had the last one on the right but very clean and a great mattress, bathroom really clean and all the extras such as coffee, spring water, ironing board and iron are great touches The breakfast was EXCELLENT and included in the price which we were amazed at. Fantastic staff !!!!!

Brilliant stay at a themed hotel! We will be returning!

We loved everything but mainly the theme of the hotel rooms at Smith and Western. My son’s favourite restaurant in S&W in Addlestone and we wanted to treat him by bringing him to the actual hotel. He loved it, all the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly and it was a really enjoyable experience. The rooms are really clean and the decor is amazing and fits in well with the theme. We will definitely be back!

Not being a fan of country and western music I was fearing the worst, but no need!

Breakfast was very good, prompt polite service. All the staff were friendly. Never had to wait for service. The room was certainly different from others I've stayed and although this was above the bar despite other people's comments it was never intrusive.

The staff did everything, to enable a memorable stay

Breakfast and location excellent. We were attending a wedding, and needed to change as we had been travelling. Able to use hotel before booking in time. Every effort make to enable this to happen.

The hotel chain still uses individual plastic containers of hygiene products. Most hotel chains now use dispensers, that can be refilled. These I think are more environmentally friendly, preventing plastic use.

Very pleasant one night stay, would recommend

Room was very comfortable and spacious. Excellent separate shower in bathroom. Breakfast choice was excellent and different. Liked the themed room and bar/ dining area. Staff were very friendly and helpful

We liked the Wild West theme and the friendly staff

The breakfast on the last two days wasn’t good, no muesli or marmalade of the 4th morning and then on our last day (Saturday) no one bothered to tell us that breakfast was later on weekends, we got downstairs at 7-30 to have breakfast before our journey home to find it all locked up, one of the other guests told us it didn’t open till 9am so we had to leave without eating

Visiting the Spa Valley Railway? This interesting boutique experience couldn't be closer.

The Wild West style was genuinely charming. It was kitschy in a good way, without it being glaring and impractical. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and the bathroom was well kept and stocked with decent toiletries. Superb power shower too. Another highlight was the breakfast, which was hearty, satisfying and not the usual fare. The manager was attentive and let us store our luggage while we were out and about on the trains. Our room was mostly clean.

Our room was quite cramped, and without much of a view. It would've been nice, if there had been a mini-fridge to keep drinks on a very warm day.

Great overnight stay at this hotel

Very good facilities ,location and ease of access to the centre of Tunbridge Wells , great menu, bar facilities .Friendly staff happy to help with all needs . Great night spent at the hotel. Recommended

Super friendly staff, extremely clean hotel throughout and amazing breakfast!

The standard of breakfast which was included in the room rate was AMAZING! Staff were super friendly from the get-go until we left. The whole experience was faultless. Shall definitely be staying here again.
